After an almost year-long gap in my resume from the pandemic, Jenna managed to set me up on interviews within the week of me sending her my application. I got offered a temp position an hour after my 2nd round of interviews and started working the next day. Fast forward 4 weeks later, and I have been offered a permanent position with my company. EVERYTIME, i talk to these people they cut me off mid sentence. They are always in a rush and downright rude. They lack understanding and social skills. I think working with a sense of urgency is important but I also believe in maintaining that professional BALANCE! I shared that I was in the middle of moving and was told that since I did not fill out my paperwork I could not be held on to much longer. The truth is, I did not have a good experience with them years ago and nothing has changed. If anything they are worse. Maybe it is the neighborhood they are in. This company has to be the biggest joke on the planet. Interviewed with them online during July and let them know what my hours and flexibility were and what I was looking for in a job. After months of receiving messages to call back for various temporary positions I would receive a response saying that spot has been filled. Received terrible customer service from Kathryn. I have never been yelled at by a customer service representative for not being able to answer a phone call.REPLY TO OWNER: I highly doubt you are the owner. If you were a real owner or supervisor, you would have tried to gather more information before taking an employee’s hearsay and then unprofessionally replying to a negative review. In case this is not Katherine, did she also mention her obnoxious tone or the fact that she was not borderline yelling but actually raising her voice very aggressively before any profanity on my part was used? Furthermore, you did not counter any point that made in regard to what my availability was. I told you guys what my availability was months before and even updated it once. If I could give lower stars, I would. Ive heard mixed things about Ethan Allen. I figured I would experience it for myself.I was asked to come in and I was there for a few hours. Yes they did ask me to come in a little early for forms and paper work, but what they didnt specify that you will be there a good 3 1/2 hours watching videos about harassment and workplace safety, and taking quizzes. The woman, I think her name was Jenna, wasnt very helpful either.... I recommend taking business to other staffing agencies.

Jenna Kelly is a gem. I signed up on a Friday, and by Tuesday I was working in a temp job that changed my life for the better. I am able to transition to other areas in my field through Ethan Allen: I owe them so much for giving me the opportunity.Their electronic time system is easy to use, and they prod supervisors who may not have had a chance to approve time cards so Im always paid weekly.This temp agency is far different than temp agencies I dealt with 20 years ago where they gave you a typing test and then absolutely nothing happened. A lengthy skills assessment is given, yes, but Jenna actually listened to what I hoped for in a career shift and provided a job that I loved.One cannot depend solely on a temp agency for work, because they are limited just as the job seeker is by the fact they can only assign jobs if there are jobs to be assigned. But Ethan Allen gave me (and another co-worker) a great experience.

I have no clue how this place is even still in business. The staff is extremely rude and they do not care about their clients. If I could give no star in oder to post this I would but google makes you in order to post.

Ethan Allen served its purpose for my needs. I needed temporary work to hold me over until I found a full-time job elsewhere. My only suggestion for improvement is that they work on having better lines of communication with their employees like making sure to let them know when their placement will be extended and things like that.

I moved to Poughkeepsie after the birth of my first grandchild. I went to Ethan Allen and they called me for a “last minute” assignment. Fifteen years later I retired from my “last minute “ assignment. Thank you Ethan Allen.

I went to Ethan Allen workforce solutions with my resume with 8 years of lead and/or management experience. I spoke to them to help me find a full time position as I am working 2 part time positions currently. Over the course of them working to find something for me, all I ever received from them was phone calls with one day 2 or 3 hour assignments. They never found me a full time job placement in my field and when I asked about the search I got the run around or nothing available. When I looked on indeed where ethan Allen posts jobs they had job after job after job full time posted in my field. I do not recommend going to them. Ill go elsewhere and most likely get better help.

I was hired a month ago and I was so excited to get back into the working field. However, I interviewed with Jenna and she was so rude it was unbelievable. I got placed, and was let go from my contract assignment with my stuff still in my assignments office, thousands of dollars of my belongings. Jenna called and told me I’m not allowed to retrieve my personal belongings because it’s against her policy. She then proceeded to call me a liar saying that I didn’t have any personal possessions worth that much etc and that I need to stop lying. I am beyond disappointed with my experience here.

I was HIRED through Ethan Allen, filled out all my forms and paperwork and then just didnt get a call back. I called them 3x and left voicemails. I emailed twice before hearing back. I was told there was no positions open.. Funny, my friend walked in yesterday and was hired ON THE SPOT. Next they said I was qualified. I said i have almost 9 years experience WITH written recommendations of my work ethic. FINALLY they said i was not professional looking enough.. I have tattoos and purple hair.. You seriously are going to try to lie to me about why you wont let me work here? I am so offended by this entire company. Unless your cookie cutter perfect with a perfect face and utmost appearance dont even bother here. They lost out on a hard-working passionate CNA. Your loss, not mine .

If you are a CNA don’t let them send you to the pines or the grands because neither of those place will pay you on time. I been waiting a whole month for my check. I been tossed around from different people just to find out when and where is my check. Till this day I don’t have my check making it 5 weeks. Ethan&Allen don’t have your back when it comes to certain company’s don’t be fooled.

When I came Dutchess County in 2001, this was the first place I went o to seek for employment in July. Within the same month I was already working. Ethan Allen Staffing one of the best Staffing agencies in the Hudson Valley.

After registering with EA was placed in temp assignment within days, which led to full-time permanent employment with great company...Thanks to all!

They cant help you if youre not able to provide any references.

Their website is a joke and they never contact you. The Hudson Valley is in trouble with companies like Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions that have a stranglehold on the market.
