If you have Geico/Travelers insurance, my sincere advice is to stay as far away as possible from West Coast Restoration and Nathan Raymond. He will not keep his words and ditch you right when he gets his money.I called Nathan for estimate when I had a leak at my condo and wanted to not involve insurance. He gave me a verbal quote of around $1500 for restoration which made me go the route of filing insurance claim which has $1000 deductible. Nathan pitched me that 80% of his job is to fight for his clients with the insurance adjuster and that he will sort out all insurance dealings for me. I had paid him a check for $150 for the first visit which he said he will apply towards the restoration if I employ his services. The day restoration had to start, he made me sign a document that I am personally responsible for paying to him and the dealing between the insurance and me are my problems. He sweet talked me that these are industry norms for paperwork and that he will personally help me. The restoration estimate in this contract jumped from $1500 to $4000 but I didn’t hesitate as now insurance was involved and I assumed there will be price adjustments. When the work was done, the final bill came out for $6351 (more than 4x the initial estimate). You can imagine what kind of ethics he has when the final invoice was 400% of the estimate. His crew did a clean job of restoration though.From here onward, everything went south. He demanded that I pay him the full amount within 14 days of the completion date and he did not even want to speak to the adjuster. He gave me a harsh rude letter that I should sent to the adjuster trying to convince me that Travelers is a horrible company to engage with and that this is the only way to go forward. Since I had signed a contract to pay him, I did pay him out of my pocket (minus $150 that I had already made out a check to him). His assistant chased me for the $150 and tried to convince me that Nathan tore that check. Based on my recent experience, I had little belief in him in any matters where money was involved but I finally gave in and sent him another check for $150. He was not to be seen or heard after that and I had to work with my insurance on my own completely.In the end the insurance adjuster and Travelers turn out to be top notch people to work with and they covered me as much as they could. The only bad taste I was left in this whole episode was the sweet talking Nathan who only wanted my business and charged 400% of the estimate, did not even talk to insurance once (which he had promised) and left me having to figure out the insurance process which is the only reason I had hired his services for.Your mileage might vary but this was not at all a positive experience for me

Nathan and his team were extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and caring when a pipe broke behind our kitchen wall. Nathan arrived within hours of my calling him after the burst pipe happened. He set up the remediation equipment and had his team come to our home daily to take humidity readings, check the equipment, etc. When it came time for the damaged drywall, cabinets and countertops to be removed, the West Coast team took meticulous care to install a zippered floor-to-ceiling plastic enclosure to help prevent demolition dust from ending up all over our belongings; they also put down a heavy duty runner from the kitchen to our front door (to prevent damage to our floors from carting out all the cabinets, drywall, etc.). I have had nothing but prompt returned calls from Nathan, the team and Natasha (the office manager: she is an incredibly kind, warm person who deserves an extra shout-out for diligently working from home as well as juggling homeschooling all her kiddos during the Covid-19 pandemic!).In short, if youre looking for a get-it-done-the-right-way water response/restoration team, then West Coast Restoration & Cleaning is THE company to hire.

I have owned homes and had all kinds of work done on them for 20 years. West Coast Restoration was by far the most courteous and professional business I have ever dealt with. They arrived on time, cleaned my upholstery right then and took my rugs for cleaning. I had just had a minor disaster at the house and the rugs ended up so filthy I was sure I would need to throw them out. But when they brought them back the following week they looked amazing. Just like I had bought new rugs. They also made an exception to their hours of service just to deliver my rugs at a time that worked for me. And finally, the price for all this work was very reasonable.I highly recommend them to everyone needing services from upholstery and rug cleaning through entire restoration after a disaster such as a fire or flood. They also clean the things we tend to forget such as air conditioning and clothes dryer ducts. I will be having them come once a year for a thorough cleaning of everything so I can rest assured that the whole house is as clean and well maintained as possible.If it was possible I would give them a rating higher than 5.

I have been dealing with West Coast Steam Clean since their inception, and I have never been disappointed with their service - and most of all, the exceptionally respectful and attentive customer service. I came home from a night out with some friends. And there was water coming out of my front door. I immediately panicked. Apparently a water line had burst and was leaking water all over my house. After shutting off my water, I looked on Yelp and found West Coast Restoration & Cleaning came highly reviewed and called them.Even though it was after hours, Ray and his team were at my house quickly and immediately got to work. They were able to help clean and repair the water damage quickly so that wouldnt have a mold problem. Once they finished, it looked like new with very minimal long term damage (we had to replace one floor).I highly recommend them if you have a water, fire or mold issue. Or just need some general deep cleaning to impress the in-laws.

Im a self-proclaimed DYI girl but lets face it, the rental dirt devil carpet cleaners, bissell, oreck etc can only do so much. and yes, i have done all three on my house. and yes my carpet looked so much better!!! ... for a max of two days. 30 year old carpet thats the lightest creme color seemed absolutely hopeless.Enter Gary with West Coast professional Carpet Cleaning. He was referred to me by another local business who was booked up for several weeks -- I was on a time crunch to get my house clean and amazing. We spoke for a while about my needs and his carpet knowledge and he gave me a very spot on quote. To take his service further, he agreed to come over prior to our scheduled cleaning for an accurate quote and so I could meet him (i wasnt comfortable having someone I had never met entering my house on his alone while at work). Due to delay in finishing his last job and suffering through traffic, he came over around 7:30pm. I was so appreciative!He was very honest about what my expectations should be based on its age and condition, and explained how he uses a very thorough process to lift out the deep-down-in-there dirt within the carpet mat -- this is an important step to get your carpet cleaning to LAST, and not all companies do this. you get what you pay for, after all. He went on to explain it more scientifically with pH etc(science is a bit over my head but i appreciated it!), stating he starts with a 9 and then does a second time with a 5 (i think). he also went room to room with me telling me things to remove from the floor prior to his work.the outcome? whatever he does, he does it REALLY WELL. As requested, he texted me when he had finished the job. I couldnt believe it when I came home; my carpet looked BRAND NEW. no joke, it was even coloring throughout the space, including the high traffic areas. he left me two sets on booties so I could wear in the house and keep it awesome. i was also really impressed with how dry it was after only a few hours -- meaning he extracts moisture really well. on a cool and overcast winter day, that was really appreciated.super fair price for a large 3 bedroom, two story house with a staircase. and such an honest and personable 1-man-show. i love to support local businesses who take pride in there work...so when you need your carpet cleaned and your mind defaults to those large chain companies - consider this instead. cant speak highly enough about the experience.for the first time in nearly 5 years i walked into my house and SMILED instead of stared embarrassingly at all the stains that come with being a cat owner. that reaction and pride I now have is pretty much priceless.thanks again Gary.
