Nuvera went above and beyond to get internet installed at our new home in a timely manner. Despite communication issues on my end, Leslie was so helpful and willing to work with me! She was able to get a contractor out to our house, Brent, who was extremely quick and efficient. I am recommending Nuvera to all our neighbors!
Nuvera goes above and beyond to help its customers very understanding and very quick response
I have had Nuvera for about 2 years and have not had a single problem. When I do call them for technical reasons, bill paying, etc., I get the help I want from a patient and knowledgeable person. They seem to understand that Im technically challenged.
Chose Nuvera as my ISP in a new (i.e.
Always closed when I need them. I’ve been trying to contact them for four days now. People work, They need longer hours and more availability. Unfortunately only choice in prior lake
I live in Prior Lake and this company is the only choice for cable. The equipment is very outdated. We have xfinity in Florida, so seeing the 2 companys and what they offer for internet speed and equipment is night and day. 31 dollars just for a land line phone and not having caller ID/waiting/voicemail and charging long distance rates. Must be nice to be a company and be able to monopolize rates on residents in the city youre based out of. I would think that would earn a local resident discount. Thats how we do it with our company.
Ive had pretty good luck with this company. Best thing is their local customer service--you get to speak with a real, local person! Ive had this service for over a year and havent had any major issue. I hear reports of others who say their internet goes out, but I havent experienced it.
I use them for my business lines in Prior Lake. Local, friendly and great services when needed!- BeauXtreme Pest Solutions
Excellent quality of service and super friendly staff. Never an issue with my phone or internet services. My only complaint is their slow rollout of fiber.
Nuvera has been great to work with. I use them for internet service only but it has proven to be more dependable and reliable than others in town. I need something that always works not costs the same and is sometimes fast and sometimes out. Thanks Nuvera team for being the dependable local source
Im paying for 30Mb of Internet speed. Ive measured download speed with all cables removed from their modem and a PC connected via CAT5 to their modem. Download speeds ranged from 19.7Mb to 21.3Mb on 8 attempts. Ive repeatedly complained to Nuvera. Theyve checked things from their end and see nothing wrong (hmmm, how can that be?). Theyve done nothing else but write nice letters that say Thank you for being our customer, we value your loyalty. And, Im thinking If you that were true youd deliver consistent bandwidth that meets or exceeds what Im paying for. The problem is that theyre one of just two games in town and the other people I talk to rate the other company even worse. Im giving them one start for courtesy and easy to read bills but nothing extra for poor speed and low value.
Nuvera deleted my entire recording list! I am Furious!. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
Customer service is sub-par at best. On my 3rd time calling technical support and give up after 20 min each time. How can a customer based company have ZERO customer support!?!?! Upgraded internet speed and upload is worse than before. Would prefer Integra back!!Customer service today is terrible overall and Nuvera isnt any different. Cant wait for the generic reply from the owner. :-)
I have been with Nuvera digital tv for over a year. But had the internet for over 10 yrs. Their internet I do have to say is awesome. But I had worked with their representative on doing a bundle package. We discussed the bundle with internet and adding the HD channels, and entertainment package with movie channels. My bill has been $209 a month. Today I called to cancel the HD channels because we never watch them. The representative I talked to today said, you don’t have those channels. I said, yes I do. She then proceeds to tell me I was getting those channels for free and the movie channels and said if I wanted to keep them they will raise my rates or I had to give them all up. Well of course I don’t want to pay anymore than what I was paying. $209 is all ready a lot. So then they removed my movie channels and HD channels, and I am almost certain they removed many more that was part of the entertainment channels. I was lead to believe I had this bundle package with internet, entertainment channels, and paid extra for the movie channels at $209, to find out over a year later that it was wrong so they are taking all of this away unless I wanted to more a month. $209 is insane already for tv and internet. Their rates is highway robbery. And their rates are different for each city, she was telling me one rate, but I had to argue that the rate I was looking at was for my city, then she said, oh, wait, yes, I’m looking at the wrong town. So then how do I know if my bundle deal was right or wrong?
Very poor connectivity. Can’t use more than one device on WiFi without losing internet connection. Unfortunately, I am stuck with them due to lack of other providers in the area. Would not recommend as a internet provider.
I am very neutral at this point with their service. I have had very bad and good experiences. Depends on who you get on the phone or behind the counter.
One of our TVs was not working. Called tech support on Wednesday they tried to talk me through some things over the phone. That did not work. Then on Thursday I called to see if they figured anything out and I had to leave a message and no one called me back. I then called Friday morning and they said a tech would be out that day and they would call when they were on their way. After six hours of not hearing anything I called back and they said someone would be calling me soon and be on the way......no call, no tech. It is now Saturday and my TV still does not work and tech support charges extra for weekend service so.......this is just bad service and bad support.
I have used Nuvera internet only in Prior Lake for 1 year. Never had a problem. Every time I check speed it is exactly what Im paying for. Even during peak usage times. Prior 4 years I was using Mediacom. Nuvera performance and consistency has been night and day better then Mediacom which had speeds dropping considerably during peak usage times. I am thankful that in Prior Lake we have a choice between Mediacom and Nuvera. Lets hope that choice doesnt go away. thank you. I cant speak for their other services. I have been using googles UTube TV & Netflix combined with a Roku player....good combination. 20MBPS has been good enough for 2-3 HD concurrent video streams. Havent needed to pay for higher speed then 20MBPS.
The worst customer service. They state their tech support is open until 9pm, but they send your call straight to voicemail after 5:30pm.
By far worst internet I have ever had even with the better package when measuring does not come close to advertised and noticeably slow when using.Bad service called four times today and still no response. After hours means everything other than making an appointment. Cant resend a signal if the box or something on their end glitched at night when trying to get work done.Update: ended up waiting days for even a call back to try technical support or anything. We ended up calling another company to set up new internet before Nuvera finally contacted us days later. In 2020 trust someone else with your internet business 100%
This service is terrible. It rarely works and when it does, its slow. I have resorted to using my phone data and Hotspot when I am at home. I need to teach from home because schools are shut down and my students always tell me that they cant hear me because I am constantly freezing. When I run speed tests, I am almost always getting between 2 and 6 mbps.Internet does not reach most of our house and we only live in a 1400sqft townhouse. Customer service is poor because you can never get through. You are better off not having wifi.
They where given 22 million dollars in tax payers dollars. They are a for-profit business with terrible customer service and even worse coverage. I have slow internet access in a major Minneapolis suburb.
Unresponsive, go to all the trouble to send them an email and they do not even respond. regularly have intermittent slow internet but they always say the feed to the house is fine.
Makes me sick that we have no options (or plan) to get high speed internet service here in Prior Lake, not right when entire country has better service other than 1980s coax.
Been having issues with connectivity so they gave me a new modem. Plugged it up and my wifi stopped working. Was basically told that it isnt their problem and i should figure it out. ummm.. How about you guys my internet provider troubleshoot me on my current router... and if that doesent work... REPLACE IT. I spend 80$ a month with you guys for terrible internet.. The least you could do is make sure i can use said terrible internet. Looking for new isp as we speak
Works great so far. Hope it continues.
It’s really no surprise Nuvera has such a low rating on google. My experiences mirror those of other customers. The day Integra was bought out/merged was a sad day for the people in this market. Integra had no monthly fee for “modem rental” or “static IP address”, Nuvera charges $2.99 and $15 per month respectively. Don’t bother leaving voicemails, no one will return your call. I had a phone appointment to speak with a technician set up 5 days in advance and received no phone call during the 2 hour service window. Stopping in to the office is equally useless. I had a question regarding service in my area and was passed along to tech support, who tried to pass me to the sales department. Ultimately I was told a supervisor would be in contact with me regarding my question.... I’m not holding my breath. I anxiously await the day Nuvera has more serious competition in this market. People remember how they’re treated. Two thumbs down.*updateOver three months later and still haven’t heard from a supervisor regarding my question.
Nuvera is quite possibly the worst internet imaginable. I consistently have 150 ping in video games and every time we upgrade nothing seems to happen. Spend your money elsewhere
The internet connectivity is terrible.
I haven’t had any issues with internet use. I appreciate how easy it is to pay my bill over the phone and customer service is usually pretty pleasant. It’s true there aren’t many options for internet here, but the prices are manageable compared to other companies in other locations.
It has its issues here and there, but it’s so much better than the other big boy internet companies in my area.
I never knew how good I had it with Integra. Been on hold for tech support over 15 minutes and subjected to hearing “Your call is very important to us.” every 30 seconds. This is crazy. Will be looking at other options for cable tv. It’s not worth it to be subjected to such poor customer service.
The service is never consistent. One day I have full internet connection, the next I have poor connection. Every day around 7pm the connection buffers all the time. Will be switching asap.
I just had them out to hard-wire several jacks in my house (there were existing wires run) since we went to internet YouTubeTV. Both techs were wonderful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Eric sure knew what he was doing and solved all the issues very quickly. I have great internet speed with Nuvera.
I see the negative reviews and dont get it. I get the 20mg wireless only and it it consistently delivering only 18. Have had a couple calls on it however better then cable. Good value, good people, good service.
Nice customer service. Good phone service. Cant figure out there Internet though. Recently bought out by Nocera. Interested to see if they remain with a small time feel.
Prices are so high and half the time my internet does work:( wish there was another company servicing prior lake!! And I love how the company only responds to the positive comments..
Always had great customer service. When you realize how the competition charges you have hidden fees whereas this company is very honest about the up front cost and payments. Living in Savage is a difficult area to find a good service that doesnt charge you for the overwork required. Even though Savage is a suburb cell reception was very low sometimes 1x-3g without the wifi we wouldnt have been able to use even our cell phones. Happy with our service and the local company!
So fed up. My servuce went out for who knows how many hours last night. When i called for help, it was no help whatsoever. This happens each time, until the glitch is over and as a customer im just stuck dealing with it. Nuvera-please work on better customer care and reliable service connection. Thank you!
Best Internet provider in Prior Lake. Rarely any issues (compared to the other company that starts with M). Service is top notch when there is an issue. They have always called back the same day!
Just got a letter saying our TV will be increasing about $3.00 more per month, about $35.00 per year. We called to see if we could negotiate and all the rep said was, we can cancel and renew and save $50.00 but they would charge us installation fee of $60.00 (for equipment thats already installed ). WOW!
I always have low speeds, it takes 3 hours to install 3 GB. Terrible customer service, whenever I call about low internet speeds they don’t do anything about it. I don’t recommend this provider.
Multiple calls and still dealing with not having any service! It is rediculous that so many of us have to just keep dealing with this terrible service because it is our only option! I work from home, am in an online masters program, and my teenage kiddos whole curriculum is embedded in their iPads...yet we are forced to eat up our wireless data using hotspots all while still paying Nuvera. Service has been spotty for about 6 months but never non existant!!! Fix your issues!!!
Since the change from integra happened the service went down internet down most of the time. Many issues with tv serviceCustomer service is 0 stars waiting time up 1 hours then i hanged up)If you leave a message don t be surprised if no one calls you back. Be prepared to hold on the phone for about 40 minutesYou finally set up a repair appointment and they don t show upthe outages are getting more frequent and longer. i will purchase one share and will make my voice heard at the next shareholders meeting.unfortunately a switch is difficult during covid but after that not a minute later
Gave them 1 star because there is no option for 0 starts. Nuvera is the only internet provider that services the area that I just moved to. Nuveras service is awful, internet connection goes down constantly. Nothing like working from home and connection being lost right in the middle of a conference meeting, this has happened several times. Nuveras service is just as expensive as Xfinity which is the internet service provider that I had when I lived in my old town. Services through both companies are expensive, but with Xfinity I NEVER had any service problems, never lost connection. Internet service is not cheap and if I am going to be paying all this money for service I expect to get service.... Boy do I miss my Xfinity!!
I love working with a company that has actual person that picks up! No long hold times, or automated processes that take forever. They are always easy to work with, and priced fairly.
Worst customer service, worst internet, and worst company I have ever had to deal with, would highly recommend anyone else
Cannot reliably connect to the internet, and provide terrible over the phone service, just leaving you on hold for hours until you hang up. The only reason people use Nuvera is its the only company in town
Ever since Nuvera bought Integra, there have been nothing but problems. Multiple internet outages every week. When you call, instead of keeping you on the line and attempting to troubleshoot the problem, they make out a ticket. Its usually several hours before the issue gets resolved. The one exception was when they told me that my internet was down in the middle of the day because they were installing new equipment. Yeah, in the middle of the day, when I needed the internet to conduct business. You need to step it up, Nuvera!
Customer Service and up-time has been outstanding when I have called/used. Outages have happened but they have been communicated respectfully and promptly. The speed varies, but for your average household with tv and internet its pretty good. Id like some more speed offerings, like in the 100mb plus range, but I am assuming they are working on that.I am not fan of paying per tv in the house, its kinda weird. Id think there would be one box into the house and you could branch what ever TVs off of it. Maybe a take away for them to look into.
Ive been an Integra customer for 19 years, including the recent switch to Nuvera. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Yes, the customer service line with Nuvera recently seems to be not available after business hours, but I have never had to call them with any issues. The only times they have come out to my house were proactively to supply new equipment, and increase my speed as I have requested. The customer service has been stellar and prompt. If you want the opposite experience, you are welcome to go with the other local cable internet supplier. I had nothing but problems, and if you want to see bad customer service, they are your company!! If you are not sure who that company is, it starts and ends with an M
The worst Wi-Fi Ive ever had, period. Only 3 Megabytes/ Second download speed, constant outages, all makes for a terrible ISP. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
Hope you dont have any issues or questions after 5 or youre SOL unless youd like to pay through the nose. Slow speeds, high prices, and bad customer service. They hit the trifecta!
One star is too much. I can only assume the people who wrote positive reviews of this Integra/Nuvera arent real and the positive reviews are fake. Ive never had a good experience with any of their support personnel. Their service is spotty and severely over priced and their in house equipment is prone locking up and needing a reset. Im personally going to call Savage City Hall / BBB.
Have had many issues since moving here, but the internet has been good. All of our issues have been with the phone service.
Wonderful Customer Service ! Very informed technicians . Love that its a local company, whom answers the phone within a timely manner . Pricing is comparable to other service providers in the area - without the huge $100+ increase after a year of service.
Staff at the desk is very friendly and helpful.
Always answer the phone when I call for help. Send out some of the most informed and genuine techs in the business. Offer good channels on TV and good solid internet. Nice to have a local telecom that is dedicated to our communication needs.
1 star is even too much, Very unhappy customer. They hide things from their customers when it comes to your bill. No full disclosure upfront. Then when you call to find out why you were billed so much, you hear that everything was explained to you, but what they fail to tell you is that the person you originally spoke to really had no idea as to what they were talking about, so they talked in circles. Cant wait to get out of this contract and move on, will never never use this company again, and will never recommend to anyone. The only thing that really gets me is I have to continue to pay them each month for hidden fees, and being over charged for poor service, because they tell you, they will offer you a lower price for 3 years, but again fail to tell you if you leave before the 3 years is up you have to pay all the discounts you are getting plus to leave. Beware, if they are offering a discount it is probably because they cant keep customers. Would suggest they get someone answering the phone that at the very least knows what they are talking about, and is honest about what the charges are and how it all works. Nothing more frustrating then having a 1 hr conversation with someone to start service and find out later you still dont have the full picture.
Prices are outrageous but our internet and cable service never goes out unlike mediacom here in Elko.
I was on hold for over 10 minutes. When I finally got ahold of them they said they could barely here me. Then when I apparently signed up for a three year contract for a reduced price the first 9 months that if I cancel it would cost me 200 dollars. That wasnt the bad part they said they informed me that if I cancel I would also have to pay them the savings of 45 dollars per month x9 to cancel. THATS 650 DOLLARS TO CANCEL!!! Really! HORRIBLE SERVICE! 2 more years and done with them.
Absolutely no customer service. Terrible internet connections.
As numerous others have stated... inconsistent speeds /service and way overpriced for what you get. 25mb is ridiculously slow for a suburb, add cable and Im at $170/mo. I have been with integra for about 1.5 years and have not seen anything in the way of infrastructure upgrading or moving towards a better solution. Their technical staff tries to run you in circles with issues that they themselves dont even understand. Luckily, working in IT, that doesnt fly with me. Have tested signal at my home, extremely inconsistent due to outdated infrastructure that has been in place for decades. For frustrated customers like myself, continue to call Prior Lake City Hall / BBB and complain about these jokers...They just sit back and collect an exorbitant amount of money for horrible services
Our internet is constantly down. Currently, we have been down for 2 days. We called for service and havent seen anyone. Unacceptable. Dear Comcast, I am begging you, please service this area!
Im hoping I can reach someone that wont give me a canned wordtrack answer to this. Now that Nuvera has bought Integra, why isnt your overpriced service changing? Nuvera offers twice your internet speed for 20% less monthly in every other location. I got a very scripted response to the question when I called, so you knew there would be concerns and chose to ignore them as a company. The script gave some BS response about being part of the Twin Cities market versus rural, EVERY provider in the Cities market provides double the internet speed, more channels, and HD service without having to pay extra, for less money. Weve had good service, but at some point it doesnt make sense to pay a premium for significantly less service than every provider I can find within 50 miles.
This company will not survive with service of the internet speeds and it constantly going down or slowing down along with the rude people i have dealt with there I have cancelled after 4 years of service and went to HughesNet and much happier!!
I have been with Integra for a year now. Great Service! They have answered any of my concerns promptly and professionally. The phone is answered locally! I have TV and internet service. The internet connects at 25 Mbps and the TV signal is always clear and uninterrupted. The DVR/signal box is only 6x 7 and has great capacity and easy playback. The best however is not having to play the annoying price/service games conducted by cable and satellite companys. The services I signed up for are the services I receive and at the price I was quoted. With no $100 increase or reduction in service coming in the future. It is great having a local company providing such great service. Did I mention that they answer their phones here locally!!!
Friendly customer service. Helpful. But, as others have noted, I paid for 30mb per sec internet speeds, but it never gets above 15mb per sec. Promised 30mb then after we signed up, clocked speeds myself, and called to complain, was told we can expect speeds up to 30 mb... Still, service is good and cable/internet is consistent.
Poor WiFi service that is very inconsistent. Not really else much to say, very mediocre provider.
Beware, this company bought Integra and it has been a nightmare!
Ever since this company changed from Integra to Nueva, they totally went downhill. The Tech support is the worst Ive seen from a company.
Very friendly people. Prices for combo packages too high.
Insisted I buy a 30MB internet package to support HD TV. Have never delivered over 12MB to my residence. Techs try to baffle by talking circles around the issue. Value of service for the price is extremely low.
Slow. Lots of random drops.
Terrible service. Slow slow slow. Never works constant excuses with no solution. Everyone in our neighborhood has same issue with no resolve
Great service and support!
If there was a no star option, I’d give that. Terrible customer service, scripted lines. It’s just another corporation looking to make a buck.
I waited FOREVER for an agent for chat. I think I will look for another provider.
Best service in town
Extremely expensive for the speeds and regular outages of TV.
