Can’t say enough good things about this place. Dropped in while on vacation and was welcomed like family. I now have a place to train and see my new friends every time I’m in Punta Gorda. As a BJJ instructor myself I can also the training and knowledge here is very special. The level of detail and insight found here isn’t something you find everywhere. If you’re looking for a place to begin or continue your martial arts journey, you just found it.

I have been to a lot of schools over the course of my life. It’s all about having a curriculum. It’s sad but a lot of places don’t have a curriculum. Folks in the USA love structure. Another thing to consider is how are you treated by the students. Students will always be a reflection of their professor/instructor. The students are nothing short of accommodating and are very patient. I showed up a very rusty blue belt. I was expecting to ridiculed due to being out of shape and just not having my Jiu Jitsu chess game like I use too. Instead, I was welcomed in like family. His purple belts showed me what I was doing wrong. The professor also corrected some mistakes I was making. All of this was done in a professional manner. The way Professor Delman teaches is easy to understand. His instruction is practical . I can say if you really want to learn Jiu Jitsu and be a legit competitor or just someone who wants to protect themselves this is your home. I knew on the first day this place was for me. It’s was 50% the instructor and 50% his students. Especially the higher ranked students . You will be treated like FAMILY here. The cost is very competitive. I recently changed from Alliance Jiu Jitsu to this school due to a work promotion. I feel so lucky knowing I am at a legit BJJ school.

Im usually a chauffeur for my dad when I take him to the Jutsu in his vehicle but sometimes Im a little Rusty since I dont have a vehicle and I have to borrow my dads vehicle every time I take him to Jiu-Jitsu or go to the store

Top OF THE LINE INSTRUCTOR does NOT teach bullshitto martial arts MR Carvalho has verifiable lineage with a real black belt with real fighting experience and has trained in brazil and teaches real world scenarios sorry no death touches here lol .why not learn true brazilan combat fighting from the real deal and he gives the first week free but leave your kung fool outfit at home all sweat and real technique here

Outstanding gym and staff. BJJ, boxing, MMA, Muay Thai. Instructor is genuine Brazilian, black belt with Gracie lineage. Lots of families bringing their kids for self-defense and self-confidence. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

One of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools in Southwest Florida. Professor Delman is incredibly knowledgeable, and has a passion for Jiu Jitsu. Anyone would be lucky learn Jiu Jitsu from one of the best around. There is a difference between Jiu Jitsu, and GOOD Jiu Jitsu, and this is without a doubt the best.
