This hotel was very luxurious with soft beds and bedding, thermostat controlled AC, nice lighting and a beautiful view of the marina. There was a balcony with a door with 2-way lock (non-smoking) where you can enjoy fresh air and the view. There was no lock on the bathroom door and my 2 year old hasnt leaned boundaries yet, so that was cumbersome but they did provide me with a nice crib for her to sleep. Our room had an updated bathroom as well as a tub with the shower which I was very thankful for. The tv was nice and big, with a variety of channels and the ability to log into my streaming services as desired. Check out was nice and late at 12pm and we were able to check in just before 3pm. I would recommend this hotel but it was a bit pricy for my taste, I had to split with a girlfriend from out of town at $216 for 1 Saturday night but worth it for a bit of relaxation and peace.

Nice place, clean, quiet rooms. Tiki Bar & Grill is just on other side of parking lot. Walking out on pier is beautiful at sunset, and evening hours. Great place to get away for a few days.

Well located and slightly modernized, and within walking distance of both downtown and the water. Breakfast is made to order, and the complimentary coffee is by the elevators.Front desk staff were attentive and knew how to handle government travel, and the waitresses at the restaurant were good at judging the clientele and not crowding or bothering you.I stayed in a balcony suite, and my only complaints are A) the lack of decent sound insulation - Tamiami Trail gets a fair amount of noisy traffic (lifted trucks mostly) that travels to the top floor, and B) the room I was in could use a bit of a touchup.I wouldnt have any issue staying again or recommending the property to someone I knew.

We stayed. 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. The Staff was excellent, very helpful and welcoming. Our Room was nice,clean, with a great view. My only complaint would be the water smells like suffer, the pool needs draining a few inches, its over the filter level and does not Rid the pool of little bugs.They need to vacuum the pool daily as there were leaves on the bottom. Clean up the pool and Hot Tub and I would give it 5 🌟Love Love the Tiki Bar by the water...When they have bands there at night. Parking is ruff..The hot tub seems dirty...

Staff right off the bat are the best I have experienced in Punta Gorda. Their dinning options and bar selection are top shelf. Good pours by an excellent mixologist. The tiki bar is a favorite among the regulars that stay here. You will enjoy your stay.

Stayed here 4 nights for a business trip. Decent, upscale lodging. Still dont have daily maid service unless you request it.Pillows were amazing, seemed like down, warm and comfortable. Sheets, on the other hand were stiff and course. Reminded me of wax paper, but a step above.A/C was ice cold, which I assume most people would like, but it was too cold for me.The shower was like a fire hose, but there was always hot water available. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were in dispensers mounted on the wall. The conditioner was so thick that I had to open the lid to scoop it out; wouldnt dispense. Wonder how many other people did the same thing.The people at the reception counter were always nice and helpful. I tried to order takeout the first night at the bar and the female bartender pretty much ignored me while I stood there for about 10 minutes, didnt make eye contact, didnt say she would be right with me, flatout pretend I wasnt there. I had to speak up to get her attention and ask for help. Not good customer service.

The hotel restaurant and rooms were excellent; the location was terrific. However, we had an awful experience with the manager Craig Holt. We stayed in the hotel about a month ago, and my daughter had an accident in the pool regarding its maintenance. We talked to the staff at the front desk who tried to help us, and when we spoke to the manager Craig Holt, about this issue, he was incompetent. He blamed my little daughter for what happened while she was crying because of this accident. Never apologized for what happened on behalf of the hotel and maintenance. Nor offered a solution. I cannot understand someone in charge of the functionality of a hotel that is not empathetic with guests when an incident happens. We have always been part of Marriot Bonvoy and never had an experience like this before.

We love this hotel and it’s location. We have gone here for the past two years for our anniversary. We stayed there last night and made sure to put the “do not disturb “ sign on the door as we both like getting up early for breakfast and going back to sleep for a bit when traveling.Needless to say the maid came beating on the door HOURS before check out and CONTINUED to beat on the door until I opened it. She asked what time we were checking out….by this time I was irritated. I pointed to the “do. It disturb” sign and then she asked me again what time we were leaving. I just looked at her and said “noon” which is checkout time.Why in the world is it ok to beat on the door until it’s answered with a DND sign in the door HOURS before checkout?I spoke to management who didn’t seem to understand that it was a big deal. I am very disappointed.

Another great time at the Four Points Bar. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic! I just love the bar tender Tina and server Heidi, two really awesome ladies! Thanks for a great night cant wait to see you next time!

Positive: I liked that we had a frige and microwave. The lobby coffee shop gave us a carafe of decaf both mornings. I thought the courtyard with with the dripping lights at night was so pretty. Free parking. Convenient to Fishermens Village. Negative: This hotel is less than 100 from Highway 41. Every time a motorcycle went by during the night, it woke me up. If your a light sleeper like I am, dont stay here. Dont miss the turn for this hotel or you will have to cross the bridge.

My wife and I were there just for dinner. The waitress was quick with our drinks and taking our order. We were patient, it was an awfully long wait but our dinners were served. Our salads only arrived after pointing out that we didn’t get them. After we finished eating the long wait continued. I had to get up and ask for my check. The waitress was apologetic and gave us free deserts. We had the check but she never came back to process my credit card. Never once during our meal did our waitress ask how was our dinner or if we needed anything else. We may have gotten a cocktail or after dinner drink but we didn’t have the opportunity to order one. I can not understand why we were ignored. Could be something I said? Doubtful there was almost no interaction between us and our waitress. I wanted to pay with a credit card but I dared not because it may have taken days or at least to closing to get it back. Fortunately I had the cash. Good food, service sucked, waitress tried to make it right but forgot us.

Tub wouldn’t drain. Pillows were awful. Office carpet tiles didn’t line up, the dirty floor underneath, between the tiles could be seen. Couldn’t park within a reasonable distance and avoid getting drenched when it rained. Won’t stay here again. The only good things were the staff and lobby.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.. great location.. staff was excellent.. rooms were great.. we didn’t want to leave. We will be back!

Stayed here 2 nights during a business trip. Checkin and checkout took forever. Computer delays, printer problems and lack of staff is hurting their ratings. In addition, the bar register suffered the same delays. Decent rooms that were clean & well presented. The hotel could use some updating. Nice waterfront area with bars along the River.

Staff was incredible, very friendly and accommodating, they really went out of their way for us when we left something behind. Room was just okay. Scuffed up walls and furniture but the views are great.

I will tell you one thing that online travel agents dont want u to know about. When booking hotels use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ Theyve got the best deals on resorts! Much better than using expedia, tripadvisor, agoda. No doubt about that!!!Super clean and staff was excellent!! They went above and beyond to accommodate us!!

Our stay was good until the last day. We had a very bad experience with the staff abd hot tub. When we got out of the hot tub our swimwear, skin and hair was blue. We went to the front desk to complain about it and they told us to come the next day so we could talk to the manager. We talked to Craig Holt, the manager, the next day and showed him the pictures of the blue hot tub, our blue swimwear and blue hair and he laughed. He said they checked the hot tub chemical levels and were in perfect condition so they are not responsible. Which was a lie as we spoke to the guy in charge of the pool maintenance and said they haven’t checked it yet for that day. We explained to him that there was something in the water turning everything blue (might be some paint residue i dont know) and he kept ignoring us, making fun of my accent and did not gave us any solution. Moreover, the borders of the hot tub were dying blue (check picture) therefore there was something in the hot tub tinting everything into that color but the manager kept denying and ended up being very rude to us (telling us to go back to our country etc). This was very disappointing for us as we are Marriot Bonvoy members and never had a problem like this before. The hotel was good, in a good location. But Craig Holt was not professional at all, and couldn’t give us a solution for something that was clearly the hotels responsability.

Loved the pot roast for $12.95. Great deal. My husband ordered baby back ribs that turned out to be St Louis ribs. Not good. You cant go wrong with fish fry all you can eat.

Service/Staff was kind and friendly. What needs work here are the rooms. You can hear a pin drop on the floor above you...The doors are so heavy, they slam every time anyone goes in/out of their room.... The electrical engineering and layout of the room is totally disorganized... Room was not totally clean and no plastic bags in any trash bins, flooring was coming up and you can tell a section had already been repaired, for an elderly person or someone with a difficult gait, this would be considered a liability. If you are looking to get some good R&R go elsewhere!! Wont go here again unless its to help give advice on revamping the space.

I stayed a weekend at Sheridan Miami a few years ago and had a terrible experience sleeping due to the uncomfortable brand of mattresses in their rooms. This was a weekend of discomfort, agony and torture. I decided I wouldnt put myself through such horrific nightmare never again. Years later I attempted to try a different location at Sheridan Punta Gorda, FL. During this most recent stay, while sleeping I tossed and turned so much to the point of wanting to try sleeping on the bathroom tiled floor 🙄 To my surprise, my wife said she also struggled sleeping throughout the night. My recommendation to the Sheridan Corporation is to make an intelligent corporate decision and upgrade by using better quality mattresses.

We give it three stars as they were accommodating with the wheelchair and other requests with my disability.

Only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that its location is centrally located to a lot of great places to walk.The room was not very clean. There was food on the fridge door exterior and microwave door exterior. Towels and bath robes had hairs on them.The wall mirror in the bathroom seems to have been purchased from a fun house.The waitstaff at the restaurant for breakfast is understaffed and the food takes long to order and receive (and once time not even receive).If you need or make any requests (i.e. towels or maintenance) expect to have to make them multiple times to get them completed.The water out of the bathroom faucet smells very sulfuric. And the water pressure in the shower is very inconsistent as is the temperature.It is unclear to me why a resort fee is charged for this basic hotel.One last note, Marriott status at this hotel appears to have no value.

This place was just ok- I definitely was expecting better. First of all idk what hotel doesn’t have house keeping everyday but that was a first. We didn’t have enough towels in the room for 4 people and the toilet was clogged so they had to come fix it. The restaurant and bar have last call and hour before they close and employees were always eager to get out of there. We missed breakfast and dinner because the hours are crazy, not sure if that’s a Florida thing? A plus was they have a pool and gym if you need those accommodations. The staff was also friendly but in totality it was not worth it, I will find somewhere else to stay next time I come visit my family.

Asked for an early check in, didn’t get it.Understandable ! Had specifically called and asked for balcony room, didn’t get that either. Now stuck here for 2 days without a view or a nicer room.

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: The check in staff said park on either end of building. After finding no parking spaces left except spots marked with cones, we found out from someone parking cars that as guests we can move the cones. Gal at check in should have mentioned that.

The hotel and everyone there were really nice. The free bike rentals is a nice touch. We LOVED the tiki bar that was right next door too.

The Tiki Hut is between the Peace River and The Four Points Hotel in Punta Gorda, FL. It’s the go to place for fun, volley ball, drinks and light food. Large tables surrounded by comfortable wooden chairs, fire post heaters and some middle of the table fire pits. There is outdoor eating and drinking as well as food service under the shaded tiki hut. The views are magnificent, right on the water front. They sometimes have large screen football games and a large stage set up for great bands, also a smaller stage for nightly music.This is a place that you have to take your out of town guests. The age range is wide open, families, singles and seniors with everyone having a blast. You have to love it.

We didnt actually go here. This is a good access point for the Punta Gorda Harbor Walk. It has great views and lots of great places to eat within walking distance.

Positive: Easy access to highway also meant terrible road noise by pool and hot tub. It does have great internet and TV including YouTube and Netflix availability. . Negative: We stayed there 5 nights and they did not offer housekeeping during our stay. We had to get our own towels, coffee, toilet paper etc.,wet towels piled up. Our room was miserable. Spent way too much for the lack of service we received! Stay somewhere else.

Great location. Parking is a nightmare. The rooms were nicely decorated, but the beds were very uncomfortable. The music from the tiki bar made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. The staff were very uncoordinated and the shuttle service was unreliable. Not worth the money.

Where do I begin. The shower head was old and outdated. The water pressure was weak and the water temp barely got hot.House keeping knocked on the door at 9am, 10am, and again at 11am when checkout isnt until 12. They were very loud cleaning the rooms next to you and not very considerate. Way over priced for what you actually get. The prices are inflated due to it being season. Dont waste your money.

Cares strictly about the money rather than guest. This resort gives a good show online but its nothing more than a modern hotel with a bar outside. Would have spent well over $800 there this week but the hotel would not over look a banking issue on a federal holiday whilst banks were closed. When push comes to shove guest happiness was not a priority and cash was worthless 🤯. Your money is better spent across the street at the wyvern. Management couldnt even navigate an online reservation then upon coming to the hotel work out a bank issue. If you need a room stay here, if you want service and luxury go to wyvern.

I went to the restaurant inside the hotel and got super bad food poisoning from the pot roast I ordered. Super disappointed👎🏻👎🏻

I am Hilton Diamond status And enjoy those benefits, however this specific hotel has me considering a move to Bon Voy.First the service my husband and I receive from the ladies in management and Michelle a and the rest of the front desk staff have all been terrific. Each special request we have made has been greeted with a can do attitude, which on a long road trip is a welcome relief! We have greatly enjoyed each stay. The property is beautiful and has a tiki bar that is wonderful & right on the water. Rooms are terrific and beautifully decorated, the Ethernet connection is key! The hotel is very clean and well taken care of, staff (like Michelle) make the difference!!!

Very nice place. Very clean and the personnel are friendly. The only problem I had was parking my car. The entry and lot are a little confusing.

The barn style sliding bathroom door in each room was a TERRIBLE IDEA! The door does not lock, you dont get any bathroom privacy while doing your business, its super loud & shakes the entire room when opening or closing. If you are trying not to wake up everyone in the room, forget about turning on the bathroom light because it will light up the entire room. Seriously what was this interior designer thinking! This bathroom door ruined my hotel experience. If you will be staying with other people or family members in a room id suggest a different hotel.

Best stay I had in Florida! Wonderful outdoor pool and hot tub with fountain. Rooms large, clean, well decorated, nice TV. But the best was the bartender and food at the restaurant in the hotel. She is amazing, wish I had her name, very personable and I felt so safe and comfortable. I am newly widowed and she really made me feel welcome. And the hotel chef...oh my Gosh! They had Poutine, my favorite dish from Montreal, and it was delicious. Lastly there is a huge Tiki Bar overlooking the bay, the Mai Tai was delicious and had alcohol in it. The Tiki Bar has all the big wooden beach chairs in the sand facing the bay and we all watched the sun set. Gorgeous. And suddenly 2 dolphin appeared - swimming, jumping in the air, and flapping their tails. I cant wait to stay there again next year!

The facility was amazing! Food was delicious!! Wes is an amazing, creative chef!! The food was out of this world! Tina, Dan & Billy at the bar/restaurant, well, there really are no words! So welcoming, inviting, friendly and very professional. In my short stay, they all made me feel as if we’d all been friends for 10 years. Both Karen’s at the front desk along with Destiny I believe was her name and her sister, consistent smiles and pleasantries. The room was very clean, view was awesome and the hotel over all was an A+..... Thank you! Lastly, to whomever may receive this survey, kindly advise your upper management, you should be proud of your team, they exemplify your brands image! I’m not sure where or how this team arrived under one roof, but don’t let them go. Keep up the awesome work!Bravo Zulo

Just love sitting by the water and rooms clean

Visiting friends and had lunch there. Very clean hotel on pretty riverfront. Nice river walk and next to a lot of great restaurants. Sand volleyball court in back by Tiki bar is fun and pool, although small was perfect to cool off on a hot day. Nightly rates were very reasonable.

The hotel is a solid choice, for the discriminating traveler. I mean that in the absolute nicest way. If you enjoy fine wine and good food, the hotel is an absolute must. I need another Four Points Pretzel... asap! The hospitality is very good, as well as the access to bikes and the harborwalk. We had a great time. Just make sure you dont miss the turn!

The view was amazing and the staff was also great but the quality of my room well lets just say I reserved a king room but the next day I went to the front desk & upgraded paired to upgrade but downgraded instead I had to switch rooms 3 times in one day because broken tables then my aplinances wasnt working & their was aintd all over the furniture. So I checked out 2 days early needless to say. But again the staff & the view was amazing I loved it.

Side facing street /water gets traffic noise. The window area can be used for sitting to look at boats in water, discretely covered HVAC unit. Quality towels, very large bathroom, large room for 2 queen beds. Attentive, helpful front desk and housekeeping staff. Comfy pillows and beds. Great location for event we were attending. Would stay again.

Visited the Dockside restaurant for a Friday fish fry special. Food was great. Megan was an excellent waitress!

Hotel staff was very curt in all interactions. We tried to get breakfast one morning at the hotel and after nearly an hour and a half (I sat down at 730, we finally left after 9) we had only received one bowl of oatmeal. Also, my room had an insect infestation in the bathroom. This is not a place I would ever book again.

Although its right next to the main highway, the views of the marina are beautiful. You can go out to the Tiki Hut to watch the sunset while enjoying a drink.The staff were very friendly.I would definitely stay here again.

I arrived later in the evening and was traveling alone to a city I’d never been to in my life. Though it was surprising to me Four Points by Sheraton didn’t have an airport shuttle at 9:00 pm I was able to secure an Uber. The driver was excellent, and I arrived at the Four Points by Sheraton in Punta Gorda, FL just in time to enjoy a delicious salmon/vegetables supper. Pork was the special of the day but the cook and wait staff accommodated kindly with salmon. The bartender and waiter were friendly and helped me to feel comfortable. The room was large and clean and the air was set comfortably cool; after all it was July 18 in Florida! Though there were some loud voices later in the evening they stopped. Breakfast was delicious and again, provided many options from continental to special order from the menu. The waitress was super efficient and made sure I wasn’t rushed. I relaxed for a short time along the poolside that morning and also secured a free shuttle to the airport thanks to a very helpful young desk clerk. The driver was cordial and I enjoyed his Punta Gorda historical highlights he provided along the way back to the airport. Overall I highly recommend Four Points by Sheraton for your stay along the gulf side of FL in quaint and friendly Punta Gorda!

I would have liked to have had room service. Limited grab and go menu was disappointing. Having to have help to gain access to the pool/spa sucked. The lack of wait staff at the dockside grill and the tiki bar made for long waits. Bringing most people at the table food and there being a 5 minute wait before others at our table got food was horrible. The location was excellent and the front desk staff was great. Loved the pantry items offered at the desk. The food was very good. The free bikes made it easy for many in my group to easily reach most of the city.
