I really cannot overstate how pleasant all the staff were for a drop off that was a little more complicated than average (for us anyway). While Id say Ive never planned a return trip to a transfer station by merit of good customer service alone, I certainly wont mind doing it again, even if its a bit of a drive to the backside of Puyallup.

The people at the transfer station are so nice. I go there all the time. Best time to go would be in the morning from 8:30 am to 11:00 . you will be in and out.

Very neatly organized not too long of a wait and the staff is wonderful. Pretty doggone clean for a dump!

Horrible. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. The rudest people you will ever incounter. If you think dealing with the DMV or IRS is bad try going to LRI. I guess if working at a landfill was the best I could do with my life I would be a rude and condescending human as well. Thank God I went to College. Avoid this place at all costs. On the plus side ( the only reason I gave it any stars ) its a great place to take your children to explain why they need to stay in school and get real jobs, or they will end up like those people. So theres that.

We actually got out of there in an hour. Its usually 2 hours.

Gate was closed before there Published business hours were up and the person at the gate was very rude

I have used this recycling center several times over the last few years and again last Friday. Each time I was Helped by rude and arrogant staff. Whos doing who the favor? From now on I will drive My recyclables anywhere else.

I have made multiple trips over the years and there has never been a problem. The staff at the scales simply asks what you have to send you to the right place and to charge you properly on your way out. Saturday is the busiest day so be expecting to wait if your schedule allows go in the morning during the week.

Great place to dump!

I have on many trips to the land fill was able to get in and out of there within 1/2 hr. And I have also waited for 1 1/2 hr in line. Overall it works for me.

They open on time so we can drop off our yard waste. Don’t have to wait on line. The people at the control areas are very friendly and professional. Place is kept clean at all time.

Great place to get rid of the glass re-cycling

We have never had a negative experience and that’s even when the lines were 3 miles long due to covid closure. I wouldn’t fault them for that, this was completely out of their control. The ladies in the front ticketing were always kind even if having a bad day.

Pretty quick and easy to drop off recycling and compost

I just checked my reciept and they charged me for commercial. When Im not. Im not in any company truck or anything like that. Just my regusler pickup truck. I can only imagine how long this has been going on for. Double check before you leave.

Their processes have been social distancing for years and doing yard waste 3 days and times is not protecting the employees or public as they sit in the tractors and shacks. Stupid decision by LRI mgmt

Cleanest dump I have ever seen..lines can be long but they move smoothly

I like to go here when its Not busy. I have been in lines that take over an hour to get threw. Maybe some day they will add more area to dump so people dont have to plan so much time at a dump.

Racist. all othera not asked anuth8ng and i had e staff repeatedly ask if i had garbage cor compost. APPARENTLY THEY NEVER SEEN A COMPOST BAG!!!! SO I DUMPED TH2 GRASS OUT AND SHOWED THE SAFETY GIY WHO BYPASSED ME IN LINE. quit being prejudice bcuz i am not white

Very organized, professional and friendly employees. I look foreword to going to LRI many years to come.

The people at the recycling facility are rude and lazy. I had one of the employees throw cardboard back at me because it had masking tape on it. I finally said screw it, loaded my truck back up, and took it to the landfill. Do your job!
