Great place to learn artistic expression in many media.The gift shop is an excellent source for one of a kind gift or decor.I spent a couple series of classes on the potters wheel with helpful guidance from Steve. Good fun! I plan to brush up on new painting techniques in the fall.

I went because my wife was interested in going to the open house and I must say that I really enjoyed it its a beautiful building some really nice people I believe they all volunteer. And my wife is looking forward to some of their classes for her painting.

Great place! My first time visiting. One piece of art caught my attention. This artist did a scratchboard (?) of John Lennon, George Harrison and Stuart Sutcliffe - the Beatles in their early Germany years. This was before they met Ringo or even their manager Brian Epstein. I found it interesting that Sutcliffe was put in color, whereas John and George were in black/white. The artist must have a special interest in him, because he died tragically young from a brain aneurysm.He and Lennon were friends who met at the same art school. Beatles fans would like this particular piece

Really nice local art displayed and all is for sale. We went in to look and walked out having spent 500 on art. They also offer classes.

Wonderful venue to browse and view various art exhibits. Amazing gift shop filled with local artists work. So calming and beautiful. Many classes available.

What a lovely experience! Its nice to see local artistry on display. There are always new exhibits going on, and plenty of different mediums to view. The classes seem robust, though we havent taken one personally. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop!

This art center is a non-profit organization featuring local artists of all kinds, and offers a variety of classes as well. The building is large and beautiful, with several galleries, and a gift shop for purchasing locally made items. What a nice place to visit!

The Arts Center is a combination of a gallery and a series of workshops for fine arts including ceramics. It is a beautiful building situated just across from Fishermans Village in Punta Gorda. It is a very nice place to stop in and look around. You can also walk over from Linear Park.

OMG. a must go place. The art work is the mood. From stained glass to pottery to oil and watercolors...the art work is inspirational. We are fortunate to have such amazing artists. And the best part is they offer classes! Artwork changed every month. And the ppl are so fun, and pleasant.

Saw an art exhibition exhibition there and it was outstanding... wish they were more like that in this area. Just outstanding.

I love this place, and every time I go, I get to see wonderful artwork and I can also get great opportunities with my artwork from being a student, like rewards, scholarships and probably more. You can take classes there over the summer and its very exciting and you get to learn something you have never done before, so I think its really worth it to go see the Visual Arts Center.

I visited this center twice over the weekend. The lay out is perfect and allows for a comfortable stroll through the galleries. Some of the art is available for sale at affordable prices! The gift shop offers nice items as well. Fill your house with beautiful art made by a local artist instead of mass manufactured items from overseas!
