I went to VIP in Presque Isle, ME to get 4 tires for my truck and not only were the prices better than everyone else in town, but the customer service was excellent. The man that helped me knew exactly what kind of tires I needed and even gave me recommendations on what kind of tires were best for certain road and weather conditions. VIP has been great. All the guys who work here are awesome, very helpful. It’s a little busy so you might need an appointment but I didn’t have to wait more than a day or two and sometimes they can squeeze you in.

Best place in town! I went to change all tires on my vehicle and vip did a great job in no time. They provide quality work and decent pricing.

When in several weeks ago for a tire rotation thatstation at some point the weights must have fallen off of a couple of tires So I took my truck back in To have the wheels balanced I was originally d $72 for the job But they performed the service free of charge I have been doing business with VIP for years and because of their service irves I will be doing business for many more They are very courteous very fast and very fair

I called ahead of my appointment time, and they were able to take me early. Service was quick and everyone was friendly and helpful. They even ran a free alignment test and gave me a print out of the diagnostics. Prices are comparable and fair. Will definitely be back for my next regular maintenance.

Arrived at location and was quite pleased by cleanliness outside and inside of location. All employees and customers masked up and being safe in distance. Got my truck in quickly and kept me updated through process. Needed a new tire and was walked through possible replacements efficiently. Decent pricing. Quick prompt thorough service. Would definitely recommend if you are unable to schedule with your local dealership or home mechanic.

I needed an oil change and was quoted one price over the phone but when I got there they quoted me another price that was $30.00 higher. They were extremely helpful behind the counter though and I would give them a five star rating, the company itself a 3

Donovan was excellent to work with. Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. While installing 4 new tires, the technicians noted some safety issues that needed to be watched. I left, but was so impressed with their service I came back the next day and had them fix all issues. Again Donovan was great. Service technicians Alan and Scott promptly did the repairs, and explained everything they found and addressed. One of the best auto repair experiences I have ever had.

Awesome staff, gave me the entire run down in detail. The Mechanic Scot was awesome and made the entire experience light hearted and less stressful. They also gave us a great deal for the work they did end up doing. Will be returning for sure.

I have been to VIP here in Presque Isle for tires..oil changes...alignments and other mechanical issues with my vehicle and I have 0 complaints! They keep busy...know how to talk to customers..are great with vehicles and know what they are talking about! I would suggest to anyone this business!

Just left the Presque isle store with a sour taste in my mouth. spent 400 dollars to replace a power steering line. Ive spent 1000s of dollars at this store. Mike the tech did great work as always. Then, I asked about doing my free tire changeover and was turned down by Eric J. the manager on duty today. he said he didnt have time for that ****. maybe Ill just go there for my free changeovers only! Way to go

My car needed nearly $700. of work but they got me back on the road safely for much less which will give me time to save enough money to finish the work. This was all due to a young man named Donovan working with his boss to help me out. I was also pleasantly greeted and dealt with by all of the employees I came in contact with including having an employee open the door for me as I was leaving. I am very grateful for their help in getting my old car back on the road.

Most hard working people Ive seen in a while, they actually enjoy having something to do, give em a ring get some tires or oil or whatever you need! If you go in looking for blinker fluid just stay out...

Went to the presque isle location and while being there an employee was being yelled at by a customer yet the employee did not escalate the situation but instead insisted on varies ways the problem could be solved, very professional in my opinion and V. Where do I begin?None of the employees were wearing masks.None of them seemed to understand the concept of social distancing or the reason for it.Some of them seemed confused about how to use the computer system.It took them 3 1/2 hours to install my snow tires. That is the only thing I needed them to do, and I had even brought the snow tires with me. Id made an appointment, because Id been told having an appointment would cut down on my wait time. I hate to think how long Id have had to wait if I had not had an appointment.There is no way I will ever patronize this establishment again.

They do good work and have always treated me and my family right. My only complaint would be when they get backed up.

Go in for an alignment, an hour and 20 min later he comes out and says “come see this “ ... shows me a broken strut spring, quotes $500+ to change one strut ... also charges me $120 for an alignment that I will need to pay for again after the strut is replaced. YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE SUSPENSION BEFORE YOU DID THE ALIGNMENT

I have always had a great experience when dealing with the Presque Isle VIP. Latest was a transmission service on my car. They got me in on time and finished performing the work in a reasonable time and stayed within the original estimate. They always work with you to get the best price for parts or service and the mechanics take the time to explain the repair. Hats off for a superior job!

I cant say enough good things about VIP Auto. Theyre always incredibly friendly and have worked with me several times when I needed to bring my car in. They have also taken a look at my vehicle several times when I thought there was an issue and have not charged me. Given that my spouse has had to be out of town when these things occurred, it was so reassuring to know I could turn to them for vehicle help. Theyre great people.

I love that you can call and make an appointment for not only tires but for oil change and other needs that need to be done to your vehicle. Also love the fact they provide you with a free alignment test per oil change that is done. Great store, great team!!

Great service. Tires replaced within a day of requesting an appointment. They also price matched. Extra nice touch of putting paper mats in vehicle to keep grease and dirt off the carpeting. Small suggestion: When customer is keeping tires, it would be nice to have the tires in plastic bag wrapping to take them home for storage and keep dirt out of trunk.

The guys over there are wonderful. Not only were they efficient, they explained things thoroughly, and they were full of information. I know when I leave, that the work done to my car was legitimate and reliable. Overall, Ive never had a bad experience at the Presque Isle location.

This is the only place in town I take my vehicles. The convenience alone makes it entirely worth every penny. I usually drop my vehicle off with little to no notice for sometimes major repairs. How many places in town can you drop a truck off with no notice for a transmission replacement and have it back the next day? I always request Mike to be my technician and he is the absolute best. I can’t say enough good things.

We had been getting prices for replacing tires on our vehicles. A flat tire sped up the replacement timing. A call in the morning to VIP in Presque Isle resulted in an appointment in the afternoon for a new set of tires. Great price, fast service, and friendly staff.

Kenny W. on BirdEye★★★★★★★★★★14 hours agoJust wanted to write this review,seeing as there is no link or number for there customer support in auburn.Went there in November and spent 1,000 dollars on tires they charged me 15.00 for tire recycling,but i took the tires with me as i was going to put them back on in the spring.Then an oil change$70.00 they told me they put high mileage oil in my truck has less than 40,000 miles.Then the best one after they handed my keys back the kid that changed the oil said he needed my keys back,Why there was a big puddle of oil on the floor were my truck was serviced.Makes me wonder forgot to put the oil plug back in and my truck was driven out with no oil in the engine!! I will never go back there ever again Ford dealership charges 52.00 total and rotate the tires and top off all the fluids.

When I called to get a price quote, the very nice guy said that they match prices--and when I called back later with a competitors cost, they did in fact beat the other price. The service was fast and friendly, and they worked hard to save me money and make sure I understood the work. Will definitely be back.

I went into VIP not knowing exactly what was wrong with my car. The team here at Presque Isle VIP was great and helped me out. I told them what happened with my car and they figured out what was wrong.

I had a 10 am appt for an oil change. It’s been 3 hours and I’m still here. Then they lost my keys!!!!

Ive been a VIP customer For better then 10yrs. had an 8am appointment, they took me in within 10 minutes of my appointment time. Had a state inspection done the service tec spoted a problem with my brakes would have pasted state inspection but, I would of run into problems not to for in the future. They took care of the problem at a fair prices and was out with in 1hr. I can always depend on there repair work never had a problem with work that they have done. Also always pleasant customer service . Thank you P.I. VIP crew.

Great service very happy

I packed my vehicle headed out of town for a new job in the south that I was starting Monday. My car stalled and shut down, so we had it towed to VIP for service. This was Thursday, it is now Saturday and they have failed to even look at it despite multiple phone calls about the urgency and importance of packing up a car with all you’ve got and leaving friends and family for a new job opportunity. They wouldn’t even assess the vehicle so that we could make other arrangements to deal with this situation. One employee was rude and just matter of fact that they were too busy to look at it, but did not offer suggestions on should we carry the vehicle elsewhere to get it checked or wait to have it serviced. This has been a very troubling experience for us. We had always had courteous and professional service in the past. It’s why in this emergency situation we called VIP in the first place. I cannot express enough disappoint in this team at this time. I realize people need their winter tires and oil changes, but our circumstances were rare and should have been handled with more care.

I love this store. The people who work here are so very helpful. I can call with any questions and they help with instant answers. I do lots of traveling and my car needs lots of TLC. A few days ago I had to bring my van in to get a flat tire repaired. Upon entering I was greeted with a hearty hello and was promptly helped. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and they fixed my tire with no problems. The service was excellent. Will be going there again for sure!
