Josh and Maggie at Vaco are a class act. They recruited me for a position, assisted me with the interview process, and were very helpful at ensuring that the company I was applying with would meet my salary/benefits requirements. Whats most impressive about Josh and Maggie were their response when I decided to take a position elsewhere. They were incredibly polite after I told them I was not taking the job they recruited me for and even sent a best wishes email that congratulated me on my other employment opportunity. There are very few recruiters that would be so professional in such a situation. Highly recommend!

Vaco impressed me beyond my expectations! They contacted me with many job opportunities, and I was able to find employment within a month of working with them. They went above and beyond (including working on a holiday) and their professionalism really stood out.

Attended a user group meeting here. Was nice of Vaco to open their building after hours to accommodate the meeting. Good location - easy to get in and get out.

Terrible unprofessional agency. They reassured me I wouldnt get the runaround and they would be responsive. I had left voicemails and emails and the recruiters do not give you a call back until you leave a voicemail with a Supervisor. They post job postings on Indeed as if they actually have a position available just to get you in their data base, when realistically they do not even have positions its a joke and misleading when your searching for a position. Absolute waste of time!!!

My first stop whenever a change or interim opportunity is needed. The same faces after a decade says something about the integrity and success of the local team.

I was recently contacted by Jeff Bowen and Alyssa Franco for a Project Manager role at Fujitsu.I was told the position requires relocation to North Carolina and its going to be 55$/ hour.I negotiated and verbal commitment of 60$/hour was finalized between myself and Alyssa Franco.A day later Jeff calls me and stays on the phone for more then 30 min convincing me to bring the hourly rate down to 55$/ hour and tried offering me 250/300$ commission for being a mole( actual word used by him) at a client site and finding out about other openings to place candidates.I had three interviews and all of them went great and there was an clear indication over the call by both of the managers that Ive got this position and they explain me responsibilities after the on-boarding process was completed.Same day Friday 30th after my interview I called Jeff and negotiated my rate back to 60$/hour.for which he wasnt happy at all. I told him clearly, Im letting him know before he gets final green signal from the client, because I dont want him tothink that I raise the rate at the very last minute after the contracts were drafted. Reason being I am not comfortable and I see myself underpaid for the amount of work I will be putting in over the weekends. Therefor he needs to re discuss my rate once he has the positive feedback.Jeff answers was I will talk to the client this evening after I have the feedback. Later in the evening of Friday he said the client wants me in his team and he confirmed the rate back at 60$/ hour on W2 till the time I get myself incorporated and later he switches my contract terms to 1099.Followed by Alyssa called me on Monday 3rd afternoon and gave me the start date of July 17th. I asked her to request the client, if the date could be extended to August 1st, and if not then I am up for starting by 17th or even before. I assured that she knows I am flexible. However, around 4:30 PM, I was notified by the company that I am not qualified for this position and have been dropped by the client. My calls with the all the managers lasted more then 45 minutes and went perfect and above expectations. I was highly enthusiastic to take over the new position and was ready to start on the assigned date as well. Alyssa told me I can talk to Jeff on Wednesday 5th once he is back from vacation for reasoning.Jeff calls me at 9:48 pm on Thursday 6th . He was intoxicated was misbehaving he used abusive language and threaten me. He kept on shouting at me that why did I reach out to the client. He never given me the chance to talk back and explain instead he kept saying its going to be one way communication shutup and listen This was so unprofessional, I had him on speaker and I was being insulted infront of my 10 year daughter. No one deserves to be treated this way! I have recorded his entire conversion. Jeff accepted the fact that he turn me down because of the rate, which was discussed and agreed after the last interviews. I really worked hard and prepare myself to be hired for this position and it hurts how I was scammed and been treated. I was working on another opportunity that I declined after Jeff called me on Friday and told me the client has given approval on me. On Monday Alyssa calls me and gives me start date of 17th. I asked her to request the client, if the date could be extended to August 1st, and if not then I am up for starting by 17th. However, around 4:30 PM, I was notified by her that I am not qualified for this position and client has decided to drop me. She gave me various reasons since I change my start date and debated with Jeff over the rate etc.I called the agency and Jeffs mobile phone till date with no response and then I reach out the one of the manager via linked-in and told him I can start what ever date they want me to since Jeff or Alyssa both were not reachable by calls or texts.I strongly believe this is must for me to let every one be aware of how this agency does its business and treat professionals so unprofessionally over few $.
