We have used UR in Quincy, IL for equipment rental for many years. They always provide what we need when we need it. They have helped us with recommendations on how to utilize equipment in the past to complete challenging jobs safely and efficiently.

United Rentals is acting like a 2 year old by not allowing Carters Coffee customers to park in the left lane of East bound traffic on Maine Street. The line of cars barely blocks their drive and really only affects cars turning left into their drive. You could still enter the drive from the westbound lane. And cars leaving the drive can still turn right. There is also another entrance they could use off of 36th steet. Bottom line is that the blockage of that lane has a miniscule effect on their business. But will have a signifanct impact on Carters. Its really sad that these 2 business could not work something out. I will never refer someone to United again.

I have used this rental service for years and always a great service. They provided me with the best equipment at competitive pricing. One time I was sanding my garage floor but my circuit breaker could not handle the load so one of the guys loaded a compressor on his truck and brought it to my house. Always friendly! Highly recommend.

I used their rental service once and I wont be back because of their deceptive price tactics. If you plan to use their 1/2 day pricing, plan to have it back by their standard allotted time. If they tell you that they will be flexible and dropping it off at an agreed later time will still get you 1/2 day price, dont believe them. They will charge you full price when you return the equipment, even if one of the two guys that told you theyd be flexible outside, is the same guy working at the counter when you drop it off. If he gets in front of his boss, hell fold and charge you full price.Personally, I wont be back because they 1. lied to me and 2. decided that $30 was more important to them than my happiness as a future customer. Ill go elsewhere for my rental needs from now on and Ill encourage my friends and family to do the same.
