We rented a tiller got to our garden and it wouldnt spin fast enough to make a dent in our moist soil. We called and they said ya most of their tillers are down. Gah! Why didnt they tell us when we rented it? So we Drove back half hour where they showed us another that was a stronger one, it cost more but whatever. Got back to the garden and it was the same issue! Wasted 6 hours of our lives trying to do something that didnt end up even happening ๐
They are always helpful and patient, and take the time to fully help each rental customer.
Fine, but they took so long to figure out the billing and such, I got charged an extra 5 bucks
Helpful and friendly. Had what we needed and helped us load it and get on our way. Not fast, because they make sure every person has what is needed. No rushing you.
Absolutely a horrible experience with the rental department. Rented a piece of equipment when I got to the job site the machine would not start so i had to take it back (2 hour round trip). I had to wait an hour to get the machine fixed. Finally got back to the job site and I noticed the the attachments they sent did not fit the machine. Another trip back to home Depot and spoke with a manager who told me the best he could do was reset my time from the time I left with the right attachments. I lost almost a full day of wages having my employee sit and wait on a job not to mention my time and gas to run back and forth.
Practically live here now that Im rebuilding my basement. They always have what I need and are generally pretty helpful. There are a few old codgers that dont seem to want to be bothered with questions, but once you corner them, theyll help you.Tool rental is awesome too!
Kind people hard working people.. But for the sake of the company please send more people to help the tool rental department. Two older hard working men cannot inspect, clean, check in and out tools n vehicles. This is ridiculous for 45min wait for a hand-held snake.. I was not the only one either.. Please make sure to schedule and bulk up on fri, sat n holidays...
If you are going to have the tools for any ammount of time over 2 days its worth it to just buy them yourself. 50 bucks for 2 days on a crappy wet dry vac. I should have just bought one.
Great crew. Very helpful and accommodating. Will use again.
I am a contractor and have shopped at provo and orem locations for the past 13 years and have a commercial account. I probably spend 30,000.00 to 40,000.00 dollars a year and always buy ridgid tools. Service is generally good, sometimes the people dont know that much about your construction needs but thats the same at all stores and eventually you can find someone who knows what your talking about and as I said thats the same with all hardware stores and in general they are better than most. My complaint is the tool rental at this location, I rented a power washer, and couldnt get it to run,I spent about a half hr. on the phone and still couldnt get it to work, So I brought it back expecting to not have to pay the rental fee since I didnt even use it. Yes it was my fault I had put the fuel knob on the off position, the on label was on the left side and I didnt see the arrow pointing to the right. Anyway the employee said since it was my fault even though I was unable to use the washer I had to pay for the rental. And treated me like I was an idiot for not being able to figure it out and was a real jerk about it. Congratulations home depot you just lost my business forever, the home owner, who had a H.D credit card and my brothers commercial account over $53.00 dollar rental. Im sure you can care less about losing a few costumers oh well your lose is Lowes gain I will never step foot in a Home depot again, sucks to cause I loved your tools.
Liam in Tool Rental YOU ROCK!
Well
