When it seemed like the larger corporate clients started to take priority over smaller clients who had been with CarolAnne for a long time I knew it was time to find another tax prepaper and did. Plus the big guy (husband?) made me feel uncomfortable. In fairness, until then she did a decent job on my taxes.
Walking into Champion accounting, I felt like I was on an episode of the show Hoarders. I was anxious and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Carol is knowledgeable and patient but her husband however is an obese, rude nasty man. My husband and I are newly married so was our first year filing jointly. We were very naive to the process and had many questions in regard to our documentation that needed explaining. When I called to clarify and ask for a breakdown to better comprehend our return, I was horrified at the response I received. I politely asked my questions referencing the chart provided about the formula for one of the calculation. His tone immediately changed as if I were questioning his intelligence when really I just needed him to aid in my understanding of this complicated process. His nasty comments turned to insults when he question how I still could not understand even with my “college education”. I practice kindness always and am hopeful that he was just having a bad day and that he doesn’t normally treat his customers in such a manner. Long story short, we will not be going back.
Champion accounting always working hard to prepare taxes. Always doing her best to keep up with the latest tax updates and keeps customers informed.
