Even when I when in shock, and couldn’t stop laughing, Karen was very understanding. Talking to me saying we all grieve in many ways. And she understood.From my first contact with them, to the last, everything went smoothly. When we made the phone call to the time the person got to the home they were respectful and helpful. It was a great pleasure to help mom out of the home from beginning to end. We thought the velvet blue cover was most appropriate for mom to go out in style. The person that helped remove her body was very nice and helpful even filling out the paperwork. We had to redo some of the paperwork as you know at that time was difficult but it all worked out and Cremation Society was there for us during our time of need. I would highly recommend Cremation Society of Washington to anyone. They were very very helpful nice pleasant to work with and our family would most definitely use them again.

The Cremation Society of Washington was extremely easy to deal with. We made plans before my husbands death to have him cremated, pre-paid for everything, and received information to help us along the way. After his death, they were helpful with every step along the way. A death is a difficult time for everyone, and the Cremation Society was an entity who made things easy.

Despite an initial hiccup, The Cremation Society of Washington did a great job. The did what they said they would, and I received my wifes cremains in a reasonable amount of time. When I needed to talk to someone, I could find someone. Five stars, because they simply do what theyre supposed to do. Sometimes, thats more than enough.

When Mom died we began searching for a reasonable creation service. The first two places we tried surprised us with quotes of over $4,000. It is sad that at a time when family is already hurting from their loss that some places will take advantage .It was wonderful to find Cremartion Society of Washington. They quoted us $670 or $770 dollars (I cant remember which) but they took care of everything just as they promised and Moms ashes were delivered to us in a tasteful plastic urn inside a velour bag in about a week. We couldnt be more pleased with the practical, common-sense, affordable service. We highly recommend Cremation Society of Wahington.

Making arrangements for the death of a loved one was the last thing I wanted to do. But when my wifes health took a serious turn for the worse I began to research options for her cremation. After reviewing several organizations I found the link for Cremation Society of Washington, looked at their website and reviews, and made the decision to choose them to take care of my wife when the time came. I was able to fill out the required paperwork online and prepaid for their service for both of us. Their pricing was transparent and very reasonable. It turned out to be a good decision. Two weeks later my wife of 50 years passed away at home. A call was made to the company and two young men came to retrieve my wifes body. The were respectful and professional in taking care of her. We received her remains back a week later and are now able to plan a memorial service for her. I also received an inquiry from CSW a week later checking on how we were doing, which I truly appreciated. From my experience, I would recommend Cremation Society of Washington to take care of your needs. I am happy we chose them for this service for both my wife and for me.

CSW was extremely sensitive to me and what I was going through. They took time and care answering questions even weeks after. They have offered support above and beyond on multiple levels. They were personal, caring and I would highly recommend their establishment in one’s most vulnerable and emotional of times.

I shopped around and Cremation Society had the best price. I was a little apprehensive going with the cheapest but their customer service was very good, all details accurate and timeline sooner than stayed. Very pleased with their service and would recommend them.

Our recent experience with this company was the worst. DONT use this company. We recently lost my Grandfather, and this company refused to pick my Grandfather, because it was a holiday weekend and didnt have the personnel to pick up his body. We had to hire a second cremation company to pick him up. His body laid at home for over 13hrs. And then to top it off they refused to return our money. This company showed no compassion or understanding in our time of need. Mary especially is the most cold hearted and unsympathetic person weve dealt with in this company. They make all kinds of promises just to take your money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I would like to thank the staff at The Cremation Society of Washington for their efforts. We were comforted by knowing my mothers body was quickly transported from the hospital where she had passed. The staff was courteous and helpful in the process that followed. We also wanted to thank the Society for providing us with a close approximation of the time she was being cremated, since a family member is from a culture whereby there are certain observances at that time.

The folks that work here are super sensitive to what you are going through and have great follow up. The on line for was a little tedius but it was all for good reasons. The process was easy. They handle all the details, death certificates and really took the load off our minds. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Although its aweful to go through experiences like this, they made it so easy!!

Was looking for cremation services after my wife passed suddenly. Was given Cremation Society of Washington as a possible choice. I am glad they are who I went. The entire process was very easy. Filled out a questionnaire and paid the very reasonable fee. I was very happy with their work. If the need should arise in the future I will not hesitate to use them again.

We had a pretty unique situation for our family and they worked with us for no additional charge. The rates are reasonable and the service provided was exactly what our family needed in our difficult time. Do not use this company ! Our Dad passed away 18 months ago at home in hospice care. When we made arrangements for his body to be picked up a small older lady showed up. There was no way she was going to be able to move Dad by herself. My Brother and I had to load his body into a body bag and remove his catheter.Our Mother passed away this week. She had the same prepaid arrangements with Cremation Society that Dad had. We received the documentation online for signatures to have her body picked up at the Medical Examiner. The documentation said that we still owed $670.00 which was confusing to us. I did understand the $70.00 owed to the Medical Examiner. After many phone calls and promises of return phone calls it was finally resolved, I hope.During a time of family grieving this is not the kind of support a family needs. Please review your processes and remember who your customer is and what they are going through and show some empathy.

An extended family member of mine passed away earlier this week and I spoke with someone named Mary. Mary was very transparent about pricing and different options for my family. I was very pleased with how promptly arrangements were made.The companies I spoke to before speaking with Mary treated me like I was a crazy grieving family member, and even interrupted me to try and sell me pricier packages.. She treated me as if this were her own family. I really appreciate the services of Cremation Society if Washington. The death of my sister, though expected from end stage Cancer, came sooner because of Covid-19. Everything happened so quickly that even though I knew my sister’s wishes, we had not made any arrangements. Cremation Society if Washington was recommended to me by one of my sister’s friends. All I had to do was fill out the form - they did everything else! I used the Cremation Society for both my mom and dad and was very happy with the experience in both instances. It was super easy to set up their accounts online so when the time came, I just called to request their services. They came and very respectfully took away their bodies. A week or so later, they delivered the ashes to my house. Neither of my parents wanted a funeral and both were very frugal. This was a very economical option and I will be setting up an account for myself as well to make it easy for my kids. Its a blessing to your loved ones to have this in place before its needed.

They can be difficult to work with. They often did not answer their phones or identify themselves when they did. The cost for their service is great. At first I planned to give them just one star. The initial few contacts were just that bad. In the long run they were patient with working with the only family member who could sign the papers and refused to do so.

One of the hardest times of my life, the most emotional experience Ive had. And Cremation Society made it bearable. They took my burden and simplified the entire process; they took care of everything. I cant thank you enough.

They did such a great job. What impressed me most was the way they made you feel and taking the responsibility away from me allowing me to greive and process and be there for my family.

On March 1, 2019, I got on Cremation Society of Washingtons website and paid for future cremation for my mother and father. We were expecting cremation packets from them in 3 days they said. After a week without receiving the cremation packets, I called and was told they had been mailed. The owner called my Mother (March 11, 2019) and guaranteed she would receive the cremation packets by the end of the week (March 15, 2019). As of today (March 22, 2019) we STILL HAVE NOT received the cremation packets. I wished I would have researched this company closer - they have no physical address.This is a stressful enough subject for us to have to endure your Company’s unfulfilled guarantees, promises, excuses, and alibis regarding the failure on your part to mail our cremation packets in a timely manner.

So helpful, the process was seamless. Would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

2 months prior to my father-in-laws passing, we pre paid for his cremation with Cremation Society of Washington. It was simple and straight forward. When the time came, I only had to make one phone call to CSW and it was taken care of. They let me know when his remains were ready for transportation to Washington National Cemetery and delivered them to the cemetery for me. During a time of grief it was one less thing I had to worry about. Very professional. Highly recommend them.

I was dealing with an out of state situation as I live in CA and I dont see how this could have been made any easier on me. Candace is an incredible, kind, and gentle administrator who guided me through this process flawlessly. Even when I had a minor hang up (on my part, absolutely no fault of CSW) they took an after hour call and got RIGHT back to me and were ready to assist though thankfully I ended up not needing it.I cannot recommend them enough!!
