I called about getting a headboard done for my extra bedroom. I was told about the new fabric location in Wake-forest. I drove their and was in Awe of the beautiful fabric. I choose slate grey. ( grey is my favorite color) they had multiple selections. I was helped by a nice gentleman. The owner picked up the fabric and took it to Raleigh so they could make my headboard. It turned out beautiful. They were fast, professional. They also had great delivery workers. Wore their mask and shoe coverings which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend them. 5star service

AFC Upholstery did a beautiful job reupholstering a couch that I have had for over 20 years. I love my 96 inch couch and knew that I wouldnt be able to find one that I like as much so I reached out to AFC in hopes that they could make it look like new. They were responsive and super helpful from the beginning in terms of finding fabric, quoting a price and doing the job. The couch was delivered today and it looks like new! I highly recommend them!

I initially gave AFC a bad review because of some poor workmanship in repairing a chair. However, they really came through for me. They were able to fix the chair and in less time than they initially quoted. Except for that one minor issue, everything else was great. My wife was going to donate some bar stools and a storage ottoman which had vinyl dropping off in strips and disintegrating to the touch. On the road she saw an AFC Upholstery truck and instead decided to drop by their shop. Their shop has multiple rows of fabric on site so she did it all at once: picked fabrics, was given a quote on site, paid half up front, was told theyd be done by a certain date, and was out of there in 30 minutes, most of which time was spent browsing fabrics. The furniture was done by the quoted date, was wrapped in protective plastic, looked fabulous. The stools were in a rich purple tweed and the storage ottoman in a bright cheerful sea foam green with double stitched tufted detailing which looked great! By reupholstering the stools, we saved 50% on what they would have cost new. We would definitely recommend this place to salvage your quality furniture and cushions.

I had visited this place once before and was given an outrageous quote on having a sofa reupholstered but I guess I see why now. I stopped in a few weeks ago and spoke to the same man I spoke to a few years ago about my sofa. He quoted me roughly $225 a chair to have them done in a week. A week turned into two weeks but the results were much better than what I expected. I also am a very hard person to please but I think I am pretty pleased with this turnout. I highly recommend.

Confused.... After having two excellent experiences in the past with AFC upholstery, there was no doubt as to who to take my recent project to. However my most recent experience turned in to a fiasco. There were 2 parts to this project, both of which were not competed on the time frame agreed upon which, in turn, cause me to miss my clients deadline as well. Communication was a major factor. I had given instructions and showed pictures to Marc as to what was needed and the piece I built to be covered was very clearly marked with details. multiple trips were made back in forth to their shop to pickup partially completed orders and to try and relay the instructions again to Beverly, who in my opinion, did not have the ability to understand the instructions that she needed to relay to the shop. After finally being called to pick up 2nd part of order, I show up to find it had still been done incorrectly. It would have been a relatively easy fix and I was willing to give them that opertunity for the next day. However, on my way out the door again, Beverly made the comment to me, youre gonna go broke with this project!, at which point I had had enough and left their premises. Not only did I have a bad experience with the getting the work done, It caused me to miss a deadline with my customer, and Beverly tried to put the blame back on me and then tell me I am going to go broke in the process..... Doesnt sit well on my view of cood customer relations.. Very sadly disappointed..........

AFC did fabulous work replacing the leather headrest on a Bradington and Young recliner. He was relentless in searching for leather to match. I am so impressed. And he kept me informed about the search for leather. His price was extremely reasonable. Free pickup and delivery was wonderful.

Extremely happy with how my couch cushion turned out. AFC had to recreate my cushion using the cushion from the opposite side of the couch. They did a wonderful job matching the color. Was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship of AFC. Mark, the owner, helped me resolve an issue with some of the cushions that I had been having. He made some great suggestions that we took and have been happy with the Sunbrella fabric we bought from AFC.In addition, they have all bolts of fabric at about $5.95 a yard. There are many colors and styles to choose from. I recommend them and will use them again.

In a time where people just try to push a product out the door as quick as possible, its rare to find someone or a place that delivers such exceptional quality. Mark was the person I dealt with in my custom project. I had found a picture of a custom seat for my Harley Street Glide. AFC Upholstery has just completed upholstering a recently purchased loveseat off Craiglist. AFC Upholstery successfully rebuilt, seat framing support structure, and seat support suspension. Also, installed new bottom seat cushion (padding) on both sides of loveseat. I am very satisfied with work AFC Upholstery have done on my loveseat. The loveseat seats very comfortable and with great supporting structure.

I happen stance came across AFC Upholstery coming through Yonkers Rd on my way to the ReStore off of Hwy 440. You know how you are kind of browsing in the Restore and well I came across a wonderful find on a sofa that needed a little love so I remembered seeing the flags that were waving at me from the entrance SALE $7.99 a yard fabric of course. Anyway, I hurriedly paid for my sofa and then went to AFC Upholstery where I encountered a wonderful women Ms. King I believe that was her name,. I told her about my treasure and how I wanted to make sure it would be an ebb to the flow of the furniture piece I had at home. She waited for me to find something that I thought would make my sofa fabulous, she told me about the pick up and delivery service, gave me exact pricing, and I was on my way after a small deposit of course. The delivery was on point to say the least. The two gentleman that delivered the newly loved sofa were extremely professional and friendly. I couldnt ask for a better place to look for upholstery needs.

The quality when you get it is very good. But will take a long time. I had cushions made that were delayed three times and was promised to ship to a customer. After they we done and two weeks of waiting To be shipped and asking for tracking numbers they finally say we don’t ship but we are going to make an exception this time. When I said I can come pick them up and they said hey we will ship them for you because we took so long. If you have the patience to wait five or six weeks or longer then the quality is good.

I called AFC Upholstery with a request that was rather unique. I spoke with Mark and told him I needed to get my footrest on my wheelchair recovered because both had ripped from wear and tear. I sent him pictures of what they looked like and he assured me it would be an easy fix. When I took the footrest in, Mark explained what his plan was and showed me the materials he was going to use. He completely recovered the footrest and they look even better than when I first got the chair! AFC reupholstered my grandmothers favorite chair. They literally took it down to the bones, replacing all of the padding, foam, fabric, everything. I had considered taking the chair to the dump it was in such bad shape, but I sent them a picture and they said they could take care of it for me. I picked it up yesterday and it was beautiful! I am so glad I let them bring this family heirloom back to life! It brought tears to my eyes. I took my 1990s cant give it up sofa sleeper to AFC and was totally impressed with the excellence or workmanship. There was a nice selection of fabric inside the establishment that was available for $10 per yard, and there was more to choose from the many books in the store as well (not for $10/yard) They came and picked up our sofa and 5 weeks later delivered it. The delivery men were great!!! I will use them in the future and recommend them easily!

I had a sail that needed stitching at the head through two straps one on each each side of the sail plus through the sail. Olga checked with the upholster about thread availability and whether their machine could handle the thickness. The answer was yes. Rather than having a small job to schedule they did it right there and then and I was out in ten minutes. Pleasant experience at a fair price.

We recently sent out two seat backs for our leather couch to AFC . The couch is only about 4 years old, but the manufacturer used vinyl on the side panels between the seats, and it has been cracking more and more over time. When reclined, the cracks can rub skin and are very annoying. We had AFC take the seat backs and replace those vinyl parts with leather -- and we trusted them to match the material as close as possible to the original, figuring even if its not perfect, most of the time it wouldnt be visible. We absolutely could not be more pleased with the result! They got an excellent match and did a very meticulous job sewing in the new leather. While the repair did take a while, it was WELL worth the wait. They also made it super convenient to have this repair done, since they sent a truck to pick up the pieces and deliver them back to us. We would absolutely use them again in the future.
