The morning of my reservation, an hour and 12 minutes before my pick up time I get a call and was informed that the location in Quincy, IL has zero vehicles. ( they were not brought back or the other renters did not answer the phone) no vehicles. Not just the one I had reserved… NOTHING…. What a joke of a company.

I have been dealing with enterprise for some years now and they are always amazing. However, this past month my vehicle caught on fire and even though I had to travel far to get a rental enterprise understood my situation! When my insurance company stopped paying for my vehicle they still honored an amazing rate and were professional and explained everything to me as far as charges and insurance info. I appreciate you guys so much and will continue to be a customer for my families travel needs.

I contracted for a compact vehicle. A Suburban was delivered. I was charged for the compact. So, E. under-promised and over-delivered! Win!Because I am aircrew, I asked for the car to be delivered to a rural airport. In the past this would have been excruciatingly painful to get E. to deliver a car without driving me from the airport to their office to officially sign a document etc. I was pleased to learn that E. now has an FBO team to meet this need. Good move E.! The car was waiting per my expectations.In the past, I avoided E. if there was any other choice. I am less inclined to avoid E. now.One area to improve; I have to be an Emerald member and can only contract via the website. All the other rental companies will deliver a car to an airport via phone call from the FBO. For last minute flight schedule changes E. still lags behind the competition for adaptability.

Employees friendly, vehicles clean. BUT I think it is totally stupid that my husband can drive the vehicle AFTER I pick it up, only becausedebit card in my name. I had to drive 20+ miles to pick it up when he was already in that town. Very un accommodating rule of Enterprise which is why only 2 stars

I tried to rent a premium suv from enterprise to take a family trip. I made a reservation and didnt get a confirmation. I realized I never got a confirmation and made another reservation. I got a call a couple days later asking if I meant to make another response. I told him no. He told me I needed a credit card because I have an out of state license. I told him my wife would rent it. He said I needed a credit card because it is a premium suv. I said I guess anything I do with enterprise needs a credit card. he said I could rent a minivan with a debit card. 8 people and their luggage doesnt fit in a minivan. so I put money on a credit card through my bank. I was called a day early and asked if I could come do the check out to save time the next day. The money I paid hadnt posted yet so my wife put money on her card. she went this morning to take care of it. Thats when she was told she had to leave a deposit, you guessed it. on a credit card. She said Id have to leave the deposit on mine. They said no problem. we go back out tonight to take care of it. they said ooohhhh it all has to be on the same card. Im done with their games and lack of customer service. I highly recommend you dont use enterprise.

Check in was fast, quick, simple. They made sure they went around the vehicle and noted anywhere that had markings before I took the vehicle so I wouldnt be responsible for any markings. They answered any and all questions. This was my first time renting and I already have a reservation made for another rental.

Enterprise rental in Quincy IL the guys were GREAT and very understanding during my time of need. As far as the drop off location in Peoria IL on Pioneer Parkway the people were rude the young lady seemed as if I was bothering her. I will only rent from the Quincy IL location and I live in peoria..

I dont think its right that prepaid debit cards arent valid enough to get a rental car its same as a bank card just may not be locally bank, I have tried multiple times to rent a car with a NetSpend, Greendot, and or American Express and got denied thats not right or fair over where we bank at as long as the funds are there to cover the cost. I feel as if prepaid cards are discriminate against with Enterprise Rental and lost out on more than 3-4 x more money could of been made just by me alone its sad if anything changes let me know

I rent from this location often. They accommodate whatever I have going on and usually have me in a vehicle I look forward to driving. Danielle is great and has a perky attitude.Im a country gal that drives a full size 4 door cab truck. I dont mind larger vehicles that take a bit more gas, go fast enough to watch the gas pedal, and are a bit harder to park in some cities. Somedays that translates to a upgrade! Thanks to this team for letting me enjoy my drive time.

This last experience was the worst. I have had nothing but great experience before but this recent one was a nightmare. I rented a vehicle as usual but this time in Moline IL and when i got there to pick it up i was told i wasnt able to because i was from out of state and had a debt card. But exactly a week ago i rented a car in quincy IL without any of that kind of story. That vacation was horrible with no vehicle and 102 outside

I almost always rent with Enterprise when in need of a rental car. I have never had a bad experience with an Enterprise location. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. This office was no exception to that general rule! My car was ready, the checkout process was quick and easy, and I was on my way in no time at all. Check-in was just as easy!

I had a few issues with the vehicle I rented (traveling to Virginia) and they were more than accommodating to credit my account... Alex is an absolute pleasure to work with... I have rented pretty much every time from Enterprise. However, I may not again. The vehicle I was rented smelled very strong of some type of smoke. For a non-smoker this is definitely nauseating.On top of that the oil change indicator came on and wouldnt go off. The life of the oil read 0%, the oil tag said the last oil change happened 21,000 miles ago and even when I called in, this seemed to be a non-issue for them. More than likely the car received an oil change, but the issue does nothing for the peace of mind of the driver.Then on our trip the air conditioning went out of the vehicle. They advised me to switch it out at a location nearest to me. I called 10 different places and not one would accommodate me and exchange the vehicle. I had to use the vehicle for a day and a half without air in 90 degree weather.All of this was very frustrating, but then, when I was finally able to trade in the rental SUV for another vehicle, they didnt give me a comparable SUV, they gave me a car. I was pretty much done so I just took it.Even though I received a small discount (3 days off of a 15 day rental) and there was finally some resolution to the issue, I still felt that for a $400 rental it wasnt worth it to go through all of that. I think I might try another rental place for my next one.

I rent a lot from the Quincy Enterprise location in addition to many other Enterprise locations during my travels. The staff is top notch always helpful and eager to get me on my way. Eric, Dave, and Alyssa are excellent and a credit to the training that Enterprise gives its employees. They have a can do spirit to serve the customer. I highly recommend them whether its a personal or business rental. .

I was very impressed with my recent rental experience at the Enterprise in Quincy IL. It was a miserable weather day and the employees provided excellent service in trying conditions. I was incredibly impressed and thankful that when I arrived back to my vehicle late at night Enterprise had taken the initiative to clean the snow off it. That is going above and beyond! Thank you.

Needed my car repaired, called the national number the night before and was told I didn’t need a reservation, I could call in the morning get a pickup from the repair place and was told they would certainly have a car available. Called the next morning during business hours and they had their phones off. Got my own ride to the store but once I was there I was told they wouldn’t have a car until the afternoon. The lady helping me wasn’t polite, helpful or apologetic just indifferent and had a take it or leave it attitude. Don’t count on this place. I went through my repair place and will avoid this store every chance I can.

Very friendly staff!! Easy to work with. I was in a car accident and insurance covered a rental. Enterprise had a vehicle ready for me the same day insurance called them. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because whatever was used to clean the vehicle on the inside smelled awful... Like dirty wet dish rag that was reused and not washed for a week or so. I had to keep the windows down to air it out for a few days. Another than that, vehicle ran great and like I said, wonderful friendly staff.

When I rented the vehicle, Alexandra was my agent. She was very helpful and pleasant. Her supervisor, Kay Lynn(or however you spell it) was the exact opposite. I was on the road working and forgot to renew my contract. A couple days went by and I called to get the matter cleared up. I spoke with, “Kay Lynn” and she was very rude and dismissive with a “holier than now” demeanor. She had very much a corporate mind set. I also had the oil changed in the vehicle because the vehicle was about do for maintenance when I received it. Instead of a “Thank You”, I got the, “well the maintenance needs to be done by a certified Enterprise business” Lol...are you kidding me? If you aren’t gonna thank me, I’d rather you said nothing at all. This woman has the personality of a soup can and probably the intelligence to match. I have been renting from Enterprise for years. I have spent over $10,000 of dollars with this company and this is the kind of attitude I receive for my patronage to Enterprise? I don’t know where she came from, but they need to send her right back! She doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. I think a little bit of humility and intellectual maturity would do her a lot of good. I will be complaining to the corporate office about this individual.

I was supposed to get a car at a certain time, I went in and it wasnt there yet. They told me to come back at a certain time which I did, and car was then in shop. I went back later, a third time and finally got a car.The Quincy office reeked of cat piss. They told me to have a seat and wait, which I declined because of the over powering stench.Their excuse was that it used to be a pet store. That was years ago. No reason for it to stink so bad.

Great customer service and good on explaining policies and what you are paying for. But when you have any issues with these polices they will try head over heels to make it miserable for you. Don’t bother with the insurance with them. They say you are protected and then go after your insurance anyways. Never will rent again. Will take personal car on business trips going forward!Avoid at all costs!Wish Hertz was still open!

Mark was great! Very friendly and helpful. The car was clean and got great gas mileage. Only downfall was no cruise control which I think should be on all rentals not just the higher priced upgrades. We rent for fuel economy and manuverability so the larger vehicles dont work for us.

I rented a vehicle to move my son to Chicago. The Nissan I rented drove very nicely. The big problem was that it did not use a key. You just kept the fob on you, and used a push button to start. I stopped for gas halfway back and the Nissan refused to start because it failed to recognize the fob any longer. Finally, after about 15 minutes, it decided it recognize it again.The worst part of the rental, even though I had the vehicle less than 48 hours, I was forced to pay for an additional day because they dont acknowledge Sunday returns. I would not have rented, but as they have the monopoly on rentals in Quincy with hertz being closed, I had no choice.

I travel regionally for business quite often and rent cars from Enterprise exclusively. The employees at the Quincy, Illinois location are top notch and always take great care of me. I cant say enough good things about their service. They are incredibly busy all of the time but always take the time to make sure the person they are working with is good to go.

I got in an accident the day before my birthday. Enterprise was contracted by my insurance company. Scheduling with them they stated they would pick me up from the auto body shop. They forgot about me. I waited 45 minutes, gave them a call, and they said they had someone on the way. Another 45 minutes passed before I called my parents to come get me. We went to Enterprise, they stated that they simply just forgot. They gave me a 2015 Nissan Altima S that wasnt very safe to drive. The windshield was pitted on the drivers side in the field of vision. All of the tires, especially the front drivers side, were close if not already bald. No one went over the car with me, I just had to sign for it and was handed the keys. It wasnt clean, and I feel like if a cigarette smoker can smell the previous smoker, theres an issue. Overall my experience was NOT great. Enterprise is a great company and usually has top notch employees, I just dont think the one here is that accommodating.

For Quincy, Il. Enterprise is about 5 miles from the airport. It is open from 8-6 M-F, so I had a problem with a 6:55 flight. Enterprise needs to have a key drop box and parking at the airport. Currently in a rental my Mom picked up to drive me to the airport in St. Louis. She was in a hurry, so she didnt realize that this is a moving ashtray. I have a severe allergy to smoke and there is ash and a heavy odor in this car. It also shakes when you go over 40mph, so it is long overdue for a balance. She called the branch as soon as we pulled out the driveway and the guy on the phone didnt apologize or anything. I am a former Enterprise manager, and I had a fleet of over 400 vehicles...I never would have let this vehicle leave my lot like this. Now I have to fly home smelling like cigarettes, with a sore throat, headache, and red eyes.

If your license is from out of state you must have a credit card, not a debt card like I have. Was told on the phone they would rent with a debt card, once I get there a different story. Just keep screwing a stranded person, vehicle broke down sitting here for 4 days, now this.... fed up..I have rented at several other locations around the country and never had a issue.

Car we finally got was awesome. The office in Qcy has a terrible odor and not someplace to stay in. Did not like not being advised in advance there was a $200 deposit. Was able to drop car off at the Hbl location and not have to drive back to Qcy with it. Made things easier. Did get my deposit back in a timely manner.
