I had Toxic Customs do a full build for me on my 72 Camaro and I couldnt be happier with the end product. Value for me is a balance of cost and quality. Rarely is the cheapest option a good value and just as rarely is the most expensive option a good value. I know I could have found shops that would have charged me less but I would have ended up with half the car I got. You do get what you pay for in this regards. I also know I could have spent much more somewhere else but honestly I dont think the quality or end product would be any better. That means all that extra money would have been a waste. The guys at Toxic Customs built me an incredible car that is truly a great value. They are the only shop that will ever build for me from now on. The one drawback to using Toxic Customs is that getting gas for my car cant be done in less than 30 min. Thats because whenever I stop for gas someone comes up and wants to talk about the car and take pictures of it. So, if you use them budget more time for fuel stops. :)
Spent $900 powder coating motorcycle parts. There was an extensive delay on the turn around time. The pieces haven’t even been on the motorcycle a year and pieces are chipping off. I have removed the pieces and taken them to another powder coater. Looking at it, none of the pieces were prepped before hand. Don’t waste your time or money. Take it to someone else.
I wanted to change the paint scheme on my ‘01 FXSTS. Mike and his team were great!! Mike helped with choosing the paint and the detail is amazing! I would recommend them for any work on H-D bikes. Even with COVID-19 issues, the work delays were explained and the work was awesome!!
Really great work done in a timely manner.
Exceptional work and super easy to deal with. Highly recommended!
Fantastic. I gave them a major project and the paint is beautiful and they repaired everything on my 1999 Road Star. I did not know they also repair but my bike is like new. They were professional, competent, and told me the truth about what was needed. No bull. Very solid. I will bring all future work here.
Very good shop
Such an amazing experience using this company!!! I am in a wheelchair and I came in with a pretty radical idea to modify my off road Jeep and these guys went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed to get the job done. Much respect to Michael the owner for being a hard working and being a family owned business. I would recommend Toxic Customs every day of the week!!
Great work and great prices. I was able to take my bike there and get it back a thousand time better than I expected with all the work they were doing. Michael was great. He would let me pick the parts and then he would give his opinion.
Mike has worked on 2 of my rides over the years. He has always been straight forward with me. He also takes the time to research different avenues and find the best solution to your custom needs. Even in a pinch, I had a major deadline to meet and Mike came in on Xmas eve and the day after Xmas to get the job done even though his shop was closed! You dont find that in mechanics anymore, truly looking out for the best interest of his customers...no matter what.! Thanks again Mike!
Not my first time going to Toxic Customs, been going here for a while now and I could not ask for a better experience. Mike is a perfectionist and gets everything done in a timely manner. The last time I went here I asked for a custom paint job, it turned out perfect and done before the date they told me it would be done.
Toxic Customs is a great shop. Michael and his team have done 2 custom welding/fabrication jobs for my motorcycles. Always pleased with the final product.
Michael and the crew at Toxic Customs provided quality and timely service. I had issues with the parts I provided, and they aided me in resolving my issues by equipping me with parts priced within my budget. I couldnt be happier with the end result. My bike looks phenominal and runs smoother than it has since I bought it at the dealership. Thanks for the friendly and helpful service guys. Your customer service and quality of work have won me over absolutely. You have definitely earned a long term customer. Toxic Customs gets it right. Thanks again, guys!
I recently bought a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am (Smokey and the Bandit style). I immediately brought it to Toxic Customs to make sure the car could serve as daily driver. Myke suggested since the car was new to me that I drive it for several weeks, and create a list of performance problems I would like to address. After taking Myke’s advice I returned several weeks later with my list. I left the car with Myke and went on vacation with my family. Myke took the time to call me daily with an update on his progress. I enjoyed Myke’s calls, and actually looked forward to them. The Trans Am may be a daily driver for me, but it’s in excellent shape aesthetically, and made the drive from Tampa Bay where I bought it to NC, which was a huge plus for me. I understood the car is 40 years old, and would require immediate attention to fix deferred maintenance items. Myke was exceptional. His attention to detail was amazing. Most of all Myke took the time to set proper expectations on the car and it’s performance, and required maintenance since I was not gonna to do a full restoration. Myke encourages me to enjoy my dream car. He fixed the list of items, and let me know he would always be available for future repairs and upgrades as I wanted. Myke was not pushing sales on me, and truly had my best interest at heart. He was adamant about fixing safety concerns before anything else, got the job done, was always mindful of budget, and explained everything. After I received the car back he had me monitor some repairs and encouraged me to return if needed. I recently bright the car back for a few more tweaks and Myke graciously fit me into his busy schedule without hesitation. As long as I have this car Myke Causey and Toxic Customs will be the only place I will trust. I appreciate this company and highly recommend them. Great work, realistic expectations, phenomenal customer service!!!!
Let me say, its hard to describe the excellence in this company and the superior expertise that is compromised within its small staff. In the short time that I have dealt with this company, I have been nothing but satisfied!!! My expectations are always blown away!! These people obviously know more, and do more than the so called Professionals. Ive thrown away thousands upon thousands of dollars at the dealership and sound station and security (dont ever go there unless you want your car totally screwed up). Mike and Chad are unbelievable!!!! Everything they touch on my car turns to Gold!!!! I dont mind putting my business into a top shelf business like this because I know I can sleep at night knowing my car is in working condition, the way it is supposed to be... or, should I say, better. The car is literally better than its supposed to be. Every job is done thoroughly, and detailed. And, not to mention the appropriate research is done before jumping into any work that is to be done. I love this place and, Ill probably never take my car anywhere else unless this place goes away. Good job all around. These guys are the Pros and they work hard. They keep me happy, and in return, Ill continue to keep them happy. They arent shady like some places (sound station and security). Their prices are very fair, and they are very honest and straight forward. Ive saved a lot of money working with them, and my car couldnt perform and show it any better. I love keeping these guys on their toes, cause I go in all the time with something different, and they handle it, like its nothing! So, if anyone is looking for a place that does everything except state inspections... this is the place to go. Youll be more than happy to do business with them. Good Job Toxic Customs!
Excellent job finishing and painting fuel tank for my Sportster. Very professional. More pricey than other body shops, but well worth the money.
Toxic Customs recently painted and did some things to my 08 Street Glide. And I have to say that they exceeded my expectations. The customer service was exceptional and job that they did for me was Awesome. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Mike and the team you have working for you. I will see you again.
Our go to for Paint and Repairs. The owner is amazing
Perhaps they do a good job with fabrication and painting but they certainly cannot accurately diagnose and fix a 1948 Chevrolet truck! $600 down the drain and truck still not running. We went to pick it up two times when they said it was repaired and the first time it would not even start on their lot and the second time it quit running several hundred yards down the road. We had to have it towed back to our home.Let me add...it was simply that the carburetor needed to be cleaned out. It had nothing to do with the battery system. The truck was cutting out because gas was not able to get through the gunk. Should have been a simple thing to diagnose by Toxic Customs If Michael had listened rather than speculate and insist on things that we knew did not need to be replaced. I guess in Michael’s opinion it is also just coincidental that the two times we came to pick up the truck it did not run, yet they were able to drive it around and it ran great for them?
Toxic customs recently installed new gauges and hand made a dash for me. The dash is incredible and gauges are perfect. Did all this for and excellent price. The custom paint throughout the bike is eye-catching and outstanding.I cant say enough good things about Toxic Customs. Their whole staff is awesome! Ive had other custom shops work on my projects before. They are the only ones Ill take my projects to from now on.
Wouldnt go anywhere else for work on my bikes. I feel like I can go in there without worrying about getting robbed.Prices have been great and the guys are always helpful.
Toxic Customs personal are great people, thank you for all the help. I got my V-Rod Night Rod Special air intake cover, rear fender, front fender, and all my parts custom painted. I am very please with the results. Thank you again guys.
When Mike Says you wont be able to tell the difference between a brand new car and the repair he did, he really means it! Excellent experience with Toxic Customs, Mike went above and beyond what I asked him to do. From my experience, Toxic Customs not only gives you the best price, but most importantly the best quality work you can find in North Carolina.
Two years ago I carried my bike to Toxic Customs to have the tank on my bike molded and painted black. I was quoted $500.00 for this work, to which I agreed. Left my bike and got a call telling me he needed a deposit. He had the bike, but I told him that I would get by asap to give it. His office lady called 2 days later and demanded that I get my bike immediately. The next day snow and ice was predicted. They called again, so I told them I would come after it. Sure enough, the sleet started on the way there. He was adamant that I get it, and I did. The temp was 29 degrees and sleeting heavy. What a total moron!
Toxic Customs did a small aluminum fabrication/welding job for me. The quality of the work is outstanding!! Even though I was an impatient pest, they still fit a small job into their schedule and did a really great job. Thank you TC.
Outstanding service! Excellent prices and great employees. Work is top knotch and they will get all my custom and service work from now on.
Very professional and respectful..
Toxic Customs has worked on at least 6 bikes of mine including one ground up custom he built. This guy knows what he is doing. I recommend him to everyone who keeps having problems with their bikes and/or mechanics.BTW- I was there when Joe Shmoe brought his bike back. He said We didnt change anything. Why would he say we? He and one of his bonehead buddies had clearly taken his springer apart and reassembled it incorrectly. Shame on you Joe!
Great Honest service, and follow up work. I recommend Mike to everyone I know.
Customer Service Personified. Great group of professionals that know there way around a motorcycle.
Terrible experience! Toxic is right. He will wreck your bike. Cant be trusted. Charged to fix his mistakes then still got it wrong. DO NOT take your business there.
Awesome crew. Fast friendly service.
My husband chose Mike at Toxic Customs to customize our Victory Bagger motorcycle. Even though these guys have typically worked on Harleys and Choppers, they did not shy away from the challenge. When my husband told me that delivery week had come and we would be picking it up on saturday, I didnt realize that the final parts needed to complete the build had not arrived yet. Well, they finally showed up on friday and the crew at Toxic stayed late into the night and then came in bright and early saturday morning to put on the finishing touches in order to meet our deadline. We have dealt with custom shops in the past that were ok, but when you talk to the crew at Toxic they not only know what their talking about, they also exhibit an intense passion for everything from 2 to 4 wheels. They love what they do and it shows, that is why I would highly recommend them to any one who is looking for motorcycle or vehicle customization or repairs!
Great work and timely ! A+ powder coating!
It is my dads shop
