Aspire is an excellent therapy practice group. From a phone intake and conversation about therapy modalities, my overall goals, and whether she would be a good match, Felix Blumhardt has been a great fit. I especially appreciate her measured guidance and suggestions about how to best work on the issues that brought me to therapy. With COVID, virtual sessions have continued seamlessly. Empathetic, non-judgmental, good sense of humor, and very skilled.

Chris, Tammy and the therapists at Aspire are top notch! They care deeply about their community and make sure that they have the training to make sure they are able to provide competent, expert therapy to people who come to see them. If you are needing therapy, you can’t go wrong with therapists at this practice.

My sessions with Dr. Felix Blumhardt saved my life. This is NOT hyperbole. She addressed my concerns in a logical and compassionate manner, providing concrete resources to help me develop coping mechanisms. I appreciate SO VERY MUCH her skill, intelligence and humor. Even while meeting virtually, Dr. Blumhardt was able to create a dynamic and productive working relationship that transcended the limitations imposed by the Covid pandemic. I highly recommend Dr. Blumhardt and Aspire Counselling Group. Thank you from the top and bottom of my heart...!

I wish there were more stars because Christine deserves them all! When I started with her a little while back, I saw myself as a pure hot funky mess. Hopefully by the end I will see myself as pure ..well at least pure hot! LOL!!Ive been seeing Christine to help me process an ugly amount of trauma. She has given me a caring space where I feel safely heard and not judged. I feel that she is genuinely with me in this process. She makes me laugh...medicine for my soul. Working with her gives me confidence that I WILL reach the joy, peace and connection to others that I know is available to me. Im super honored to be her client and you would be too!

I was not able to get into the portal on the day of the appointment. I emailed Paige - Im assuming the receptionist - and 4 hours later she had not emailed me back, so I emailed her again. Thirty minutes later, she emailed me another invitation to join the portal. No apologies, no context, nothing. I finally got into the portal and after waiting in the online session for almost 25 minutes for the therapist, David, he never showed up. I emailed them asking what was going on and Ive yet to hear from anyone. Highly unprofessional behavior, especially for people in a field that supposedly care about your wellbeing.EDIT: Both Dave and the co-owner eventually did reach out and apologized.

I love attending sessions with Tammy at Aspire counseling. The practice is easily accessible and convenient, and they do a great job of incorporating whole body wellness and physical awareness into sessions. Ive gained a lot of skills and it is a great part of my routine to check in with my therapist. I would recommend Tammy or the group to anyone!

My company recommended Aspire and after reviewing the staff online, I reached out to Tammy Blackard Cook. Im very glad I did. Her professional (and personal) experience in parenting helped me through a rough patch having just moved to NC as a recently divorced mom of 2 girls. My ex while he still lived out of state made things difficult for not only myself but for both girls in different ways. Working with Tammy helped build the confidence I needed to make healthy choices for my family.
