They are a mask Nazis at this spot. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. They dont offer information you have to make multiple trips. Not happy
BE CAREFUL Trusting their announcements. Unless you go preview in person really careful and pay close attention to everything otherwise youll regret and put your self in loss and headache....Weve purchased a vehicle with the announcement of Primary damage: Left damage, which was just minor cosmetic on the fender in the picture disclosed and secondary is: BIO Hazard..... but finding out the undercarriage damage, frame is bent, radiator is tweaked, ENGINE IS DAMAGED, NO COMPRESSION and OIL Pan is broken. All these were not disclosed. Possibly their fork lift damaged it and someone is covering all this. They were not willing to unwind the deal and admit their FALSE INFORMATION which is a BIG DEAL. The Vehicle was $12,500. Take a Look at the Pictures
Very big auction. From a truck drivers prospective they are not slow, but over welmed at times. So many local guys with roll back trucks can leave you waiting for hours.
I think you’ll have better experience at DMV than IAAI. I called on Monday to get info on viewing the vehicle in person. Was told the viewing is available on Tuesday from 9am to 3pm. Showed up on Tuesday was told I need to have a vest so I ended up running to the store and buying one. Came back to the line out the door. Now I am told the vehicle can’t be viewed in person since it’s not on the sales floor. Now I could have been told this information during the phone call on Monday. Needless to say buying a vehicle on IAAI that you can’t view in person is a risky business. Your odds are better at casino. The information provided of the vehicle on their website is far inaccurate and often misleading.
Great place to buy used cars 🚗 👍
The sketchiest auction in the PNW . There is a reason why they dont allow people to start cars at this auction. Scamming the buyers cant be good for business in the long term.
I needed to inspect a car that had been totaled from a car crash. IAAI was very professional and helpful in setting the time for the inspection. Melissa assisted us and made the inspection very easy work. Thank you, Melissa and IAAI.
Really too bad zero stars is not an option! Just pray your car is NEVER taken to their “holding lot”. My car seat covers where removed by cutting the Velcro straps, destroying my covers, money was stolen out of my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu before I could get my personal belongs from MY totaled car! All my personal belongs were shoved in a black garbage bag with the dirty broken car parts and dirty floor mats. Thanks for being so considerate and respectful to someone, insert sarcasm here! Then they actually HUNG UP on my insurance company when they called to ask about the treatment of my belongs!
Bought a car here in December 2020. Advertised as running/driving. it did not. Found that the electrical box had been ravaged after the auction pictures. Items (floor mats, etc) were stolen between the time the pictures were taken and the car sold. Do not believe anything they say about running/driving or what is in the pics. View it the day before or you will be cheated.
We went today to look at the cars up for auction tomorrow. I guwss the auction is only online bidding now.
Fantastic, happy coordinating staff.
Never had any issues with a front desk, always nice. But forklift operators are very and very rude, unprofessional. They are loading, like doing a favor for you, not like their job. One loader hates and disrespects white people for no reason.
Disgusting. I was home all day when my dog needed the vet and they never showed up for an appointment scheduled over a week in advance, didnt answer their phones, and flat out lied. Please go elsewhere if your want anything that looks like honesty.
Not the best communication when you call them, but the ladies in the office were VERY nice, and even helped me with tracking a car that was on its way to the yard via flatbed, by calling dispatch and even the driver himself. The guys in the yard were accommodating beyond expectation, even though they were scheduled to be closing at the time that my car arrived. The car is part of an insurance investigation and I needed to film them unloading it at the site. They worked with me and everyone I talked to was super friendly and ready to help. They thoroughly explained how the car would be helduntil the insurance company released it, and assured me it would be off-limits to everyone. If they found a way to communicate more effectively with people regarding cars being towed from non-affiliated impound yards for insurance claims/investigations, then I would give them five stars. I had to make multiple calls to ensure that I was contacted when the car was going to be towed, and the call center personnel were rather rude. They REALLY pressured me to release the car before the engineer had completed his investigation, and then once I did, they took an extra day to get the car. A hurry up to wait scenerio that cost me a day of work.
Great customer service, although alot of waiting. If youre in a hurry not good
Good, covid made it slow
Standard experience. Nearly 1 hr wait for them to load me.
🤣
This the nicest and cleanist and the most professional Iaai
I did purchase a vehicle from here and and engine is knocking that did not say anything about it it was time action when I call them back for the issues they said I can come anytime there to check the vehicle usually when I go there they are telling me that I can only see vehicles on Tuesday which is before one day of action day this place is garbage!. To much fee just go copart action better service better fee better price!. Don’t even get closer to this place!.
WORST customer service i’ve ever experienced. the workers there are RUDE, don’t greet you when you come in which is fine except they were rude all around. When they called us we didn’t know where to go and when we went in front of the rail and they yelled and said not to go and we were standing there and my foreign mom didn’t know what was going on. the lady annoyingly said right here in front. they were rude. don’t recommend going here.
I had a very positive experience purchasing a salvage vehicle from IAA. The office workers were very friendly and helpful and they worked quickly and efficiently. The forklift driver loaded the vehicle very carefully with precision. He was careful to not cause additional damage to the vehicle and made sure it was perfectly centered on the auto transport trailer.
Worst IAA I’ve seen! Unprofessional and rude personal. Avoid this place
It was a little difficult trying to find the business but once I was on a 110th street East it was OK the staff there are friendly
I love to hate this place. They have invented a lot of really great ways to take your money. Great ways for them that is. The staff is all surly and passive aggressive as well. They are the only game in town though so I have to do business with them. That sucks rocks.
They packaged up all the trash in the car that I didnt want, but the brand new jumper cables and the 2 new collapsible containers I had in the trunk were GONE. Thanks for nothing!
Erika, the Store Manager, did more than I could have asked for. There were payment issues out of my power and she was VERY understanding, helpful and always super nice - very good customer service overall.Best regards from Germany,Peter
I would have given this place one star except I had good front desk customer service and I did not have to wait long.My vehicle was towed to this place after a car accident. After my insurance company totaled it, I went to retrieve my personal belongings out of my car and trunk. I have to say that my belongings were treated with disrespect. Things were disarrayed. Everything, including my music Cds were strewn about. My car looked like it had been ransacked on the inside!. it wasnt until later, that I realized, a brand new container of Deicer and an unopened container of anti freeze were missing!I cannot write this review without mentioning an older creepy guy that drove me out alone to retrieve my belongings made me VERY uncomfortable. I cant ever remember having a creepier feeling and experience!!
Good place to buy a pre-owned car. Very friendly and helpful customer service.
Very helpful staff
Helped quickly. Everyone was kind and considerate. Short wait to see car.
I scheduled with this company 5 days ago to pick up my car today. I even received a text yesterday reminding me they would be here. Today, when I had not heard from them, I called and they said they could not be here today, (Tuesday) and could not be here until Saturday. They were not even apologetic for not contacting me to tell me there was a change. Avoid this company - there has to be someone better.
This is the most organized Iaa I have ever gone to in my life time
The front desk so mean, rude and not helpful
A good place to buy that rig you cant afford on the lot and fix it up the way you want it for way less money I just bought 2 rigs myself
Had to get some personal things out of a car getting totaled. They were helpful! It takes about 45 minutes, and you should wear rain boots if theres bad weather. They were really helpful!
Specifically the latina lady’s don’t know how to do their jobs. They left me on hold for 49 minutes. They NEVER resolved the problem that I was having. DO NOT come and/or call here.
So after waiting nearly 3 hours to get my 2005 Nissan frontier, I realize the forklift loader crushed in a $500 tailgate ! . all you can do is nothing . I had a similar experience at the new pdx West branch with a $300 tire . I politely told a counter person what had happened. He assured me that a manager would call me back . and if course they did not . Im leaving this review hoping IAA corporate will do something......meanwhile pack a lunch, you will be sitting there for hours, hoping and praying the vehicle you are waiting for doesnt get damaged in the process ! You can do better IAA
Picked up my car I purchased back from insurance. Has more damage than when it was originally in an accident. Car was picked up by forklifts, definitely worried about more damage underneath.
Worst... Auction... ever! You have to wait for them to bring out your vehicle. Prepare to wait all day. Been here an hour now, just waiting for ONE vehicle. An hour and a half now, still waiting. Watched them drop a car off the 2nd stack of a 10 car trailer. Yeah, they forklift every vehicle to move it. Watching them drag tires on the ground on AWD vehicles. Wow. Quality.
Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA )Pro’s:The lady’s in the office have been extremely nice and professional every time I have gone in.Online bidding once you decided on a vehicle. Which is also a con because the site was down twice when I tried to use it. It came back up later but by then it was too late.Con’sExorbitant fees. First one is the initial fee of 200 dollars just to become a member. Then there is a huge fee once you buy a vehicle. I paid 48% in fees for the vehicle I purchase and that did not include the tax.The vehicles are transported around the yard by forklift. You can see the vehicles bouncing around on the forks which could lead to damage. The irony of this one is that one of the fees you pay for is fork lift fee.NeutralVehicle are constantly going in and out of the facility. Once you have bought a vehicle be prepared to wait to receive it on the day you pick it up.I Did not know the vehicle would have to pass a Washington state patrol inspection. Not that big of a deal since the repairs they wanted made I was going to do any way. There can be some good deals there if you are patient. Make sure you do your homework before you join and buy.Your vehicle will have to be towed out of the yard, can’t be driven out. When it says vehicle drives and starts: it means just that. it may run or drive rough. There are not check out by a mechanic.
Insurance Auto Auctions is quite an interesting place, especially if youre looking for a sobering view of how prevalent automobile accidents truly are. It is non-stop action here, especially on auction days. If youre visiting for the first time, take extreme care entering their lot. The most visible entrance is actually an EXIT ONLY, and thats not apparent until youre starting to turn in. This can be quite hazardous if someone is following close behind you.
This new facility has left a dent in our community. Now we get traffic all day long of what was once our quiet back roads now full of loads of vehicles entering and leaving this place. They built this right in the middle of residential zoning. The county should be ashamed that they approved this.
If I could Id give them negative stars called them and they told me the close at 430 pm and when I got here at 415pm they told me they close
Cant look at cars unless you pay 200 dollars. Why would I pay that to find out if you have what I need. Go to Copart. Can view cars just as a member and the sign up is free on their website. Skip this place
This was an extremely difficult task to perform. I had to get the stuff I wanted out of the truck. One good thing did happen while I was there. I found a check that I had forgotten to get cashed. So, YAY!! I really need the money right now, too.
Hectic place b there super helpful people. Be patient, they help everyone, but when someone acts like jerks it can cause a bit of a back up. Dont be an idiot and everything flows just fine. Lots of vehicles.
The latina women that work here are not professional whatsoever. They don’t know how to do ANYTHING. They had me waiting for more then an hour, and never resolved my issue !!
Fast and Friendly
Incredibly hard to ask a simple question over the phone. I Keep getting put on hold just to find out how many days I have until I could pick up the car I won at the auction.
This place sucks if youre looking to pick anything up. You can plan on at least an hour wait but Ive spent at least 3 hours there. Once was because their fuel delivery didnt come and the fork lifts were running out of fuel. They should really come up with some way to let the professional tow truck drivers go back and load the vehicles themselves.
This auction is rediculous, dont buy here they are rude, arrogant and could care less about your business. Waited 4.5 hours to pick up a vehicle and as always only one forklift driver knowing that this auction is one of the busiest. Manager doesnt care nor does he know how to manage the place. So next time if you think about buying here expect to wait the whole day to get your vehicle.
Great staff!
I personally havent experienced IAA like other people on this review list have, however, I found that the customer support through a woman named Nancy was superb, she was on point, responsive and very thoughtful about my questions and I was able to get what I needed within five minutes. But because I havent actually bought anything at IAA I cannot give them a full 5 stars, although if their service was even half as good as Nancys then it is fully deserving of 5 stars.
Great people managing a great auction and service. Ive seen similar auctions that were all in need of copying IAA. NO BETTER AUCTION PERIOD and the uncontested leader in the field
They dont care about cars at all. My oil pan is busted and its a 2nd car Ive got from them. And it said run and drive. I will never buy from them again. Bad employees.
Excellent customer service, I bought a few cars from this Auction, the service is great and you are able to see and check the car before one the Auction date . The online bid is really convenient.
This place get negative 5 stars the people here are a** holes been here for two hours waiting for one vehicle watched 6 other peeps get loaded before me who where here well after I was will never pick cars up here again cant pay me enough
I just pick stuff up here. It can take a while but it gets done and the staff is nice
I had a horrible experience with the Security, I was asked to leave the property and denied my car after I drove 3 hours, I am still unsure why the Security guard acted the way he did but I am still giving IAA a 5 star review because of how easy the buying process is and how the rest of the employees that wittnessed the incident handled and took over the situation when the Security guard was obviously unfit for the job.Needles to say after being followed and yelled at by the Security around their parking lot and repeatetly told I will not get my car back I actually did get my car back and a apology from multiple emploees, I hope the employees that wittnessed all this further discuss this with their manager to make sure this gets fixed.Thank you Matt the forklift driver who chose to go against the Security guards orders and for the apology.Thank you Rob the district manager for the concern and ensuring i wouild be getting my car and offering to talk to me. (Im sorry I couldnt stick around I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me)
Stay away! Save your money. Its mafia. Worst customer service ever. In 2014 I won the bid, they sold the car to lower bidder. I gave a new chance this year. Registered, was about to watch live in order and it said your account is restricted. Spend an hour on the phone. The car was gone by the time they picked up...
I like that place. Employees are helpful. Always.
This is really horrible place to pick up a car. Since they got sub location it became even worse. They dont inform you that their sub lots close at 3 pm and that you need to pick up your paperwork at the main location. On their website it says 8 am-4:30 pm for pick. Managers are careless. I will avoid that auction.
Great place friendly & helpful people
I agree steve Leonchi down in the comments. Vehicles have a lot more damage than it shows on pictures. I bought a car that said runs and drives, when it was brought home the engine was totally toasted (no oil) my guess is that is was driven on the auction without oil as the people who load and move the cars around dont care. Seems that their slogan is Purchase is at as is... as it is garbage and treat them like so
Long slow lines...but services were good.
Office personal is Horrible.Someone is getting kick backs.Took 6 hours to get the car and watch guys show up and get loaded in 45 minutes.
RUDE! Dont bother to request info, they dont reply. RUDE. Buy vehicles at Copart insurance auction in Arlington . Profesionals . Great values
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are soooooo rude there its unbelievable. Literally was told by a girl there, I think her name was Sara as thats the name on my fax sheet that came from them, that Um are you going to listen to me? Are you going to let me speak now or do you want to hang up and was told I was rude all because I told her I already faxed them the parking ticket. I couldnt believe the attitude it was completely obnoxious and disrespectful I cant even reiterate it correctly it was just so rude, honestly never been talked like that by an employee before in my life, it was ghetto and unneeded. It seemed as if she just wanted to fight with someone and it didnt matter what I said. Management should take care of this as I see its been said by almost every other reviewer on here. And on top of it I was transferred three times by all rude people and this was just because I needed them to fax the new owner info to the municipale court for a parking ticket I received for a car i sold to them 1 years ago, which by the way they refused to do at first. I am very concerned there is illegal and fraudulent business being done here so Im in the process of talking with my uncle who is a lawyer for the pentagon, I plan on reporting them to the court and to better business bureau. So these people should really learn respect because they messed with the wrong family 😊 STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, JUST FULL OF RUDE SCETCHY PEOPLE!
Rude and limiting. This facility does not allow early same day preview. What a waste of time. Walking around front of facility to look at cars from a distance through chain link fence got them upset as well. Def won’t be back here.
One of the worst auction experiences. 3 hour wait time and watch out for hidden damages (mechanical damage) and when you confront them about it they cancel your license.
Great front desk
They lied about the car when I bid on it is show rear damage but when I pick up the car had a big front damage as well so instead of disclosing front and back the only disclose the back be careful stay away from this company. Scam artist.....
10 years I buy cars from IAAI, but after 2014, 99% of my biussnes i took to Copart because its redicules all day waiting for ur car, at Copart 15-20 min you gone with ur car. At IAAI if you get lucky 3 hours minimum wait for ur car. If you call carhaulers to pick ur car or tow company, they hear IAAI Seattle answer hell NO. I like Nancy she is the best there, i will miss her but for now on i will stick with Copart.
Good customer service, might take awhile to get the car. i mean, who cares?
I wana say tnx so much. To fork lift driver. Jeremy...a plus. Customer service...you defently. Made my day...
A good place for a good car or truck
Great business, friendly & outgoing staff
Bad customer service. They keep me waiting for 18 mins. and then someone else asking how can I help and I explained my question again and keep me waiting for another 13 mins and then the line was disconnected. I am not happy with this customer service.
If you are considering signing for an account with iaai to bid on cars take me adice and dont do it. The insurance Auto Actions is not a business to trust or seek support when you need it. They are not gonna help you with anything. All iaai cares about is your money and they are known to be very greedy and unscrupulous with various dishonest tactics and schemes to get you to pay money, and a lot of it.I made the mistake of becoming a iaai member almost a year ago. And to this day I regret it. I shouldve sticked with Copart. Copart are far better and have good customer service and can actually help if you ask for it. Not iaai. The schmucks working for iaai dont give a rats asss about you or your problems.First off, if you bid on a car and win it, prepare to pay up to 100% more on top of the winning bid with all kinds of outrageous fees. Unlike Copart, at iaai you will pay tax after all the fees are added. At Copart you only pay tax on the bid amount. The buyer fee at iaai is a lot higher than Copart, so even if you iniatially thought you got a deal on a car you just won after you receive the invoice with the amount to bve paid your smile will immediately disappear. Then there is the storage fee scheme. Its their biggest rip-off. Copart will charge you only $20 a day and will not charge you for weekends or holiday. The fraudsters at iaai will charge you almost $30/day for evry single day weekends included. Why? Cause they are greedy bastards. Remember I said they dont care about you? They attempt to squeeze as much money as they can out of you. This company is a RIP-OFF.Oh, I forgot. If you bid on ca ar online youll pay up to $70 extra for that. They fancily call it internet bidding fee. I dont get it. Are they losing any money or does this rase the cost of operation if you bid online? Of course not! Its a way to get you to pay more. The outrageous buyer fee and loading fee were not enough. Again iaai knows how to trick you into opening your wallet and paying them more and more every time you dont pay attention.I have yet to get a deal on a car. None of the cars I bought at iaai so far were worth the money after I paid through my nose with all the fees added.I could put up with their ridiculous buyers fee but why charge me almost $30 a day for storage and for all the weekend days? Wasnt one day enough? Copart never did that to me. They never charged me for weekends. Yeah, try talk to them. Even the manager at the Tukwila location didnt give a damm when i complained about such injustice.Nahh, I am sick and tired of these idiots who dont care. I made a promise to the smart-ars lady manager at the Tukwila iaa that I will not renew my account if I am charged storage for weekends and will not pay the $200 annual fee. I can do better things with that money.I advise anyone to stay away from iaai Insurance Auto Auctions. You dont waana deal with fraudsters. If you really feel the need to buy a car at an auction you will be better off getting it through Copart. Copart are just as much a bunch of sorry-arsses big money operation but they are not as greedy and unethical. In other words if you want to know what its like to be ripped off and kicked in the stomach go with iaai.Trust me. Save your money and dont lose your mind after some junk that you could easily find on craigslist for a lot less money. And with a clean title.
Stay away, Do Not buy from them, rigged....... Erika and this branch is 1 of the worst branches of IAA, i would strongly recommend dealers and buyers to go elsewhere examples Copart, TRA, ETC.... Stay away.
Awful business, customer is in no way a priority. Their customer support is one of the worst Ive ever had to deal with right up there with debt collectors. Management isnt any better.. Will never come back. Copart is leagues above and will most definitely take business from these amateurs.
I found the fees a bit annoying, spent too much eventually.Btw, have recently stumbled upon Repokar and sold there my old Toyota minivan, wanted to get rid of it for ages and finally did that.
Customer service is horrible at this location. Shawna clearly does not like her job. Dont put her in front. Overall, the place is huge and wait time was not so bad for me to retrieve items from my car.
I went to pick up my 2005 Mazda 6 and it took 15min to get car out and get all paper work done, Im happy with this place so far
This place is awesome...
There fee is to expensive. I bought 3 cars two of them for 300 and then one for 400 So the total fees came out all together 1900 and and 50 plus dollors.
Good price and excellent people.
Many cars for cheap BUT NO TAKING PICTURES And NO SANDALS
Purchased a vehicle, checked it out before I did of course. When I came to pick it up, someone keyed the whole passenger side of the car... Come on, how bad is your security? This will cost me a grand to fix!
Horrible service, no communication nearly impossible to get ahold of them wont use them again.
Lied about when my check was going to be received. They shipped it as slow as possible, when I was told by multiple women, even there supervisor that work there that it would be expedited. Would not do business with this company.
Great place for getting cars for action
I had the worst experience at this place .they will charge you almost double for a car that you bid on .twice i won the bid on a car and buy the time i left i paid twice as much from all the hidden fees and taxes,oh and dont forget the pull out fee, for example if you won a car for $500 you will end up paying $900+.
I have never met people this rude in my entire lifeRude women very very rude
Very slow customer service. Slow to load. They say open at 8am and at 8:10 still not receiving customers. Kind of rediculous.
Great place and very helpful.
Quite organized
