My girlfriend and I celebrated our first year together with a gondola ride in Providence. This memorable experience was made complete with the wonderful violinist. The ride is 40 minutes and we had such a great time that it felt like 10

This was river ride was a great break from the crazy parking and bustle of downtown. The river is below the street so there was virtually no road noise, making for a serene mini adventure. The staff was very nice and knew a lot about the buildings and history of the river and town. Our gondolier was also a great singer. We enjoyed the songs and under bridge acoustics during our ride very much.

We had a fabulous ride, even better than expected. Definitely make a reservation and get their 15 minutes before your time - they will take you early if able. We enjoyed our drinks, but were too busy enjoying the ride to eat so we went for a picnic afterwards.

We had a wonderful time. 3 couples one gondola Not during water fire. Giovanni, our Gondler sang and gave great details about the different areas and sites. Even his boss gave us an under the bridge serenade.

La Gondola was quick and easy to book. The ride was equally relaxing and informative. Our amazing gondolier, Alessandro, provided an historical account of the city and how the docks and bridges were constructed. We were then enchanted by the sweet sounds of he and his brother Marcelo serenading us as we glided along the canal. I highly recommend this for a romantic tour.

A fun and unique way to see downtown Providence and hear much of its history. Plus 2 beautiful arias performed by our fantastic gondolier.

Me and my family went on a gondola ride yesterday before the Waterfire lighting and it was truly a wonderful experience. Our gondolier had an amazing voice and the musician on board was extremely talented. I would definitely take the opportunity to go on another gondola ride in the future and I highly recommend this experience for anyone who is considering it. It is worth every dollar spent!

This gondola ride was absolutely lovely. Our gondolier was courteous and attentive with various details about what we were seeing while traveling along the Providence canal. He also sang a couple of very sweet Italian songs during the ride!!We arrived a bit early for our trip and one of the gondoliers at the dock offered to keep the wine bottle we have brought with us chilled in their cooler until our trip departure. They also made a great recommendation for a coffee shop nearby in which to wait comfortably until our ride. Would highly recommend this experience!

My husband, daughter and I had an absolutely phenomenal experience on a gondola ride last night!! We were in town for a short while and this was a perfect way to end our time there. We learned a bit about Providence, took in the views, enjoyed a couple of beautiful Italian songs sung by our gondolier, drank champagne and enjoyed the complimentary wine biscuits. Would absolutely recommend this!!

Amadeus was our guide and he was such a pleasure. He was professional and so very polite. He sang a few songs with his exceptional vocals and Don played the mandolin. The music made it extra special and the views of the city were great.

My family and I had a wonderful gondola experience with Rosario. We brought a bottle of wine and enjoyed it with the complimentary wine biscuits while Rosario sang romantic Italian songs for my parents as he rowed down the river. When we saw another gondola under the bridge, Rosario and Giuliana (the gondolier on the other gondola) sang a beautiful duet! Towards the end, Rosario even took us into a tunnel as we traveled in semi darkness, which was fun and unique. I would recommend this company if youre looking for a quality romantic experience in Providence.

We cant say enough good things about the whole experience! After my GPS failed, Marcello, making a courtesy call to me, was able to help me navigate the streets of Providence to keep everything on schedule - what a relief. However, our Gondolier Julianne, was able to take our whole experience to the next level! As she navigated the Gondola she offered to sing us the sailors prayer song. She was spectacular to say the least! I could go on but go experience this for yourself.

My husband and I had our first date on La Gondola. Two years later we were married on the same gondola, with the same gondolier AND the ceremony was officiated by Marcello, who was our gondolier on our most recent anniversary ride. Our experience with La Gondola has ALWAYS been wonderful. The staff is super-friendly, professional and care about making the experience one-of-a-kind, every single time. To see Providence from such a different viewpoint is so relaxing and enjoyable.

Theres nothing better if you need to de-stress than gliding down the river in a gondola serenaded by your gondolieri, in our case the beautiful singer and human, Giuliana. The company even called us on its own account to reschedule our ride, because the weather looked iffy for the time we had booked. Gold stars for everyone! We will see you next year!

We had a wonderful time with Marcello, our gondoliere, and Daniela our wonderful accordion player. The gondola left promptly at our time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our time. Such a nice time. Gondolas fit 4 to 5 adults comfortably. Definitely bring something to drink and a snack to have an even better time.

Having the private Gondola ride Viaggio dei Sogni with Enzo was a great experience. Even though I have been living in Providence for a while, I still learnt a lot of interesting things about Providence from a gondolier aspect. He was super cool and professional, the gondola ride wasnt that long, but it was a great afternoon very-well spent seeing Providence from a different side.

If youre a romantic, dont miss this! Beautiful, musical, relaxing. For those who are romantically impaired, take my advice, this is what to do if youre looking to impress with good, old fashioned romance!

Absolutely loved our gondola ride! The gondolier was very nice and I would highly recommend not only the tour itself but our specific gondolier. His name escapes me and maybe theyre all top notch, but he was awesome.

We took a gondola ride yesterday, Wednesday, 9/8, and my family and I agreed that it was the highlight of our visit to Providence. Our gondolier, Mariano, was the most charming and pleasant guide, who entertained us not only with his beautiful baritone rendition of canzoni Italiane but also with his knowledge of the city’s history, music, events, et al. Mariano was simply the best! We would take a gondola ride with Mariano eveytime we’re in Providence. Molto grazie, Signore Mariano!

Alessandro was amazing! Adventurous experiences you dont take the same ones again and again so a lot rides on your leader and Alessandro fulfilled that. He was very knowledgeable, kind and relatable. This was a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday and it couldve gone good, but it went spectacularly! The booking team/management was very pleasant to speak to. Overall experience was 100/100.

A trip to Providence is incomplete without gondola ride through La Gondola. Marcello is very passionate for what he does and makes your experience the best and most memorable one. He is very courteous and took care of all my needs right from phone booking to parking instructions to on boarding the gondola. Enzo was our gondolier, he was very kind & soft spoken and knows the history of the city, buildings and landmarks pretty well. He sang two songs for us through the ride and those were spectacular and we never realized when our 40 mins ride got over. My wife and my friend’s wife were very impressed by Marcello’s and Enzo’s gesture of offering the hand while getting on and off gondola.

A true Providence experience, with traditions steeped in Venician history this water bound outpost is truly one of a kind a must do on your Providence hit list. Forget about it!

This was an absolutely incredible night. Marcello was amazing and made the night so so special. His italian singing was incredible and he told us facts about providence as we went along the river. He sang a personal song for the last and final song for my boyfriend and I and it really made the ride that much better. The biscuits were delicious. I absolutely loved this experience. Went here for the first time it was for my birthday in August. It was very relaxing I went during the night time. I posted it on my social media and the next day friends and family were asking me where was this place! My favorite part of my trip to Rhode Island!! Marcello was amazing and he helped me step by step come up with a plan to propose to my partner and it was perfect! We felt like we were really in Italy, the views were amazing, and the songs were beautiful. We had The Don as our mandolin player and he was awesome. Marcello even had one of his other gondoliers Julia come in to sing a few songs. Their voices were amazing. Everything was perfect. I will be back soon!!

We had a delightful gondola ride with Enzo as our gondolier. He was a really excellent guide, knowledgeable and personable, and the icing on the cake was his wonderful rendition of the song Santa Lucia. The gondola ride itself is not very long, but it is a very pleasant way to spend an hour, enjoying some of the sights of Providence from the river. The gondola was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.

La Gondola took me to my wedding ceremony at Franchescas at Waterplace Park this past September, and I had fantastic experience. Marcello was super easy to work with leading to the event, and the day of the wedding he even sang for me under the bridge. The ride was so beautiful and relaxing, I felt I was in a fairytale. I cant recommend them enough.

My sister and I booked a private ride for our parents 30th anniversary in August. We were blown away by the experience we were provided! Our gondolier was outstanding: very accomodating and professional (not to mention he was a great singer). He truly made us feel like we were in Italy. Covid 19... One of the most depressing times of my lifetime, as we walked and came across this bridge noticing this happy couple smiling and enjoying a peaceful Gondola ride sipping wine, we took interest and asked if there was availability for that evening and was told yes to our surprise. We booked a 7:00 pm Sandolo ride with Marcello who sang to us while the sun was setting. He was full of knowledge made and made the experience that much better. We had limited time in Providence but We wanted to do something meaningful still and get a feel for the city. I came across this on an Internet search and it did not disappoint! Our gondolier was so friendly! He was super knowledgeable and told us about the history of Providence and how it is today. He sang for us and has such a beautiful voice.. really made the experience that much more memorable. He had great suggestions for us in our short time in the city with restaurant recommendations and a cool park with a great city overlook. Would highly recommend this experience, you will not regret it!

The wine biscuits are out of this world and we enjoyed every moment. Me and my boyfriend took a gondola ride for our 4 year anniversary! It was such an awesome ride and our guy was fantastic! I’ve taken a gondola ride in Italy and this is the next best thing!

I travel to RI a few times a year to visit family and decided to take the wife on the La Gondola. Best decision I made in awhile. We LOVED IT! So relaxing, great singing by the owner and wonderful gifts provided during the ride. Highly recommend it. Thanks again to the owner for a wonderful boat ride.

My boyfriend and I had a ride yesterday with Gennaro and it was truly amazing! It was our first parents night out and he definitely made the ride super enjoyable from the moment we met him, he is such a sweet guy and had gave us great tips on where else to sight see, to eat yummy foods and events that happen in Rhode Island (we aren’t from there) and we loved his singing!

My wife and I (28 and 36 years old) stumbled across these folks on an impromptu day trip to Providence. It looked like it could be a fun lark and we asked how much it was for a ride. $40-something for 20 minutes and $80-something for 40 minutes. This seemed like a lot to us, but we were feeling a bit spontaneous and extravagant so we went ahead and booked a 20 minute ride. After a quick run to the wine store to buy some drinks, we came back and got started.OH MY GOD. It was SO MUCH MORE MAGICAL than I imagined it would be. The day was lovely, the gondola was beautiful, our gondolier (Rosario) was SO sweet and SO professional and SO great. Listening to his singing under bridges with the sun reflecting off the water was legitimately one of the best travel experiences in my life (and Ive been around!).I cannot recommend this enough. Even if you are like us and you think cmon, thats just gonna be cheesy and a waste of cash... Im telling you, its really very special.
