Shelley Hansen has been our agent through the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new, forever home. A close friend recommended her years ago and she has been there for us since. We are a military family and recently moved from Hawaii to Washington with plans to retire. We hoped to find a place with some property outside of town to settle into. The market was super high and we were a little intimidated to jump into it. Shelley immediately started looking for homes that fit our description. They got to stay in their home and we were lucky to have a ready made hobby farm starting from day one.We are lucky to have Shelley working with us. She is hard working and tenacious in today’s market. I talk to so many friends who make offers on multiple homes only to have them rejected. This was our first offer on a home. It was a reasonably priced “trophy home” with multiple offers placed, and our offer was the one chosen. I truly feel Shelley was the deciding factor in the sellers choosing us as the buyers. Athena Hutt was our listing and buying agent. She got our house sold within four days of going on the market and was willing to drive any distance to show the houses we were interested in. The process was made easier with her being in constant contact with us throughout the entire process. The manager had our back when the agent of the house we were looking to buy tried to do things that werent legal. We had a trip planned in the middle of closing and they made it to where we could sign the closing papers while we were out of town. We found the perfect home and couldnt have been happier with our agent and gateway.

Joseph Layer (purchaser name on the contract: Andrey Layer) totally took advantage of an elderly woman - who happens to be my Mother. He kept repeatedly coming to her house asking about purchasing a vacant property next to her home. He arbitrarily took it upon himself to write a contact just in her name for her to sign with a price (way below market value) in which he would pay her. Anyone repeatedly speaking with her would know she’s a confused ELDERLY person!!! He did not ask if anyone else would be available to help her with this so called sale.. LUCKILY and for Legal regard it was NOT just in her name. Who knows how much this would have costs us to get out of this contract from an attorney. I believe this company is very UNDERHANDEDLY out to take ADVANTAGE of ANY ELDERLY person just to get a sale of property.. SHAME ON ANYONE THAT WORKS for Gateway!!!

One of the best environments to grow up in as a new Realtor®!!! Everyone is like family here and the training is fantastic. Not to mention the helpful staff. DISGRACE

Today was the day we received our house key! After looking online and searching, We found Karli from gateway real estate! She is amazing and always there when we needed something, she even helped us get on the right path into getting into a home. She was patient and most importantly she listen to what we wanted and didnt hassle us. And she had refer us to an awesome Lender, from 1st security. Thank you so much Karli!

We contacted Kari Montgomery from Gateway when ready to sell (and purchase) a home. She and Brenda Coty did an amazing job of keeping us in the loop, ALWAYS being available for questions and showings, and lending support. We are probably in our forever home but, if we were to do it again, Kari and Brenda would be our team. They are amazing!!!
