I am so pleased and relieved to bring my cat to this clinic and have examined by Dr.G. He explained well what is going on with my cat and provide me with choices on how to proceed with the intervention. He was very honest and disclose all the information that i need including the possible cost . He is not pushy and not demanding. I have experienced with other vet that i feel they were only after the money but not here in this clinic. And the staff Luke and front desk were very helpful and accomodating. My cat needed help right away and they were so pleasant to help me via phone and in person. I will recommend this clinic for all your pet health and urgent care needs

Dr. G and all the staff at Capital Blvd. Animal Hospital have been wonderful with my cat Lucy when she visits. Lucy is older and is not very nice to people she doesnt know but the staff has been really good with her. She has hyperthyroidism which requires routine blood work. They get the job done with ease. I highly recommend this vet!

I moved to the area in early March and I have elderly cats. Unfortunately two of my cats had to be euthanized at separate times; one due to illness and the other from old age with complications after a six week period of her slowly declining.Each time, Ryan and the other staff members and especially Dr. G were very kind and comforting through the process.I have to return to the doctor with my two other cats. I look forward to seeing them again soon.They are just wonderful people and Dr G is an absolutely amazing doctor. BRILLIANT!

Dr. G took care of my pup. He was extremely kind, honest and attentive. The prices are very good compared to other vets but the way they actually care about your fur babies is what really makes them stand out . Also the staff is so sweet and easy going . I was recommended here by a friend who is VERY particular when it comes to her fur babies. So happy and grateful I found them .

This place has been beyond amazing to me and my baby pepper. I have a grey pocket bully and unfortunately they come with issues such as bad allergies and itchy skin. On top of that, she is very active in biting and chewing which led to her having to have surgery to remove items from her stomach. Doctor G assisted me with this process from start to finish. The whole capital Blvd animal hospital team are amazing! They were super nice and patient with me! I probably called a million times, and every time they answered my questions with such kindness. It’s so hard to trust places and people to care for our loved ones nowadays, so to find this hospital has been a huge blessing. Thank you guys so much for helping out my little pepper and dealing with her anxious and eager mama lol! The staff is very knowledgeable about medications and brands, so even if the vet is busy, your question will still get answered! The only place I trust with pepper! Went to get rescued dog neutered and get his nails trimmed, they didn’t give us a cone and basically told us that was on us to go somewhere and one when he has two incisions on his belly that he wants to lick, and his nails somehow came out sharper.. all in all terrible first experience wouldn’t recommend to a friend… OR ANYONE

My cat recently started breathing like she was snoring. First of all Dr G and his staff are great! Dr. G spent time talking to me and explained what he first thought was an Upper Respiratory Infection.. after the Medications didnt completely resolve the issue he advised me it could be something that would require a CT scan to diagnose.. Unfortunately Dr. G facility doesnt have a CT Scan.. I did find somewhere to get a CT Scan but what a huge difference in the doctor and staff there.Dr. G is not only a wonderful doctor.. but also kind, and caring and he shows it in the way he treats your pet and you as well. When you see Dr G and his staff its like how you would feel going into a Country General Store, all warm and cozy..The other facility where my cats CT Scan was done, was like going into a factory where you and your pet are on an assembly line... no warm and cozy going on there.I will Always take my cat to see Dr. G for all my Veterinarian needs.

I had to bring my dog in to have surgery to remove a pyometra from her uterus. She is 17 year old, 6lb poodle, it was a risk to have the surgery in the first place because of her age.I originally took her to an emergency vet prior to this and they would not do the surgery, I spent a ridiculous amount of money at this emergency vet just to have my dog treated and they did not fix the infection.However, Dr.G, at Capital Blvd hospital advised me of the risk but went forward with the surgery and it went flawless. Now my baby is doing great, she is recovering quickly.The staff there was amazing and welcoming. I highly recommend them and I will continue to take both of my pets here from now on.

Dr. G and staff went above and beyond and beyond taking care of our 11 year old yorkie mix for his first dental cleaning. We found this vet after a Nextdoor review post about their dental special. They were very transparent with pricing and made sure all of my questions were answered. I felt like my dog was in the best care and he is doing very well since the procedure! Even though the dental special is what brought us in as a new client, we will stick with this vet as our primary vet! I really felt like they cared about my fur baby because they were very clear when explaining discharge instructions and home care and also called on the phone later on to make sure he was still doing well. Cannot recommend Capital Blvd Animal Hospital enough!!

Had to take my boy Ghost (cat) in for a UTI and everyone was so sweet and helpful and transparent. The vet was informative and supportive. He got the medicine he needed and they helped me with some prescription food to prevent issues in the future. Theyre very easy to get in touch with via phone or email, and whenever Ive been in the actual office its very calm and not hectic, like most vet clinics are!

I received my fur baby 1 month ago. She had been in a bad living situation and weighed 1.3 lbs. I made an appt that evening and Dr. G, saw her the next day. The staff here are professional and responsive. Bela had a condition, was given medication and now after a month she is fine and weighing 2 lbs. A technician called to inquire about her condition after our 1st visit and we were seen again 1 week later. Their Insurance Plan is a good value for the included services, providing a sense of security should your pet have a medical problem. Dr. G answers all questions and you never feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. G and his staff at this location.

Dr. G has been a great vet since we moved to Raleigh. We had our 16 year old bichon get multiple teeth removed and he had a great surgery and we got plenty of aftercare information. We unfortunately had to put our other dog down here and the process was as smooth as it could be.

My aging cat passed away at home a couple Saturdays ago and my normal vet was closed. Took her to Capital Blvd and Dr. G and team was very compassionate. I do not think you would do wrong choosing them to care for your animals.

Worst place ever. Went there for my sick dog, next day shes got more wrong with her. Got an extra charge to an injection we didn’t approve. Spent 200+ dollars to make her worse.

I have always been a little scared to bring my dogs in for dental checks, both because of the expense and because I was afraid of them finding something terrible...not much different from why I dont go to the dentist! However, I had some extra $$ and knew we had some problems in this area, so I decided to bring in my 12 year old dachshund and 5 year old terrier mix. Both ended up needing extractions, and it wasnt cheap, but Dr G worked with me and explained what was going on. Turns out the older pup had some loose teeth (to be expected at age 12) and my other pup had cracked molars!! NO WONDER she had started to guard toys/treats instead of playing them, she was in pain all this time!! I wish i had done this sooner and i would recommend taking your pets to Dr G for a dental - especially if theyre over 5 years old. Ill be bringing mine in yearly for cleanings from now on!! 🐶💕

Working as a rescue volunteer, Capital Blvd Animal Hospital helps tremendously, on a weekly basis, with death row dogs. Most of the time, this is at a moments notice! Their prices are the best around and the staff is AMAZING. They help in so many ways, that go beyond their job description! We would not be able to save the dogs that we do without this partnership. I recommend this practice to all, they treat animals with tender loving care!

I always spay and neuter my pets because of cancer. I was surprised when I noticed a lump on my 17 year old cat. Unfortunately she had breast cancer. Dr. Gonipeta did blood work to see if it had spread and it didn’t. My cat had the cancer removed and healed up nicely. My cat is so precious to me thank you for doing such wonderful caring work. He also spayed my little puppy can hardly see the scar. Thanks again Dr. Gonipeta and everyone that has helped my pets at your practice it is deeply appreciated.

Missed an illness on my cat that is a death sentence and said it was a UTI. Do not come here

I received a flyer in the mail and thought I would give this practice a try with our new puppy, since I lost my sweet girl three years ago, and no longer had a vet. I called a few times with many, many questions. Every employee that I spoke with over the phone was very professional and extremely helpful with all my questions.Today was her 72 hour vet check. Each tech that helped us was extremely kind and professional. They took the time to listen and discuss all my concerns. Dr. G came out to the car to discuss my concerns. I was super impressed. The puppy has her first well puppy check next week. I don’t typically give 5-star ratings because I am very particular and always expect high quality care. I highly recommend this practice and can not wait to return next week!

The office staff and vet are great here. They were supportive through some unfortunate pet emergencies and the vet himself has been kind and thorough. I will continue taking my dog and my new puppy here for the foreseeable future.

We took my dog here for a few visits as we found the vet and the staff to be more personable. Little did we know that wasnt the case. The last time my dog was there he was diagnosed with a heart murmur. He started getting worse very quickly and we didnt want him to suffer. Last night was the worst, he wouldnt stop crying and he couldnt get comfortable and you could hear how bad his breathing was. We called the vet around 3pm and the receptionist said she would have the vet call back ASAP. We called again a few hours later and still no answer. Someone texted us and we said we needed to speak to someone asap. They didnt call until this afternoon today, a few hours after my dog died in his sleep. While I understand vets are busy dealing with patients, its completely insensitive and in my opinion unprofessional to not return someones call when their dog is in need of care.

Katie snd Dr G took such GREAT care of Julius when we took him in for his dental! His teeth were HORRIBLE I just didn’t realize how bad. They kept me updated and were SO professional! Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking.

Dr. G and Dr. Saladino are both fantastic doctors, and kind. Dr. G diagnosed my cockapoo Bills heart murmur, and Dr. Saladin was there to help when it became congestive heart failure. Theyve kept Bill alive for a full year now, and have even kept me supplied with a life-saving medicine which is on backorder EVERYWHERE due to the pandemic. Bill just celebrated his 11th birthday and we owe it to this great team! ❤ Great staff, too.

We took our Biewer Yorkie for a dental cleaning, she was very well taken care of, we heard from Dr. B with updates on how the cleaning went, that she did well with the procedure and when she would be ready to be picked up, Dr. B discussed what medications she would need for a couple days and follow up care. The facility was very clean, we were taken care of right away.

On March 18 2020 i took my male boxer to get neutered and he was cryptorchid(one testicle never dropped.) They were really good with him. They called and updated me every chance they got about how he was doing.When i picked him up he didn’t want to leave, he loved hanging out with the staff and getting all their attention.I highly recommend Capital Blvd animals hospital. Their staff is amazing and caring, they are extremely clean, and they are reasonably priced!

Outrageously expensive, paid $60 dollars for a plastic cone.... all the techs were extremely nice but the vet had absolutely no regard for our wallet and proceeded to guilt trip us about not getting our dog micro chipped and a heart worm tested after we spent almost $300 to get updated shots and neuter. Not very honest pricing, ask this place itemized receipt I beg you. Classic rip you off vet.

I recently moved to Raleigh and was worried about finding a vet for my two dogs. I happened to give Capital Blvd Animal Hospital a shot when my one dog got suddenly sick - and it was the best decision Ive ever made. The staff are thoughtful and kind and personable. Dr. Dianne Saladino has the perfect balance of brilliance and compassion for animals. I honestly didnt know it was possible to have such a wonderful experience with a vet - especially given the nervous nature of both my dogs. I cant imagine going anywhere else, and Dr. Saladino is my dogs vet for life.

Took my kitten (Finn) in to get spayed on fairly short notice and not only was the staff very friendly and professional but the service was quick and affordable! Great staff, they really went out of their way to make me feel like my baby was in the best of care. Two weeks later and her stitches have healed beautifully. I would highly recommend them.

I needed last minute Boarding and they got my new baby in and even told me about their discount coupons so I also saved money. I then had to bring my new baby in because he was not eating and Dr. Perry was so nice, knowledgeable and welcoming that now we have found our Vet. The place has a cute set up. The staff are kind, caring, and thorough - really taking the time to explain things, discuss options and treatment plans, and really make you feel as though you and your pet(s) are welcome and comprehensively cared for. The office is clean and well-maintained, and staff are knowledgeable and communicative. I felt like they loved my pet as much as I do (!) and sincerely appreciated their time, efforts, and overall handling of every aspect of care. What, by most accounts, would have been a traumatic visit turned out to be a very positive experience for all of us. A GIANT THANK YOU to their staff, we look forward to coming back in the future.

I’m caring for a friends pet that got injured before he was with me. My friend is working in a nyc hospital helping out with Covid and I have had the worst experience at capital blvd animal hospital. I feel her pet has received poor care at best. They have not been helpful regarding pet care after the surgery beyond paperwork I was given which had broad care instructions.The doctor there was rude to me in front of a four year old child after she was negligent of care to the animal. The animal had a bad double ear infection and I expressed behavioral concerns. My behavioral concern was that he was pulling his cone off and getting it stuck in his mouth, and I was worried he’d hurt himself because the sedative wasn’t doing anything. The doctors response to that was that I wasn’t level headed. They even returned the pup to me with his ears full of brown patches. I had to send him back in. The poor dog recovering from hip surgery with a bad double ear infection that they ignored. I’m calling to get the owners name today. The only positive experience I had was with Xavier. I strongly advise against taking your pet here.

The staff and doctors here are amazing! They have treated all my dogs and show care and compassion for each of them. I have referred many friends to them and they are consistent and affordable. They work with several local rescues to assist in healing the sick and neglected animals. Their facility is state-of-the-art and beautiful. The groomers are kind and gentle to my little senior. I got to see the new boarding facility and its beautiful!

If youre looking for new vets that are open 7 days a week, this is the place for you. They do exceptional work with my rescue dogs and would love for a few rescues to come on board. They never walk dogs that’s there for boarding and they act rude when you call to get a idea of pricewe are there a lot since we work with rescue groups and we never see or hear any interactions and or see excising dogsthe facility seems very run downvet told my co worker today she didnt want her business and she was just calling for idea of cost .do not recommendwe called 6 other vets and they had no problem giving a estimated cost of service.not sure what there problems was or is but very unprofessionalme and my dogs won’t be back

Dr K has been taking care of my standard schnauzer since he was a puppy. Amazing staff. Even my kids love spending time with their staff. I like their flexible hours. Affordable. They are open on weekends and accommodate same day appointments. Would definitely recommend.

Luna was seen by Dr. K ! He was so polite, friendly and they were so sweet to her. She was in for wellness update, teeth cleaning and cyst removal. Her incision look great and so clean. Highly recommend this place. They have answered all my questions and made sure Luna was good to go before discharging her.

I’m somewhat new to the area and have a background in animal rescue, working very closely with a veterinarian. My main concern being new to the area was being able to find a veterinarian that looks at all the options, is direct/honest, and doesn’t just seek to make a quick buck. I was disappointed in two vet offices I took my animals to (prior to CBAH), but I’m relieved to have found Capital Blvd Animal Hospital!Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I feel like I’m a part of the decision making for my animals’ care, instead of only given one option with a high price tag(like the other vet offices I visited). Overall I was very pleased with the level of care and customer service. My dog had to have a tumor removed and other treatments due to being a senior. I did have to pay an extra $20 for the cone of shame after paying for the medical bill. I just assumed it would be included. Not a big deal and would recommend them to anyone in the triangle.

Beautiful new facility and very attentive staff. Open until 8pm most days. I call with questions and they always take the time to answer them and explain everything in great detail. Staff member Jennifer was especially helpful over the phone to determine what tick preventative I should be using for my dog.

I brought my three cats to Capital Blvd Animal Hospital for a second opinion after my previous vet was not addressing my concerns when my pets were not getting better. Since the second I walked through they door they have been welcoming, kind, and understanding. All of my concerns were listened to and for the first time in months I felt like I had a plan for getting my cats better. When one of our cats became acutely ill, Dr. Saladino and staff responded immediately. They took amazing care of him and were able to stabilize him before transport to a speciality hospital. Dr. Saladino has continued to do extensive research to ensure our cats are taken care of. She has always kept me well informed on her thought processes and I have never felt safer than I do in the hands of this office. I only wish I wouldve come here sooner. I LOVE this office just as much as the cary location. My best friend and sister had nothing but good things to say about Dr. k. They recently did some teeth extractions and general care for my two dogs, and they seriously did a fantastic job. My pets were instantly a hit at the clinic, the staff were so sweet and had nothing but good things to say — definitely feels like family already.

They are always so friendly and amazing. They always take the time to listen to any questions or concerns I may have no matter how silly they may be and never make you feel rushed. And are all so sweet to my pup! I would highly recommend to any & everyone!

Dr Hopson is absolutely amazing, the vet techs are so friendly & kind! They provided care for all three of my kittens immediately! I called and within 20 minutes my “cat emergency” was handled! Over the course of my 65 years, I have resided in 5 states. In each of those states my family has had the pleasure of owning dogs. Thus, we have had the pleasure of meeting and using the services of several veterinarians and have relied on the services of numerous veterinary clinics. We were always pleased with the care our pets received. Recently, my wife and I fostered and then adopted a German Shepherd. He needed surgery and subsequent medical follow-up care. This required not only a skillful vet, but one who deeply and genuinely cared for the animal being treated. We found such a veterinarian in Dr. Dianne Saladino at Capital Blvd Animal Hospital in Raleigh. Bar none, Dr. Saladino is the FINEST veterinarian with whom weve worked. She is a consummate pro! An absolute GEM! And care for your animal? None better! You will not find a more conscientious, efficient, knowledgeable and caring vet anywhere. She respectfully treats you as a partner when tending to your pet. Dr. Saladinos entire staff is equally fabulous. Many of them are dog owners. They are the friendliest, most efficient and considerate veterinary staff/technicians weve met. For the entire staff, it is a labor of love. I will sum up my review this way: it is largely due to Dr. Dianne Saladino and her staff that our GS, Siggy, has been given a new lease on life. We reside in Durham and treks to Raleigh are not always easy or convenient. Notwithstanding, we wouldnt take Siggy to any other vet and veterinary clinic. You want care with a smile? Capital Blvd Animal Hospital and Pet Inn in Raleigh is the place to go. Ask for Dr. Saladino!

Called this morning was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Very professional and friendly. I love this place. Very patient answered all my questions. Dr. Hopson is the best. Reasonable priced love the fact that they take walk ins. I was able to schedule my appointment in the evening after work. Open very late 6 days a week and even open on Sundays.

Ok, I took my little 9 yr old miniature pincher to Capital Blvd vet to have her teeth cleaned because I heard from a friend and saw an ad at how affordable they are. (Just to say, my min pin was going to a different vet for 9 years. This different vet, quoted me a teeth cleaning of $1500.00 & that included NO teeth pulling. I said, “no way!”) Well, I took her to Capital Blvd Vet and Dr. Saladino was just wonderful. She is very welcoming and friendly. You can tell she truly loves and cares about animals. Dr. Saladino did a sedation, cleaned her teeth, removed two small upper teeth, all the small front bottom, three small molars, and a small growth. She also treated an ear infection and gave us three meds to take home, all for $480.00. Now, that’s affordable.OMG! I have to tell you that my little min pin is like a puppy again. She seems so happy and playful. Her breath smells so much better; she used to have such bad breath. I never realized that getting her teeth cleaned can make such a difference in her happiness. Thank you Capital Vet😃

Like many others love my pets and just want the best for them and seeing that I have struggled with vets in the past, I hope this review will be helpful to others.Dr K, is probably one of the hardest working people I have ever met and you can truly see his love and passion for what he does. He has an amazing team, you can immediately tell that they all know what they are doing and that they really care. This place is a one stop shop, and they have a ton of brand new state of the art equipment. Its technically an animal hospital, so they can do pretty much most things in house so you wont need to constantly be referred elsewhere or wait ages for test results. For all that, I find it amazing that things dont cost you an arm and a leg, and the best thing of all is that they dont have the culture of always trying to upsell you on everything, which other vets have definitely done and still do on a daily basis.They have wellness plans that are really amazing, for a small monthly fee, you get unlimited visits and a whole bunch of other things. They also have grooming and boarding facilities, and you can even buy your food there if you really want to make it your pets one stop shop. My pups love going there and I wont be taking them elsewhere.To the staff I want to say, thanks for the hard work, long hours and love you give my besties and for not trying to rip me off like others have done in the past. You guys are amazing!

Dr. Saladino here is a true gem!! You can tell how much she truly loves animals and your pets. She wasn’t your typical cold vet who barely pets your animal and she and this clinic are such a breathe of fresh air to the sometimes stuffiness of Raleigh. She was extremely thorough with my senior dog and talked to me about ways to keep her happy and healthy. Not to mention this place has the best pricing of anywhere in there area!!! I have told countless friends of mine and they’ve all been super impressed with the pricing and care they’ve received from Dr. Saladino. If you are in the Raleigh area or surrounding, I highly recommend Dr. Saladino and her team!

I got a new puppy and he is my very first dog, I was so lost on which vet to go to where they wont charge crazy overpriced services. I called just a couple minutes before they closed (@ 8pm- which is extremely convenient) and a lady picked up i wish i knew her name but she sat on the phone with me for 15 minutes giving me info about what she recommends for my puppy, the prices were reasonable and best of all the first exam was free! Wonderful customer service, they seem to really care about you and your pet.

Best diagnostic technology in Raleigh and Wake Forest area period. Dont forget to ask for a hospital tour. Dr. Saladino and Dr. K are the best. Extended hours and 7 days is a plus. Cheaper than any of the neighboring hospitals.

Amazing doctors, great staff. They saved my pet from a near death experience. My cat ate strings and had to undergo multiple enterotomies to stay alive. their prices are the cheapest.

This location as well as the location in Cary is fantastic.Four months ago, my dog, who was truly the love of my life was diagnosed with cancer after being seen at this location. Her diagnosis and the four months after were the worst months of my life. Dr. K, Dr. Hopson, & Dr. Schill have been great. Although I dealt with Dr.K & Dr.Schill for the most part the staff has been so great about answering any questions or concerns Ive had over the phone. Dr.Hopson talked to me in her last few days and I appreciate her kindness. I dont remember her name (so sorry) but the young lady who is normally staffing the front has been great as well. She has a pitty too so that was comforting for some reason.They were even kind enough to send a card, that meant the world to me.The only slight negative is Dr.K doesnt seem to be too much of a dog person, didnt pet or say hello to my baby before getting started and it made her nervous.But sometimes when there is an emergency you have to do what needs to be done asap, so I understand.I would highly recommend this Vets office to anyone! They are even open from 7:00am-8:00pm so you can work around your schedule.

Dr.Kakarla was wonderful with our Lea Ella he also let us know that they have heart worm treatment choices such as an injection that lasts6 months or once a month chewable packs.Thank you so much Dakota for assisting doctor K with our Lea You made her feel so comfortable and safe. Colleen the groomer is outstanding she knows exactly how to groom with TLC and it shows. Not only are their prices fair but theyre available 7 days a week and they truly love what they do which means the most to me.Luke at the front desk you rock!Caitlin you took all of our Information and gave us our first appointment.Thank you for your smile over thephone. I knew I made the right choice when I spoke to you thanks again. I cant stop complimenting Capital Boulevard Animal Hospital.Everything about this place isamazing.
