04/22/2021 was my first experience with General Rental. Everything from my initial inquiry to bringing the rental back was golden. To start, I sent an email inquiry as I had no experience with renting yard equipment or tools and had questions. Gerri from General Rental replied in a very timely manner with a personable and detailed email. A few days later, Gerri helped me to reserved the unit as well as answered more of my questions. When I arrived at the store to pick up the machine, I was warmly greeted by two Associates that were awesome. They checked me in, gave me a tutorial about the unit, gave me extra fuel and helped to carry everything to my car. When I returned the unit, I was a bit earlier than I thought I would be. I had not intended to ask for a refund for the unused time as I was very happy that the job was done, however, to my delight he said, oh look, your early. You get $X.xx back. I am beyond words. General Rental and their Associates are the definition of 5 Star Customer Service.

Very nice, and accommodating. I needed chairs last minute and they were one of the few areas that had them. I would definitely use them again.

I recently rented a sod cutter and the team was very helpful and informative. They made sure it worked before I left the store and answered the questions I had. I originally rented the cutter for 24 hours but was able to get my job done in under 4 so they instead only charged me for the 4 hour block when I returned it. Would highly recommend!

Courteous, reasonable.

They were helpful overall. We used them for a wedding. They gave us a quote first and had everything we needed for a decent price. However, on pickup day, they did not have the chairs ready to be loaded in the quantity we asked for, so we had to manually grab and count stacks of chairs (ended up being one shy, which we couldnt prove that it was us or them, so we had to pay for the missing chair). Also, we rented two larger standing fans, but what we were given were not kept in good shape - rusty and rickety - with no speed variation (which was not communicated). Ended up not using one of them because it was too loud and strong. Would have been avoided if their website was of better quality as well. No descriptions of products or prices and has poor quality photos. However, the Table linens were nice and all the correct size and quantity. So overall, we made it work and it was a nice day, but we would have preferred a little more professionalism from General Rental overall.

Ive been here a few times. The staff is very helpful, even when a belt on a rental broke they reset my rental time. The prices are very fair.
