Our first experience with Blair and Son was 26years ago. That experience was excellent and due to that, when we were looking to add some flooring to our existing flooring we started searching a list of contractors, with Blair and Son was at the top of the lists and with a good previous experience, we decided to call them first. After speaking with Johnny Blair, we hired him on the spot and did not contact anyone else. His team was professional, provided quality workmanship, on time and completed the job better than we expected. Johnny was always available to answer any of our questions or concerns and met all the listed items on our contract completely. Most of all, first impression when we saw our new/refinished floors was that we now had a beautiful, large piece of art in our home. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing outcome! Our oak hardwoods are 16 years old with heavy foot traffic damage and warped spots from water. Blair & Son stripped the floor down flat and stained it darker. I couldn’t be happier with the results. All the employees were very professional and punctual. By far the best company to hire for any flooring needs.

My hardwood floors look beautiful. The team was on-time - they kept to the schedule - great on clean up - and the results are amazing. My only regret is not having done it sooner.

Edit to Original Post: Fall 2020Since our first experience with Blair and Son in 2014, we have since had the wonderful opportunity to use them again in 2020! This time we had our old wood floors replaced with beautiful new ones. From the moment we scheduled our estimate their were thorough, detailed and thoughtful. After the estimate we scheduled a date for tear out and install. During that time they educated us on the entire process and what to except during each phase. If we had any questions they were happy to answer and very easy to communicate with. When it came time to begin their team was on time every day & in lieu of COVID, we felt that their practices were extremely safe. We are extremely happy with our new floors. They are beautiful and truly feel like butter under our feet. We are customers for life!2014: Blair and Son installed new hardwood flooring in our kitchen to match the hardwoods in the rest of the home. Seeing as our home was built in 1947, they sanded & refinished all of the existing flooring and stained the new & old wood to a beautiful dark color. They worked efficiently and effectively. The crew seemed polite and friendly. Each day they arrived on time & helped us move out furniture and appliances in and out of the rooms.Since completely our floors they have gone on to my parnets home in Lynnwood & even my place of work ( a yoga studio in Tacoma). Each time they have done nothing shy of a great job!
