Went in the other day to buy an ice machine. Some old man yelled at the salesperson with whom I was speaking and implied that he was wasting his time with me. My time is valuable...I wasn’t there to haggle I was there to make a purchase on the spot. Perhaps it was because I was Asian? Or young? that I shouldn’t be given the time of day? The salesperson would definitely know who I am as that encounter was bizarre and unwarranted.
