Love the place, music was calming, relaxing and appropriate. Brought my 6yr old son for a fade and it really looks great. Im pretty sure all the barbers here are good but high recommended Matt. He wasnt done at the time but I took the picture anyways.

Got my haircut by a guy named Louis that works here absolutely awful didn’t give me at all what I asked for and my sides are uneven never coming here again! If I could give a 0 star I would!

Best Place to get cut... Period

Im from out of town visiting my parents. I came to this place in Thanksgiving week in 2019. I went for a shave (bald) for my head, trim of my goatee and shave on my sides. Like last time. They did a awesome job last year. Thats why I returned to Steel City Barber Lounge. The shave my head, I expect to be smooth, it wasnt, rough minority of my head. Shaving on my sides miss spots. My goatee mustache area was trim, left side was shaved off, right in tack, chin area not trim at all. For $40+ dollars, I was very disappointed in my haircut. Maybe thats why he didnt give me the hand mirror to look at my shave.

Louis is great barber. Environment is nice. And they follow covid guidelines.

She is punctual and polite caters to her client in her chair. Cuts are always on point, and makes herself available. Rachel has been my barber for quite some time and always does a great job! I personally can be very picky about my hair and beard and she has yet to disappoint me! Lets call this 3 1/2 stars. Nice place and their work is good. I was expecting to pay what the prices are at the sister location, but it was a bit higher and there were no pricing boards anywhere so I didnt know until the job was done.

Gone are the 5 dollar cuts of yesteryear. Im getting older and haircuts are getting pricier. Im just going to let my hair grow until the end if time.

Came here as a walk in from out of town and these guys were super friendly and took me in quickly even with a huge crowd for Saturday.Mike, was quick and efficient. He cut my hair the way I wanted it, with a zero fade. Great service and friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good fade in this area.

Rachel was phenomenal in every way! I recently moved here from Va and was looking for someone who took pride in their artistry. She definitely does, and knew the hair products as well. Rachel has cut my hair twice now. Very attentive and listens to what I want. It’s hard to find someone that cuts my hair the way I want, I’m picky. And love a straight razor. So I’ll be a client forever with her. The shop atmosphere is great as well. Everyone is friendly.

My son likes this place for his cut, But I didnt feel like we got good service we came for a appointment at 3 sat and waited till almost 4 oclock,Before I myself had to ask if the lady if she was the person we had a appointment with, Isnt there a system for calling and keeping track of your business and appointments? Sat there while all 3 of the barbers just sat on their phones, One of them could have asked is if we needed help but nope nada...Sadly my son will have to find a more attentive place to get a haircut or at least one that makes it a point to welcome the customer and make sure the stylist knows we are there

Overpriced. Was charged $25 for a $15 haircut. I wouldn’t have minded paying the $25 if it was worth it. It wasn’t. It was a mediocre fade. Then the guy next to me was charged the same for an even worse haircut.

Hot towel shave is where its at! My boyfriend loved it... not to mention it made him handsome! Need a shave this is the place to go. Really relaxing and the quality is definitely worth the price. No matter what you get you will be satisfied.

Called in on a Monday to get an appointment for my son and BF to be scheduled for the weekend. Making the apt. Was easy except when we got there Saturday, they told us they had NO appointment scheduled for either of them!! They said theyd get to us but we waited an 1.5 hour before they told us they couldnt fit us in, because walk-ins are to hard to do on a weekend... Only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were apologetic and gave us a coupon for our troubles but that doesnt completely makeup for their unprofessionalism in scheduling.
