Great place for all sewing needs. The people their are very knowledgeable and friendly. They treat you like a good friend always takes time to help, my wife loves this place and they do great work and back all their guarantees.
Love the store and was very helpfully! Bought a live lock jazz II AND I LOVE IT. just want to thank the employees for all there help.
What a pleasure it was to shop for a new vacuum at Sew And Vac, Inc. Kevin Frisenda was incredibly knowledgeable, extremely helpful and very friendly. He listed to our needs, gave us detailed information as well as hands on demonstrations of our options with a completely pressure free approach. Undaunted by the fact that we werent there to make a purchase, he took all the time we needed to feel comfortable with the products he was offering. We were so impressed with Airbelt K3 vacuum, we returned shortly afterwards and purchased it.
I have purchased several sewing machines including a vacuum from Kevin. He is always pleasant and explains the machines. Fixes or tunes them as needed and perfectly. He has even repaired a sewing machine not purchased from Sew n Vac and did an excellent job. If you purchase one there you get complimentary lessons for a year. Well used. I have taken sewing lessons from Debbie also and she is patient and very helpful . In addition, fun to engage with. Love this store! You will too!!!
Did a fantastic job fixing my wifes 60 year old sewing machine. Did the work faster than promised, tested it and worked on in a bit more to a very successful conclusion. This is an expert sewing machine repair and supply company with terrific employees, too.
I have had excellent service at this store. The owners are honest, and the service is very polite and professional. You never feel youre being taken for a ride.
I really enjoy coming here and taking classes! Debbie is by far one of my favorite sewing instructors. For years I have been taking lessons with her and I wouldnt be more experienced without her. Definitely the best place to go!
Very nice and professional people.
I bought a $900 vacuum here. So this means they maintain the vacuum and I buy my $60 filters and bags for the machine here as well. Once you buy the item say good bye to customer service! I was given the wrong bags and filters So I had to pay another toll and go back to change it while I was there I put in a order for a warranty replacement door on 6/29 and was told I did not need to leave my equipment since we figured out the problem and it would be in in one to two weeks. I gave them ample time before I called back and when I did the men were rude and had no idea what I was talking about. It then took them about another week to call me back with a resolution. When the lady called back she also had no idea about my original visit. Then calls be back and begins to tell me to bring my vacuum in again. Bc they could not put an order in with out seeing my vacuum 😩. This is absolutely ludicrous people it is now the third week of July! I’ve been courteous and patient they act as if my time is not valuable nor the money I spent there. My vacuum is a great vacuum it’s the people who I bought it from who really don’t care. Meanwhile you walk in the store it’s a ghost town each time and they act like they are super busy! Yea ok! I’ll order my own door and thanks for nothing.
Polite, and knowledgeable about their products. They have a new storefront in Wappingers right next to Toys R Us. The store is updated and brand new. Roomy with a lot of options as for Sewing machines and sewing machine parts. They also have vacuums but I do not shop there for that reason. They offer sewing and quilting classes for all different ages. Call and get on their email list for future classes ect.
Very helpful, quick service. Much appreciated!
Rude, the older man. Very snippy and rude. Off putting. I now peak in and see if he is there, if he is... I go on to Joanne fabric and call it a day. Life is to short to deal with nasty!!
If I could give it no stars I would, from being rude on the phone to overcharging me for the simplest of repairs, the level of dishonesty from this guy is as high as his prices. If he had just been honest and told me to replace the filters in my vacuum I would have bought them from him but instead he opted to change a belt that I dont think needed to be replaced so he could justify a $90 bill on a $110 vacuum. When I picked up the old belt that didnt look damaged at all he told me it was stretched out and the vacuum wouldnt pick up dirt, I said that was never the problem the complaint was noise and dust coming from the vacuum. I guess this didnt sit well with him because he tossed the old filters on the counter and walked into his backroom/workshop without saying a word. Well this review is what I get for spending $90 to repair a $110 dollar vacuum, I hope it was worth it.
I have been going here for years, always recommend them. For both sewing machine repair and vacuum. Could have gotten my vacuum a little cheaper on line but wanted to buy local from the person that would be servicing it.
Pleasure to visit. Very knowledgeable. An easy shopping and purchase experience.
I can always get great instruction on a new item I purchase, or help with something that I already own. Both Kevin and Debbie provide expert customer support.
Friendly, professional, they are helping to keep our Electrolux that we purchased in 1983 continue to have a very strong suction.
Love this store for all my vacuum parts. Great knowledgeable staff!
Very helpful in choosing best vacuum for me.
Very informing and pleasant and service is great
Rude attitude sarcastic remarks.
