They called the day before with an arrival window.2 people showed up right on time and did the tear out of the old and installed new carpet throughout.Came out great, I couldnt even find an imperfection. Even left an extra piece for me.Would recommend 100%

We purchased carpet from the Knightdale Home Depot and Romanoff Renovations installed. Their team reached out same day to schedule the installation and arrived early the morning of the installation. The crew was very professional and worked very quickly to remove and install carpet on the entire second floor of my home. I am very impressed and would use them again.

I had a wonderful experience with Romanoff! I purchased through Home Depot and Romanoff made the process so easy. They quickly got me booked for their 1st available day. When my original installer called out sick, they called me at 8am and told me they had already found a replacement and he would be there as soon as he could. My installer was Juan and he was the best I could have asked for- he was so helpful and answered all of my questions. I could tell he really cared about the quality of his work. He stayed late to make sure everything was done that day and cleaned everything up before he left. He did a wonderful job!! I’ll definitely ask for him when I have floors installed in the remainder of the house.

The Romanoff team (Ray, Bob and Richard) installed new kitchen flooring. They were very efficient, hardworking and nice! I liked them so much, I name requested them for my next job: carpet replacement.. I am so glad I used Home Depot services, and their installation service, Romanoff. Both were very helpful and provided good guidance in preparation for the job.

Communication was spot on! Installer showed up on time, went right to work removing existing carpet and installing new LVP. He worked very quickly and with great care & professionalism.

Good service...The installers worked hard and installed over 2,000 square feet of carpet in about 6-7 hours. They walked me through the house afterwards to insure that we were satisfied. These guys were professional and the work itself was top notch.

Called several times before installation to go over the process and expectations. Installer called prior to arrival and were very professional and accommodating. Finished about the time they said they would. The whole process turned out better than my expectations. Very pleased.

Absolutely terrible job. Two of the three crew left before the job was complete to work on other jobs. That meant there was always someone at the house for 14 hours for 3 days in what was supposed to be a max 2 day job. Quarter round installation was sloppy and not aligned with several corners and walls. Crown molding was torn up and I will have to replace that, but I will definitely use a different contractor because I dont want these guys back in my house. District manager was disappointed with the rating I gave Home Depot, so he called and left a voicemail. After I left him one, he never bothered calling back. He is more interested in checking the box than following up with his customers.

Romanoff exceeded my expectations as I was a little skeptical at first looking at some of the reviews but my installer Eric was great. He was on time and performed quality service. I had my entire downstairs installed with new laminate flooring and he completed the job in 2 days. My floors look so good and I would def use them again. I’m one happy camper 😀

The Romanoff installers were excellent. The 2 man crew was very professional and friendly. We had requested that we were given the opportunity to screw down some squeaky floor boards when the old carpet and pad was pulled up. The installers gave us more than enough time to accomplish this task. We are extremely satisfied with our new carpet and the install process.

Outstanding job. The installers arrived about 9:30 am after calling and telling me they were on the way. They were very polite and friendly. About 1;00 pm I asked if they were going to lunch and they told me “we ate before we came”. They worked until 8:00 pm that night. Didn’t stop, worked hard and did excellent work. Very skilled at floor installation. Came back the next morning, they called to say they were on the way, and was done before noon. A full day ahead of schedule. This is the second time I used romanoff, the first was for carpet in Atlanta and now wood floor installation in raleigh. Great job both times. Highly recommend them.

Ruben, my installer was on time and courteous, the installation was completely painless on my end since all I had to do was stay out of the way. Ruben got the old carpet out and the new carpet in, all while keeping the rest of the house clean. So far after 2 weeks the carpet is holding up perfectly and I cant find the seams in the carpet for the life of me!

Purchased carpet for the second floor of our new home from Home Depot. Prior, we had Empire give us an estimate of 5K with a 2K discount if we would promote them to others and with a sign in the front yard. No, thank you! The independent salesman took almost 2 hours to measure the place and did not provide a different range of carpet pricing and quality.At Home Depot, the flooring we chose, including the removal of the old carpet and installation of the new one, came out just under 2K. The process was flawless with Home Depot. It took the measuring technician only 30 minutes to complete his task. We were called a couple days later with an estimate. We set a date and the craftsmen of Romanoff Renovations completed the carpet installation within 4 hours. The carpet looks and feels wonderful. Great attention to detail. Everyone in the process was professional and communicative.

We ordered from Home Depot to replace three levels of stair carpeting. We chose one with a pattern design which Ruben, our installer matched perfectly. He was very professional and we couldn’t even tell he’d been there except for our new carpet! We love how it turned out and will use them again!

Romanoff installed carpet purchased through HD. One bedroom and a closet. Measurement and installer were on time as advertised and installation was completed in a couple hours on the appointed day and looks great. I had already cleared out the room so they had no furniture to move or old carpet to discard. Romanoff has a contract with HD; they use local subs, so depends on who you get I guess. Mine was Allen Davis; he was excellent.

We had our backsplash installed last week. It looks great. Hugo was incredibly professional, accurate, tidy, and quick. We could not be happier. He answered all of my questions and did an amazing job.

We paid Romanoff to have their guys come and measure a project for us. Not only did it take them almost 3 months of begging for our estimate to be totaled so we could budget for the project - but they finally got back to us after 3 home visits, 27+ phone calls and said the project was a whopping $6,000+. It’s literally such a simple project and materials were only $1,300. They wanted to charge us $4,700 to install a panel on our wall. Are you serious? Zero dialogue, zero guidance and it was the biggest waste of time I’ve ever dealt with.This company doesn’t care whatsoever about their customers. The nightmare I went thru for them to price gouge me is downright duping. I ended up doing the project, by myself with a couple of buddies for $1,300. $6,000 for such a small project is a joke and to say $4,700 worth of labor is needed for 200 square feet is a joke.Avoid this company. They speak from two sides of their mouths. And there’s such a miscommunication from all areas I wish I hadn’t trusted them with our project.

Avoid at all cost. I never write negative reviews, but I want to save others from the heartache, frustration and time lost. The supervisor Jason and Manager Mr. Lee will not call you back when there is a problem. The very nice customer care person who answers the phone will try to help, but has no authority to make management respond. After several attempts to learn more and move forward by Home Depot and myself the project was canceled by the company. I had scheduled to have a simple 19 year old tile floor removed and retiled. The installers showed up, looked at everything, went to the drive for 20 minutes and came back to say he is not being paid enough and has to pass on the work. I had two other tile companies come the next day for estimates and they both said ‘no problem.’ Romanoff had a full month before the install to look at the site again after the estimator. The floor had perfect tile in place that was laid 19 years prior. The floor was in perfect condition. I was charged $1000’s of dollars for the project four full weeks before the install date. Romanoff walked off site over a week ago and still no refund. Beware!

Romanoff Renovations installed my new carpet that I purchased at Home Depot. The insulation was done exactly when I was told it would be. The installers were friendly and very professional. They answered all my questions and did a great job.

The work was excellent and the preparation/planning before installation day was easy and helpful.

They did a great job removing and installing carpet through home depot. They were fast, polite, and the carpet turned out great. They scratched the paint on the wall very slightly where our stairs turn, but I expected that.We DID have two issues with how Home Depot handled it, but not Romanoff. If you get carpet through Home Depot, I recommend you ask to look at the lay out, where the seams will be. They do it the most effiecient way possible, but the seams might be put in an awkward place (middle of the hallway). That is something that needs to be changed several days before, if you want it.

The crew that came out the second time was outstanding and did a fantastic job. I am thinking about doing my kitchen next

Its not a DIY at this price. Earn your money doing your own job and pay them to do a great carpeting job in an hour or two.

Any construction related project can have 100 things possibly go wrong....timing, product, human interaction........my experience was a 100% positive experience.

1/5. Avoid at all costs. I paid $12K for just a show/tub to full shower conversion. For what I paid and how long it took I wouldve expected at least a tiled floor as well. Do not use The Home Depot or Romanoff. DIY it if you can. Sure, it may take way longer but at least you can do it on your own terms for way less. They already got me don’t let them get you too. Paid too much, took too long, had too many broken promises and missed deadlines. Avoid.

THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT?? My pops spent a lot of money with them!.. with all the SCREW UPS... and too be nice, DO NOT HIRE THRU HOME DEPOT!! One more thing, the Virginia contractor that lay flooring is NOT WORTH 2 rats in a wool sock VERY disrespectful Response to owner.. Why? So you can screw my pops more?

What does it take to get a real person on the phone at Romanoff in Raleigh? I have a pending order for tile flooring installation, and I got a weird email request to sign a document for work thats not included in what I need done. I replied to the email and asked for the sender, Amy Keller, to call me, and she hasnt. I tried to call your number and got put on hold for a really long time (listened to the same Elton John song multiple times til I gave up). Ive now asked for a call back, but nothing yet. This shouldnt be this hard. Any advice??
