Randy did an amazing job on the front bumper of my Mercedes 600SL... I wrecked it 4 times! He is very patient! and very Professional
My name is Randy Trueblood and I own Randys Fiberglass repair. It is real easy to post complains about a business but no person who has posted about my business ever complained to me. I stand behind every job I do and all a customer has to do is tell me and bring it back for corrections. If you dont tell me and dont bring it back then there is nothing I can do.
I had the exact same experience as the previous review by Ray Crumbley. Randys quote called for up to 8 hours to remove the foam under my boat floor while replacing the floor and stringers. Turned out there was no foam, yet he called and said it was going to be $400 more for extra repairs. He described his work as meticulous, however that was far from accurate. I have about 10 hours of labor into fixing things that either werent done, or werent done right. The interior was filthy with fiberglass and saw dust everywhere, the carpet was barely glued down and peeling up everywhere, screws were stripped and critical bolts were loose, fiberglass resin was spilled in multiple spots, he lied about wiring not being ran for my fuel gauge that I know for a fact was working before he got ahold of it, and the list goes on. AVOID RANDYS AT ALL COSTS.
My name is randy and I am responding to tyler bradys review of work I did on his boat. He complained about his gas guage not working. His wireing on his boat was in very bad shape and I do not do wireing. I left it as it was brought in. It is always the shops fault with whatever goes wrong even though I didnot work on wireing. Everything was done that he paid for and more. If anyone who comes to my shop is not happy with my work be a man and call me to at least have a chance to correct it. thank you, Randy p.s. any extra work always cost extra.
Randy did some insurance claim work on my 20 boat. I had some hull damage and the top half was separating from the bottom. He had to remove the seats, front bulk and sides panels to get access to do the work. After I picked up the boat, I found that the bulk head was not screwed back into place, the side panels were missing screws, control cables supports were cut and not tied back up, fiberglass dust coated everything (1/2 thick in places), and the rubber bumper on the outside wasnt sealed completely. I spent a full day cleaning up and fixing what should have been done by him. It also cost more than what he quoted. I cant say that I will ever recommend Randys fiberglass repair to anybody or at least to my friendsAfter taking the boat out on the water the rubber trim came off in places. Randy would not repair his own work. I will never again allow him near my boat.
My name is Randy and I own Randys fiberglass repair. I am responding tp the review by ray crumly, First this boat is 40 years old and was in such bad condition that my repair is the only reason this boat has not sunk. I stand behind all my work. If a customer will not bring back a boat with a complaint there is nothing I can do. His main complaint of dust is a by product of lots of grinding. Sometimes dust can pile up in places I cant see.As far as cost overruns when there is hidden damage I do have to increce my costs. I am still willing to help Mr Crumly but I cannot do anything if he wont come back for the free repairs.
Randy does great work
Great work, knowledgeable guy
