Absolutely Amazing!!! Alex from Specialized Refinishing was fantastic. He took great care covering everything and sealing off the bathrooms when cleaning and refinishing our two tubs. He insured no paint got anywhere and cleaned up after himself. Our tubs looks brand new! The master bathroom had little holes in the base and he fixed it right up! You’d never know there was ever an issue! I 100% recommend them especially if you’re doing a bathroom update on a budget!

Hermes did a tremendous job, clean, efficient, and the staff was incredibly responsive and flexible. Our 40 year old cast-iron enamel tub looks bright and brand new. Definitely will be using Specialized again for our other bathroom.

I contacted them through their website and a friendly representative contacted me through text immediately with all the information I needed, and scheduled the service within days. The technician, Hermes, was knowledgeable and professional, and most importantly he did an amazing job! The tub looks beautiful and is now a centerpiece of the bathroom; makes me want to do the other one. We needed our tub/shower insert refinished. Called on a Friday, they scheduled for 8am the following Monday. Hermes came, and walked us through exactly what he was going to do. Quality job. The shower floor had a crack and was giving way. They injected support, sealed the entire floor, nice new look with no sign of the crack.

Me and my wifes shower had a crack in it that led to a serious leak from our master bath into the ceiling of our kitchen. Our contractor that is working on all other major issues suggested specialized refinishing to help the process. Not only did Hermes come to do great work but it looks like it never happened. My tiles were refinished by Hermes today. He did a wonderful job. My tiles look new and beautiful. They covered up some ugly fruit tiles that were there already when we purchased the home. Now my tiles look clean and fresh. The cost and convenience of having my tiles refinished versus getting all new tiles is phenomenal. Not only did Hermes do a great job, he was polite, respectful and super careful with the job and safety standards; he wore his mask at all times and he cleaned everything up very nicely. BLUF: Overall, we are ELATED with the results, the professionalism of the company and how painless it was to schedule and then pay online securely.Details...I contacted Specialized Refinishing by email and submitted photos after dropping a stone from a potted plant into our porcelain main bath sink. The heavy rock cracked the sink in 4 places each 7-9 long radiating out from the impact point. Good news was it did not break thru completely. At first I looked at replacing the sink but this model is no longer made and with counter literally fitted to the sinks unique shape, I though we were in for a major bath remodel.Luckily, after searching for possible other options, I found Specialized Refinishings well done web site. After reading many positive reviews, I took photos of the damages (white is hard to photograph) and emailed them for evaluation. The next afternoon, we spoke on the phone. The young lady thought the damages could be repaired. Since I was already in the dog house with the wife, we immediately decided to try this repair option!The young gentleman arrived on time first thing one morning a few days later - exactly when they said they would per advanced text notice.Oh, it is important that you do not continue to use the item to be repaired to give the area a chance to dry out thoroughly. I had taped off the faucet so we would not forget.The person doing the repairs also inspected the damage closely and agreed he could repair it for the fee as quoted on the phone because they did not need to use fiberglass reinforcements. I authorized the repairs and about 1 - 1.5 hours later, he completed the repairs. We were told not to use the sink for 48 hours but we let it sit 72 hours just to be sure. Once we were able to put a good strong light on it and get up close, we can just barely discern where the the radiating cracks were and thats only because there are so many shades of white. It is difficult to match any color perfectly and we knew that going in. In fact, youd have to know the sink had been repaired to probably even notice.Thanks so much. Im no longer in the dog house!

Great experience with Specialized Refinishing of Raleigh. Repairs were completed on the existing fiberglass tub which was pitted and patched with various patch kits. I was afraid I would need to replace the entire garden tub, however, Specialized Refinishing was able to restore the tub to showroom new. The technician was fantastic and followed all safety procedures, wore a mask, and was socially distant. I am beyond pleased with the refinishing job and am thrilled to endorse their services. I have a vintage clawfoot tub that was badly in need of reglazing. After I sent pictures of my tub, Nicole was able to quote an exceptionally reasonable price and schedule the reglazing to happen within 48 hours (it would have been 24 but I asked for a little more time). Bladimir arrived promptly. He was very professional and did a great job with everything! He and Nicole made dealing with the eyesore that was our tub hassle-free and mess free and its such a relief to see the tub looking brand new again! My shower pan had a long crack and was in need of repair or replacement. I did a Google search to identify potential companies in the area that do work on shower pans. I made a list of four companies and called each of them. My conversation with Specialized Refinishing Co. stood out due to their professionalism over the phone and the speed in which they could have someone come out to take a look at the issue.Miguel arrived on time/as scheduled and was able to quickly assess the issue and determined that it could be repaired. He progressed the repair in a timely and efficient manner. He was very professional and ensured that he handled everything appropriately to not leave a big mess in my bathroom.Somehow, while he was refinishing the repaired area, water from the shower head got released and damaged the refinishing. I was very disappointed as Miguel could not tend to the water damaged area right away. I would now have to wait until after a couple days when it sets before the water damage could be fixed. I went ahead and paid the full amount of my bill before Miguel left.I was asked to contact the company by phone to schedule a time when they could come back out to take care of the water damaged area. I called, left messages, sent emails, and text messages but did not receive a response back for a couple days. When I finally got someone to give me a call, they were not able to work me into the schedule until a week later. I was not happy about that. In fact, I wished that I had only paid half of the bill and then pay the other half once they returned to finish the job. I felt that would have probably expedited the completion of my repair.In any event, Miguel was sent back out a week later to fix the water damage to complete my repair. He did not arrive as scheduled due to an unforeseen issue at his previous job; however, I was impressed that he still pushed his way and came at a later time to ensure that my job got completed that day.After Miguel got finished with the complete repair, I was very happy to see the results. My shower pan looked brand new and feels stable. Miguel did an absolutely fantastic job getting everything done professionally and aesthetically pleasing.I am very happy with their work. I would have given this review 5 stars if it were not for the hiccup I encountered in trying to get the rescheduling completed in a timely fashion.Kudos to Miguel for a job well done and ensuring that I remain a happy customer.
