I worked with April Miller one-on-one, nearly every week for the better part of a year. Shes talented and well-polished. She meets you where youre at, never undermining how you feel about or view a situation. She asks questions to help you draw conclusions, rather than giving the answers; her tactic leads to a changed perspective. Her memory is impressive and personal connection is genuine. I never felt like I wasted a session. She couples Biblical truths with practical application. If youre new to counseling, I encourage you to commit to 4-6 sessions before expecting much change; sessions sometimes draw out personal issues, causing it to hurt worse before it feels better. I would recommend LifeCare to anyone wanting solid, Biblical counseling and willing to put in the work to make change.

This is such a wonderful place. It has good energy and good people. I especially like working with Ashley Wright. She has such a good spirit and warm presence. She will immediately make you feel at ease.

My daughter was a patient here and it is one of the worst run counseling establishments Ive ever seen. The office manager would not allow me to speak with a supervisor about how things were mishandled and told lies about what was communicated in writing to my daughter. Terrible representation of what Christian counseling should look like.

Going through personal challenges in life can be draining and stressful. Over the past few years I have had to deal with a divorce as well as custody-related issues. Lifecare has been by my side every step of the way. Im not sure what I would have done without them. I worked with Bill Venable and then Steven Price. Both of those therapists are outstanding in every possible way: knowledgeable, empathetic, encouraging, creative, inspiring, and full of faith. I dont think you could find a better group of people than those at Lifecare. I not only rely on them for guidance in my personal life but I also recommend them highly to both clients, friends, and fellow church members.
