We really had high hopes given the reviews, but we did NOT receive a 5 star experience, which was really disappointing.We wanted to move an existing TV from our living room to our 3 season room. And then buy and mount a new TV over the fireplace. We called Brendan who came out for a consultation. The quote seemed reasonable, and he said it would take 4 hours.8 1/2 hours later, they left the job unfinished (see pics). With 3 kids, having our living room a mess was very challenging. The day started promising enough, when Rich and Anthony showed up pleasant, diligent, and competent. Anthony quickly mounting the TV in the 3 season room meeting every expectation.The crew went from two, to three...with the addition of Eric, and then to one as Rich was left alone to finish. In order to mount the new TV, they would need to cut a hole in the drywall to conceal the wires, and re-paint (with paint I provided that matched the old paint really well).My wife and I asked, as it seemed it might go beyond the four hour quote how things were going....after all, sometime projects go a bit long. We were told, its going good, were getting thereThen, 8 1/2 hours later, we were told that they would have t finish tomorrow, and Eric, who had returned said it would cost me $100 - $200 for a surcharge. When I asked why it was taking so long, Eric offered two reasons......when cutting the hole in the drywall, there were several studs. (this is true, and it was very weird to see so many studs), however, the hole didnt need to be any bigger, and when the studs were discovered, if indeed it was the kind of obstacle that would double the time necessary to finish the job.....you would think that would have been the reaction at the time. Oh, also, the wall was painted red. My reply, youve never painted a red wall before? Well, yeah, but its a really deep red and needs two coats of paint.....um, yeah. It was red when Brendan came in for the consultation.Frankly, this explanation was insulting. It was bad enough to hear this once, but then Brendan on the phone (who first assured me, the project would not cost me MORE, gee thanks), offered the same explanation.After making it clear, that I was not an idiot and that he clearly had underestimated how long it would take and did not have enough people working on it, Eric said that they would come back the next morning to finish.....as if this was doing me a tremendous favor, but of course, he had no choice.Rich, to his credit, was dedicated to a high quality job. And he did deliver. They returned the next day and completed the job.Unfortunately, I had to remind them to hookup our Direct TV and the Nintendo Switch to the TV...and even then, they did not make sure everything worked and was synched....but I did that afterwards.But I am grateful to Rich for his professionalism and hard work. The results are very good.I havent read all of the other reviews, and maybe if the project is really straightforward....with no red paint, these guys can handle it.Otherwise, youre probably better off trying someone else.

Eric and Rick did a great job mounting the TV to the wall and concealing the wires. They even hid a couple other wires from my exploring baby with no problem! Showed up as scheduled, were very professional and respectful, and cleaned up. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of TV mounting.

Incredibly deserving of 5 stars. I had a delay with moving and had to cancel my initial installation then reached out again last minute to see if I could reschedule. EXCELLENT.We just had our TV mounted this morning by two wonderful gentlemen. They arrived early and went straight to work. They covered their work area with a cloth blanket and when they were finished they cleaned the entire area.They did a great job. My wife and I are very impressed in their quality and attention to detail so much so that we have already recommended them to several people.

We reached out to RDU TV Mounting a little over a week ago. They responded quickly and came by to give us an estimate which we thought was a good price for the install of a 65” Outdoor TV and sound bar. It took us a few days to give the go ahead. I really wanted a big projection screen but Brendan assured me that the outdoor tv was the best bet. We set up an appointment for installation and they came today (5/17), earlier than appointment time, which was great and the guys did an absolutely awesome job on the install all the while answering any question we had. We are already enjoying the TV. The sound from the soundbar is amazing. I have also told Brenden that they would be hearing from us again. AWESOME!!!!

I was hesitant moving forward with Brenden and his team at RDU TV Mounting, because I had a hard time getting over the fact that the MantleMount product and the service to install the mount, would total more than my TV purchase. But- I went with it, justifying the longevity of the product and service, and mostly the convenience of watching television at a view that is natural and neck pain free.RDU TV Mounting installed 3 mounts for me about 2 mos ago. The products work great. No more neck pain.Most impressive to me is the integrity. A tool accidentally slipped and scratched my TV screen about and 1” long. I was out of the room when it happened. They notified me of the rare mishap and took ownership of the issue right away, then corrected the problem with another TV. They let me keep the slightly damaged one - which I placed elsewhere.Integrity and professional.

As you can see from the photos were still unpacking, but now the TV is out of the way... [BTW, he stocks and sells LG TVs... Looking at the photo (a 50 LG HDTV) I see possibilities for getting a larger 4K LG from him in the future.]UPDATE (April 2020):Brenden sent his lead tech, Anthony, out to install a 65 Samsung q60 4K QLED TV today to replace the old LG 50.Compare this years install from last years. Last years is on top. OUTSTANDING work again. Couldnt be happier.

Brenden and Rick arrived when they said they would and did a great job. They were very careful working in our family room to protect our furniture and clean up after the install. Their experience installing TVs and sound systems was apparent in the quality of their work. The entire process took a little over 2 hours and I am totally happy with their work. Brendon and his team are down right awesome, I had been wanting to have some work done for quite sometime. He came out and was very accommodating with my schedule, he was at my place within a week to reinstall a TV mount, hide exposed cables in the wall, mount our PS4 behind the TV, and even repositioned and remounted our wall shelves! He did all this in under two hours. His experience speaks for itself. There isn’t much he can’t do, he had everything and more he needed for our visit. As we continue to put our house together, there are a few other projects we will absolutely be using them again and referring them to whoever is need of mounting services! Money well spent.

Brendon came out to mount our 58 in. TV over our fireplace and did an amazing job! He was respectful, on time, made sure to wear shoe caps in our home, and even cleaned up the left over debris. The installation took about little less than an hour which would of took me a week of just planning haha. Hands down, the BEST TV mounting service in this area!

Brendan and team mounted a 85 Sony in our media room, to replace a 70 unit. They carried the +100 lb TV upstairs and Brendan checked the existing mount to make sure it would work. Personable and professional, he called 15 minutes before to let me know exact arrival time. After, they cleaned up and showed me a few tips and tricks with the new giant display. We contacted RDU needing assistance updating our existing older stereo and tv components with new component and adding tv/stereo system to a screen porch. Brenden and his team were very organized. I had RDU TV Mounting hang my new tv over the mantle, and install an on wall surround sound system. It was an all day project with wires pulled in walls and thru the crawl space.Owner Brenden Bruce and his helper Rick did a great job. Everything looks good, and they took great care to protect my home during the whole process.

First, the tv looks great mounted on the wall. The end results was nice, but it was the process that was leading leading to the finished product that was a bit of a headache. I originally asked to have an 82in TV mounted and changed to the a 75in. The changed to the 75 in wasnt relayed to the tech. Not a big deal, but the fact they sent one guy to hang a TV that big seems like a logistical misstep. The tech didnt have, or claimed not to have the right equipment to hang my existing mount, which of course, required me to buy the mount they provide. Im not sure if the tech had been doing this line of work very long, but he had to make phone calls to ask questions and made the comment that he was learning. I have no problem with people learning on the job, but they should be with someone with some experience. The walls got marked up a bit and the install took 4.5 hours for a 2 hour appointment. We had to cancel plans due to this extension. The tech was super nice, but he shouldnt have been alone.

Worked with Brendan on mounting a 55 TV above the fireplace. A little hesitant about exposed wires, he explained the white wiremold was the best option and would look great. Brendan and another installer came out and was able to mount the TV and route the wires in no time. The TV placement is perfect and wiremold is elegant. Would definitely work with this company again. Professional results for a decent price.

I’m so happy with the service. He mounted the tv and floating shelf on the wall also put the wires in the wall. Looks great! He came back a couple weeks later to sell and install my sound bar.
