Went there because my laptop screen wasnt working. The guy working the front desk discussed what he thought may be the issue and explained the timing when I would hear back. Very quick and pleasant visit. Highly recommend.

These people are extremely honest and trustworthy. I brought my laptop to them fearful that it had been compromised by hackers. My wife and I had just been scammed after being phished (and I dont want to get into any of the details because its embarrassing that we were so gullible). Anyway Ctrl Alt Del ran diags and scanned the laptops databases and logs. They said that they found some anomalies, but that all in all the laptop was secure and uninfected. I picked up the laptop after only paying for the laptop diagnostics. They could have milked the situation and charged me for some generic cleanup work, but they didnt. The way that Ctrl Alt Del treated me as a customer is what makes America great!

Much much better than Best Buy.Put simply, Best Buy had me wait a week so I could reset my computer to factory settings (and if you dont want to pay the fee for them to back up your data you have to do it yourself and reschedule for a different week) and then ship it off and I was expected to get it back 3 weeks later. Instead I went here, it was a simple walk in, I explained the issue, and got my computer back good as new a week later for a reasonable price. And I didnt have to reset my computer. Ctrl Alt Del will be my go to repair shop in the future.

They correctly diagnosed and repaired my desktop. The only issue was that their supplier sent them a defective part and it had to be re-ordered, which took an extra week. Thats not necessarily their fault, but that tells me that they may not have a robust inventory of parts on hand... in this case a motherboard.... that would allow them to improve their turnaround times. Otherwise, they had a professional crew and, again, Im very happy with the repair.

I had my MacBook screen replaced. They replaced it with a very used and ugly screen. After asking them to correct this, they replaced it with the screen it had but it was also used and had a scratch on the back which I didn’t see because they put their sticker over it. There were also big issues with the data import. All in all, unprofessional and not upfront. Save yourself the hassle and wasted time and take your computer to Best Buy.

Very pleased with my laptop repair. It took awhile to get it fixed because the battery had swollen and damaged its plugin to the motherboard. Ctrl Alt Del kept working on it and eventually got it fixed without having to replace the motherboard. In addition they did a 2 week follow up to make sure it was still working correctly. That is very unusual for this type of business, and I really appreciated it. Highly recommend.

We rely so much on our computers for our clinic. I dont know what Computer Doctor is and dont care. But do yourself a favor and take your problem FIRST to Ctrl Alt Del - Falls - Raleigh, before you check your product manufacturer {e.g., HP} or Geek Squad, Best Buy, etc., specifically Ish {and probably others, but hes the only one I can personally attest to}. Best competence, speed, and price!

They charged me $40 dollars to do a diagnostic. They didnt solve anything and claim to test all the components I come and realize that they did not move anything. Everything is the same. Please dont even come to these people they will take your money and do nothing helpful.

These guys cannot be trusted and no one should ever trust them. They read customer data in computers entrusted to them and will misuse it. They have no right to download and read customer data and share confidential information they find. NEVER TRUST THESE GUYS. If you give your computer to repair, make sure it has no confidential information. They will read, copy and share it. I entrusted them with my son’s computer and they copied and misused the information they found. They had no right to do that.DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS. The police investigated your bogus report and concluded it was just that-BOGUS.

Most unprofessional place I think I’ve ever encountered. I dropped off my laptop over two weeks ago. Beyond a confirmation email, I’ve gotten nothing. I texted their number - no response. I messaged their website portal - no response. I’ve called numerous times, and got one answer: the technician assigned to my laptop had gotten sick. They refused to assign my laptop to another tech, refused to answer any of my questions, and refused to give me any time estimates. After calling all this week with no answer, i went to pick up my laptop. They’re closed indefinitely, as they are quarantining and getting tested for COVID. This information isn’t on their website, or on their company phone. There’s no one to call outside of their store number. I gave them my laptop in JUNE, and I have no idea when or if I’ll ever see it again. And if I do, I’ll have no idea if the tech “working” on it (they have yet to even run any diagnostics) tested positive for COVID while handling my laptop. Edit: A full month later, I got my laptop back. Its ruined. Explorere.exe doesnt work, task manager, regedit, nothing.

After having a terrible experience at another repair shop who is an authorized Apple Service provider I found Computer Repair Doctor and they totally exceeded my expectations! I took my 2009 Macbook Pro in that had a cracked screen and loose hinges on the A1286 Unibody assembly. My computer was diagnosed by DJ who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring. He listening to all of my concerns about the experience at the other repair shop and remained professional and offered a quick and reliable solution for this repair. He checked my computer in, replaced the screen and tightened the hinges all within a 5 hour turnaround! I was told by the other company that they could not do the repair because the parts could not be found and if they could it would have been twice the cost. Because of the great service I will be taking in 2 more newer Macbook Pros for upgrades next week! Thank you for getting me out of a tough situation!

Brought by macbook pro in to have the battery and one of the speakers replaced. they diagnosed the problem and had me up and running in no time. would def recommend them and would take my computers back to them for service.

Computer repair was done well, but there was a lack of communication. I dropped off my laptop on 10/26, and was told it should be fixed by 10/30. I received two text messages on 10/31 (1 to say that my repair was done, and a 2nd to say the prior text was sent to the wrong ticket number). I texted back asking for clarification 11/3, with no response. I called in on 11/4, and was advised THEN, that the screen replacement had come in damaged, and they expected repair to be done on 11/6. I received another text on 11/7 to advise me that my laptop was ready for repair. At no time, did anyone call me to advise of the delay, that the replacement screen arrived damage, or to provide any updates. When I picked up my laptop, and let my concern be known, I was told that there was probably a problem in the back end. I also found that the QR code on the front counter, for lodging complaints, was to a parent company in Shreveport Louisiana. The repair was fine, and the cost matched the estimate, but more communication with customers would be needed to up my review.

I took a laptop here that the display was only very faintly working on. After the initial $40 diagnostic they said the motherboard needed replaced. That didn’t sit well with me so I took the laptop to get a second opinion and it turns out the only issue was the monitor cable was loose. They said the factory tape / seal was still on when accessing the cable, which means it was never even checked.

Grossly overpriced if you built your own PC. They kept my newly built PC for a week without any updates and wanted me to pay $315 to replace an $80 motherboard. Replaced it myself and when my PC still wouldnt boot up, took it to another place where the technician discovered the power button for my case was faulty (which no one here mentioned) and sorted me out in the span of 2 or so hours. Im sure these guys are great with most other computer issues and staff was upfront when I asked them questions but I feel like they didnt even properly look at my computer, and that price tag was insane.

I rarely ever go out of my way to write a bad review, but really, dont ever take your computer here. I elected not to get my laptop repaired because of the expense and was still charged for the diagnostic even though the website says its free. The company is under new ownership and has changed their name to Ctrl Alt Del, but despite it being two months since the change, they still falsely advertise under the name Computer Repair Doctor. The manager blamed their staff for not being clear about the change and would not honor the advertised price.

I did a Windows 10 reset on my Dell PC and when it came back up I had a maddening ghost cursor issue which I did everything I could to get rid of, including a live chat with a Microsoft tech rep - Not even sure if it was a human I was interacting with but they were completely worthless as everything they suggested I had already tried and Im not sure they even understood the problem - Even though it was their product that had the issue I think they thought I was the problem.....Anyway after 2 weeks of utter frustration I went to the FON location and not only did Connor understand my problem (so nice when they get it!) he also correctly diagnosed it and had fixed it within 10 minutes! Not going to tell you what the cost was because I dont him to get in trouble but suffice to it was WAY less than I expected. If I had taken it to the Geek Squad at BB where I bought it they would charged $75 min just to LOOK at it and then sent it to MS for 2 weeks with no guarantee that it would be fixed when it came back.Needless to say I am a VERY happy camper and as I told Connor, a customer for life.

I brought in a laptop in which I spilled coffee. The next day I brought in an iPad with a cracked screen. The only communication initiated by the business were to email me the initial invoices. I had to call to determine the status of each. Both were ready when I called, so who knows when the work was completed. When I picked up the iPad, I was told the laptop would take several more days to complete as it needed ultrasound cleaning for liquid damage for $300-500 (when I dropped it off I was told $200-400). Today I was told there was no liquid damage and that there was no charge beyond the $40 diagnostic fee. When I called today, I was put on hold twice as the person tried to figure out what was going on. When I arrived just now to pick up my laptop, another person couldn’t find it in their system and spent several minutes looking for it. He also was rude. I read great reviews. They were inaccurate. When I came in the first time, I heard an employee say the business has changed ownership. My experience is that’s a bad sign.

Second visit- never cease to amaze me. Got new battery for my iPhone and took no time at all. Fair prices and very knowledgeable on everything I ask. Not afraid to recommend product outside of what they sell.First visit- very good service. came to get usb ports checked and they made sure everything worked properly. very good knowledge of computers and were able to check the one thing i did not. highly recommend anyone with tech problems to visit this company. very fair and fast.

Left my new laptop and old laptop for data transfer. There appeared to be some confusion on the day of pickup and when I got home took me a few minutes to realize that the new computer did not belong to me and actually belong to someone at computer repair. Also I discovered my old laptop that had worked fine before now would not open the windows pane. I returned the laptop to computer repair and was told that my computer had a virus and only repair available was to install new hard drive for $450. After a few days looking online I called microsoft and they were able to remove and reinstall new windows and computer works fine now. Will not be taking my computer to this company for any future repairs.

Very responsive and fast. Did a great job. Even gave me something for free because they didnt catch it in their initial diagnosis and estimate. Communicated with me throughout the process to let me know when it would be ready. Gave very courteous service upon pickup. Prices were very competitive. I would definitely go back.

Came in to get my computer looked at and they diagnosed it for free, on the spot. DJ let me know that the hard drive was just about dead. So all I did was get my data transferred to my personal external hard drive. DJ was very helpful, explaining my options fully. Then when I came to pick up my computer, David cashed me out and again, offered clear explanations and advice on fixing my old computer. Everyone was very helpful to make a pleasant, easy experience. I highly recommend and will come back if needed.

Just visited the Falls Village Store where Cory literally saved my life. I am a Wake County teacher who really needs her computer and my Windows Word had frozen to the point that I couldnt work at all. Cory took one look, worked his magic and restored my computer. By far the best repair service in the area. The wait time is next to nothing, staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you have an I-phone, Mac, DO NOT GO TO APPLE. My phone battery started short circuiting about a few days ago and I had to find a place to replace the battery. Going to the apple store is an option but if it doesnt fall under a warranty the fix could be expensive and take a while. After some online research I came across Computer Repair Doctor.. If youre looking for a place that had great service and amazing prices look no further! I scheduled an appointment online the day before (where you also get a discount by booking there instead of a walk in!) and went in the next day. While the process online said it would take up to 45 minutes, I was out of there within 20. The person who fixed my phone did a great job, was super friendly and overall it was a 10/10 experience. Will be coming back if I ever face issues with my phone or computer again, this place is unbeatable!

I went to Computer Repair Doctor on Falls today, in hopes they could save my phone. The guys here were helpful and had great communication. Told me what needed to be done and how long it would take, given I walked in at 3:30 I was surprised to have been helped and on my way in an hours time. If I have anymore issues on phones or my computer I will be back. Highly recommend if your in need.

I was having connectivity problems and my machine needed to be cleaned. They determined the problem was not my computer (I later determined it was my range extended), and then cleaned my machine for NO CHARGE. Went in two weeks later and they almost couldnt find my laptop and hadnt even ordered the part. They apologized and said they would put a rush on it. Another two weeks went by and the same scenario occured. Nothing had been done. Apology again.Took my laptop and left.

I run most of my small business on my computer and phone. When my computer completely locked up and wouldnt boot, they determined within seconds that the hard drive was shot and needed to be replaced. By that afternoon I had a new hard drive with all my data properly migrated and now its working better than when I pulled it out of the box. They did a great job.

I had the glass and LCD of an iPhone 6 plus replaced. I was able to use a Groupon discount and was finished in less then an hour. The staff was very professional and courteous! It was the easiest and best experience I could of asked for... GPS made it a tad hard to find but I called the number and was in the correct shopping center and they directed me there! Previously had good experiences but the most recent one has turned me off to this place. I brought my laptop to them to repair a broken hinge, they had to order a replacement part and said it would arrive in a week, I heard nothing for three weeks and when I called back they said the order for the replacement part had been cancelled. And they apparently did not think I would care to know that. :( I recommend this place only for on-the-spot fixes, dont trust them to order anything for you.

Great service today. Had a very small window for repair time and DJ was friendly and efficient and now I’m back at work leaving this review with my newly repaired phone screen. Highly recommend.

I came in to simply diagnosis an issue with my computer. Said it would take 48 hours to figure it out. Took 4 days. No big deal. When they called me, they tried to upsell me the repair as well, (faulty motherboard) and to get a completely new motherboard and new ram since the current ram was obsolete. Again, not a big deal despite that I told them I only wanted a diagnosis and can handle replacing the parts. The guy on the phone was incredibly bummed about this and told me I can pick it up at anytime.The part that deserves the two star review is this. When I arrived at the store to pick it up, I asked the clerk a technical question, which led into a very bizarre and confrontational discussion about whether or not the hibernation data disappears when you disconnect a hard drive. Given that data written to a hard drive is non-volatile, the data needed to restore that Windows session from hibernation should still be there. He insisted that it wasnt and that power is required to keep that data there and when I disagreed with, he completely dismissed me, even though he couldnt explain why the data would simply disappear from a hard drive. Eventually another clerk came by and I explained the question to him and the first clerk seemed to pretend that the 2nd clerk is saying what he originally said, even though the 2nd clerk confirmed what I said and that the data is still there. Very strange. I left it at that, paid and left. I dont think Ill be coming back.

The Staff at Computer Repair Doctor on Falls of the Neuse in Raleigh, have been Awesome !! From a hard Drive crash /data recovery and replacement, to remote access computer trouble shooting and phone support. Their expertise and customer satisfaction focus has made my life much easier. When I have a computer issue, I call them, they log in remotely and then (NO MORE ISSUE!). I have found their fees to be Fair and their advice straight forward and Honest !

Normally I would try to fix my computer myself but I had no luck and couldnt figure out what to do. Hesitantly, I brought it in to this shop but was met with great customer service and an impressively fast repair. By far one of the easiest things and best experiences Ive encountered with any form of repair shop. It was good enough to make me actually come on here and review it, which actually says a great deal (all good things) about this place.

DJ was awesome. Very pleasant while juggling several clients at one time. Great asset to your company.
