Was speaking to Sophie (an associate) on the phone regarding a lost package of mine that was last scanned at this Prior Lake UPS location. She was unsure how to help me so she transferred me to the store manager Kevin. He picked up the phone, told me he could not help me as he had a line of people and proceeded to hang up on me. No offer to call me back to assist. I am constantly in this store for various needs. This is probably the second review I’ve ever written on any company. I am extremely disappointed. Don’t give them your business, they clearly don’t value their customers.

The employees were SO rude. I brought in 3 Amazon returns, in between each return she made me move to a lobby table in case anyone else came in She asked me to change the brightness on my phone phone and when I did it wrong she yelled TURN UP THE BRIGHTNESS. It was oddly stressful and should not have been. No hello, no thank you, just awkward. Not going back for anything.

I had a wonderful experience here. I needed help printing and notarizing and the staff was so professional and kind. The notarizer at that store went above and beyond to assist me, even helping with some spelling errors on my document!This UPS is not my closest UPS but I would come back here in a heart beat for how great of an experience I had. Thank you everyone who works at this location! You all deserve raises!

I dont know why yall are mad, they were so nice, even when I didnt know anything and asked stupid questions. Everyone has to keep in mind that theres a higher chance for someone to leave a review of they had a somewhat bad experience. Also, every ups store is rated awfully, so this is the average.

I had read the poor reviews of this location in the past and always had a neutral experience, but I have to say my recent experience with their staff was disappointing. The staff was rude, dismissive and abrasive. The management of this store needs to remind their workers that they are in a customer service position - smiles, greetings, thank you and support should replace scowling and growling at customers. The management at this store should also remember that customers have choices - I will be looking at the alternative locations to mail returns (Kohls, etc.) and will be going to the US Postal Service for my paid package mailing.

I have been to this location many times, hoping that they would improve their service. Unfortunately over the past year they have been consistently poor and I wonder if it is a management issue because the workers consistently are rude, abrasive, and not customer oriented. If you are looking to ship some thing besides an Amazon return that involves more than displaying a QR code, I would highly advised to not use this location and find an alternate method. Very disappointing overall.

This store is a COVID hotbed! The owner of the store doesn’t even wear a mask. He was walking in and out of the store passing customers without a mask on. I asked him to put on his mask and he actually kicked me out of the store and called the police! He is a danger to society and wow, was that unprofessional. Avoid this place like the-literal-plague.

The manager here was so rude I asked him if I could talk to someone else he told me no rude I asked him for the owner number he said no. The tone in his voice tells it all he was vary inconsiderate and had no customer service skills at all. After god mother let them have it the the package was found. Thank god the person received what I sent…………………reading the comments tells it all.

Brought a modem/router in from xfinity to have returned, kid at desk said internet was down, wanted to take down my name/number to call back when internet was back up. Really, so now this service industry store wants us to come back when its convenient for them and when their internet works. I explained that I would leave the modem with them, they could scan it and ship it when the internet comes back on. He said no, we will not take it, come back when the internet comes back on, I stated I dont have time to come back. He yelled theres a UPS store 5 minutes down the road so I grabbed the modem and left. I guess now I will go to the 5 minutes away in Burnsville or Shakopee.I contacted the manager Sophia, shes no better, she never responded to this complaint. So I see where the problem starts...at the top.Go to a different UPS Store if you have to, this location is terrible anyways, not easy to get to. Better yet, sign up for an online shipping service and then you dont have to deal with or waste your time waiting for their internet to come back on. The low review for this store is justified.

I wish so badly I could do zero stars. I have never been treated so poorly by customer service agent in my life. My 2 small children and I went into this store to do an Amazon return- I had never done it this way before, and asked the man behind the counter for assistance, ie. what info he would need from me. He blankly stared at me and didn’t say a word. There was one other person in the store, he very rudely told me to move out of the way so he could help others until I figured out what I was doing. I politely said- “I think I got it here, I’m sorry” he literally picked up my packages, tossed them (semi violently) to the side and said “no ya don’t- next”- my son and daughter looked up at me and grabbed my leg- visibly startled by his behavior. When he was done w/the other customer- he said “looks like you still haven’t figured it out”- I responded by letting him know I was sorry he was having a bad day, but I didn’t deserve this kind of treatment. He let me know his day was fine, but he was having a bad moment being in my presence. I was literally speechless- I looked at his name tag, Kevin S- owner. ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME???? I let Kevin know that his behavior was appalling and considering he was the “owner” it was even more so. He told me to go ahead tell whoever I wanted, he didn’t care, because my business meant nothing to him. Walked away. There is literally no signal in the store, it was ridiculous how long it took to pull up the info I needed. I let the very polite young man that ended up finishing my transaction know, I would pray for him and his patience w/having to deal w/Kevin as a boss. I will NEVER use this UPS store again- this man (I’m struggling calling him that) was so incredibly awful, my 6 year old asked if we should be calling the cops when we walked outside and my 3 year old expressed her sadness that he threw our packages and raised his voice. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

I go here quite a bit to drop off packages & use their notary services. Theyll assist with packaging your items. Nothing is free, however. Very friendly, especially during the pandemic with everyone shipping so many items all hours of the day...

The worst customer service I have ever seen at a UPS location. The manager and employees are always rude and very short with customers. The manager has an attitude and doesnt take feedback well. They dont follow through on packaging shipments to the expectation on what has been actually paid for. Multiple shipments have left their facility and has been damaged in route due to poor performance on packing those shipments with the correct material on the employee level. Continued frustrations with this location...

I went in to return an Amazon package and Im not impressed with this location at all. The only reason I even use this store is because its on my way home. The staff lacks basic customer service skills, the store is dumpy and outdated, and it smelled like someone was smoking the Devils lettuce in the back room. I was in the store for two minutes and my jacket smelled like weed for over an hour after I left.

Went on line to get estimate at this stores website and even overstated the weight. Estimate was $20.87, got to store and they charged $45.05. Asked why so much more guy said I dont know, cause we are a store like a fool I went ahead and shipped it. So it looks to me like the store charges twice UPS cost and more just to handle the box. Got home and checked with post office, same package would have been $15.05. Going to the post office from now on.

Tuesday paid to have package by friday delivered. Package a arrived in 38 miles from destination on thursday. Package still has not arrive.Been told no refunds. Do not recommend service. call to complain.. have been told by store and corporate. nothing can be done is ridiculous. Warning do not do business here

This store is the worst! The employees in here are always extremely rude and argumentative. Do not go to the store! I also think it’s crazy that they charge for UPS Standard shipping envelopes, when you can go to a UPS drop box open up the lid and get the same items for free!

Usually my trips to this store are uneventful but todays stop was different. I had an item to ship, wrapped up and ready with the label in hand, just needed a box, and some packing tape. The clerk measured my item and proceeded to ring me up. The amount that rang up seemed a bit high so I asked how much the box was. He said they offer packaging services, so instead of asking me if I wanted them to package it for me, he assumed and charged me for it. I told him that I was fine packing it up myself. He said that since they offered packing services, I had to take the box and pack it up outside of the store. Huh?? Okay.... I asked for the label back so I could take it and pack it up at home and bring it back tomorrow (he had taken the label and scanned, again assuming I wanted packing services) to which he stated he couldnt give it to me because it was already in the system. So now I had no choice but to put the box together in the back of my car because I wasnt allowed to do so in the store -- I bought the box AND the tape from them!! What??!! I should have been able to box up my item in the store if I purchased the materials from you AND you refuse to give me back my shipping label! Ridiculous! Not good customer service in my opinion. Ill take my packing and shipping needs elsewhere, thanks. Im not paying for packing services that will cost as much as the shipping itself, thanks anyway.

Most of the time when I go in for services the people are friendly. The only reason I am scoring this is 4 is they have one person who clearly treats the customers rudely. I have gotten her several times and it’s clear she hates her job.

If I could rate this location zero stars, I would. Every time I try to use this location there is an issue. Today I tried to send a package using a pre printed label from UPS. It wouldn’t scan and the clerk refused to manually enter the number. The only thing the clerk offered was for me to pay for shipping. Wow! What a great option! So done with this place! I will drive to a farther location from here on out.

Need to get something done in the morning before work? Have an early appointment and want to cross 2 things off your list? You should look elsewhere. Hours says they open at 8am, however, at 8:30am, you can find the doors locked a d looking like a ghost town. Honest question.. Is this place open? Im not convinced. Hopefully management isnt as bad as the help.

Ive been a mail box customer for a couple of years now. Kevin has always been fair and charges a reasonable price for his services. Having my packages delivered to the UPS Store rather than having them stolen from my front door is well worth the cost. If you want to save a few cents, use the government run delivery system and see if your package get delivered on time, or at all.

I dont even know what to say, I had to have something sent officially, was running late due to roads and weather, I called them to let them know I would be there exactly at 359p ( you closed at 4p) got there and they locked the door as I was standing there. I am completely stunned. never ever will I use, or tell anyone to use this facility, I run a small business and I am completely horrified if this is how you treat a customer.

Horrible service. A laptop was shipped to HI on July 24th and returned 8/12/19 due to a label Outdated LiOn caution label and the fact that it was going to HI ground which can only go via Air. These were things the store should have known and now I am getting the runaround on a refund for $66 for a shipment that never happened.

Awful service. We called ahead to ask about printing invitations on card stock. We were told to bring in a USB drive and print on their self service computer. When we arrived, we were told the self service computer did not print on card stock nor at the size we had asked about. The two ladies working there offered excuses and didn’t seem to want to be bothered by us, the only customers in the store. We will not be back.

The last 3 times Ive been in they have been outrageously expensive on all services they offer... always try to upcharge/upsell. Last order: $30.00 for UPS ground, $1.00 for a piece of packing tape, $10.00 for a small box, $7.00 for the service to pack the box.. unreal.. thats like $126.00 / hour for packing... Owner is aways working and very smug. I understand an independent business making a reasonable profit, but not a killing if he wants repeat business.. Make the drive to another store or better yet use Prior Lake PO - all great people and half the cost literally. ..

Terrible experience. Had to contact the BBB to get my money back. Had an international package shipped to Spain only to have it returned and being threatened by UPS to be charged for it to be shipped back. Person at The UPS Store said I shouldve asked the right questions regarding an International Package. If youre a company and you want people to continue to do business with you isnt it smart business to educate your customers? Nonetheless went to the BBB, got my money back and will make sure never to go there again to ship any packages. Gives UPS a real bad name.

Ive dropped off a lot of packages here in the past. Theyre always fairly cold, and not very friendly. They always try to push purchasing stamps, which I assume is their way of up-selling you. I dont blame for this at all--you gotta make money.Last night, I got there after hours to drop off a pre-paid package. It was packaged, paid for, and all ready to be shipped; we were just looking for a drop box or something. It was 7:30 pm. I didnt see a box to drop it off at, but we saw a gentleman inside with the lights on. My wife politely knocked on the door, and asked if she could just drop off the package, and the gentleman looked and shrugged his shoulders. He then proceeded bend down and rummage through a cabinet. I knocked on the door after that and tried to ask again, and he did the same--he shrugged his shoulders. All I was looking for was an explanation. Why couldnt I simply give him the package to send tomorrow? If their systems were down, or was against policy, then I would 100% understand. But he didnt give an explanation. Instead he shrugged his shoulders and ignored us like we were trying to cause trouble or something.I will go out of my way to never give this store my business again, and I hope you do too. I know this is a one-off experience but it has tarnished my view of this store all together.

OVERCHARGE !! OVERCHARGE !! OVERCHARGE !! Do your homework or use another location. This place overcharged me $45. When I called about it, the answer I got was unfortunately, we dont have all the options so even if you ask the question, you dont get an honest or straight answer! Then she said was that an ok answer for you? What a terrible excuse for customer service! Ill never go back to this place again. Sounds like I from other reviews I needed to work with Kevin!

I live 8 minutes away and willbe driving 20 to avoid this penny pinching store. $8 to print a label, $4 to tape a box shut. I was surprised they didn’t charge me forparking.

Horrible. The owner, Kevin, doesnt care about the poor customer service skills of his employees. He is rude. I was trying to avoid a UPS per box charge for business packages delivered to my home by picking them up at his UPS Store location. I explained my situation to two of his female employees, neither one bothered to tell me it was going to cost twice as much to have them delivered to their location versus having them delivered to my home address. Neither one bothered to mention a receiving fee at all. My advice to you is, if you have issues with Kevin and his UPS Store in Prior Lake, take your complaints to the Customer Service department of UPS. Although independently owned, the UPS Store still carries the UPS brand and UPS does care about their brand. Kevin refused to do anything other than offer to ship the 10 boxes back to Washington where I could have them shipped to the Eagan location if I wanted. It took talking to UPS Customer Service 2 times, 2 customer service reps and one supervisor but they are moving my shipment from Kevins Prior Lake UPS store, a mile from my home, to the Eagan hub where I can pick up my shipment tomorrow without any fees. It killed an hour of my afternoon to make that happen.

Had a couple questions about shipping a firearm to me in Colorado, Manager was extremely rude and short. Instead of talking to me he hurried me out the door. Knowing that UPS will send firearm to a licensed dealer here in Colorado, he was absolutely no help and just unprofessional.

Balding old man (manager) obviously had a bad day... was dropping off a prepaid package and guy had a terrible attitude. .. smile baldy, life is too short to treat customers that way...thats why you have a terrible rating on Google.
