I had the misfortune of being involved in a small car accident that caused some pretty big damage to my brand new car. Needless to say, that accident was the last thing I needed, BUT I immediately began googling auto body shops near me and Vince’s popped up so I read some reviews that were all stating the same thing: that the employees are professional and talented. I called them thinking that I was going to just have to leave a message as it was around 6pm, but they answered my call and assisted me in getting my car towed to their shop. They stayed late into the evening to wait for me to arrive and both explained and showed me the damage to my car. I felt that I could trust their judgement immediately and left my car with them to begin their work. I picked up my vehicle this evening and let me tell you, my car is 110% better. I’m so thankful for their help and kindness. In particular, Ricky was thorough and patient with me while I was trying to understand the damages. I highly recommend!

My Jeep Trailhawk was horribly victimized where the perpetrator keyed the front fender, the hood, etc., to the metal - as well as nicking a portion of the plastic trim around the wheels. They also inflicted numerous scratch marks on the front driver’s side window. I was concerned that the damage was so extensive, that my once well-maintained vehicle would never again look the same. Well what a very pleasant surprise I received when I picked it up as my Jeep looks better than new! Vinces Body Works did an amazing job and I am beyond grateful to them. Let me also add that they are all gracious and very nice individuals as well as quintessential professionals. Not only did my vehicle appear to be in brand new factory condition on the outside, but they also took the time to clean it an make it look new on the inside. I had an excellent experience with Vince’s Auto Body Works! The minute I pulled into the parking lot the owner immediately came out whom was very friendly and professional and told me he’d make my car look brand new like it did before. I was freaking out and very upset because my vehicle was parked and I came out the next morning to extensive damage to my car and the person fleeing the scene. I was not left a note or anything. I was concerned my insurance premium would go up but he assured me it wouldn’t because it was a no fault accident. I put my trust in him and decided to go through my insurance because he was right, it was a no fault accident. Why should I have to pay cash out of my pocket to fix something someone else did that I didn’t do? Vince’s Auto Body Shop took care of everything for me. They spoke with my insurance company for me and gave them the details as to what had happened to where I barely had to speak with them regarding the situation that had occurred. I had rental car coverage which I was able to obtain within 30 minutes which made the process much easier so I was able to get to and from work.Once my car was completed (which was completed two days in advance than the expected due date), I could not be more impressed with the work that was done. They not only fixed my car, but they made it look newer than when I originally brought it in. The whole experience was such a smooth transition from dropping my car off to getting my rental car. I HIGHLY recommended Vince’s Auto. He truly cares about his customers and will work with you with whatever you need. I will be referring EVERYONE I know that friends, family, strangers, etc. to Vince’s. They handled communications with my insurance company, car rental company and gave me a full estimate listing each part that would be replaced. Everything was repaired before estimated time given very efficient . They were very professional and friendly. RICK The owner was more than willing to answer the questions and concerns I had about my car after the repairs. Soon as I pulled up to the shop the owner was outside and immediately took care of me. After viewing my car damages from my accident, he gave me an affordable price and took care of my car from there. Receiving my car it looked brand new, even had the inside of my car cleaned spotless. After having a very bad experience with kids throwing concrete at my new car while i was driving with my daughter and destroying my sunroof, I called Ricky and without any hesitation he picked up my car and his office staff worked with my insurance company which gave them plenty of push back until they paid. The job turned out beautiful especially that my car was only three weeks old. I cant thank Ricky and his staff enough for making such a bad situation a pleasant experience. I go to Vinces Auto Body. I walked in to get my tires checked on, I ask for the girl at the desk and they said she was let go. I was told they have new management. Due to police presence, I was told to step out in a rudely fashion. The owner was like, for 60 bucks we can check on the tires. It turns out that it only needed air once I took it to Bolts Mechanics.. for a second opinion. In short, I was able to save myself 60 bucks..

I like his shop but I paid 250$ to tow my car to my house and the tow driver put couldnt wait 5 min until hooked my car in the middle of the driveway and told me that the car can drive but the wheels didnt move and it made a line on my driveway and messed up my grass

Very happy with the job that Joe and the crew did for me at Vinces. The deep scratch has been completely covered and youd never know that damage had occurred.I ended up getting five quotes before deciding which shop to use, since Poughkeepsie has several within a few miles. Vinces was fair on price (body work is expensive in general, but by fair I mean competitive in the area). What convinced me to use this shop was Joes expertise, as he explained about the type of paint they use - and the fact that he offered to patch a small hole in my vinyl bed cover free of charge.Great work, quick turnaround - highly recommended.

I just got my car back from Vinces Auto Body shop on smith st in Poughkeepsie. I couldnt be more happier with the work they did. They even cleaned the inside of my car. It was filthy to. Haha. I have to admit. But the car looks great and I would definitely reccomended them. I wish I used them a year ago when my car was damaged inside a valet parking garage. I did get a quote through Vinces, but I thought it was to cheap of an estimate and I ended up using someone else. The other guy charged double. So let that sink in.

I have had Vinces shop work on my WRX twice now. The work is always above any other shop i have seen, and the people are helpful and very nice. If you need body work done I highly recommend Vinces.

Vinces Auto Body Works is absolutely top rate, the best experience Ive ever had with auto body repair! Viewed from the outside you may think they would not be up to date, not true. They use water based auto paint, just like the factories used when the car was originally painted, no pollutants going up the stack (I was told they only use 5% of their EPA allotment of stack emissions which they have to pay for). The change over to water based paints was a large capital investment. They are fully computerized with all the major insurance carriers, mine was USAA. They filled out all the forms on the first visit.However, all that is secondary to outstanding customer service and the final repair job. They keep in contact with you via texting on the progress of the repair. In my case both my wife and I came down with a wicked stomach virus putting us in bed when we were due to pick up the car. Vinces volunteered to bring the car to the house which we were unable to leave, now thats customer service.Best of all, the car was repair flawlessly, you cannot see any indication at all of a repair. The repaired area looks as good as new, I cant ask for anything better than that!

When my husband and I got into an accident, Gina and Joe at Vinces auto body completely put our minds to rest. It was a no-fault accident so all the phone calls and follow-up we had to do was a major headache, but they made our lives so much easier by keeping meticulous records and keeping us apprised of the work they were doing via email every single day. To say they were friendly would be an understatement, because they truly went above and beyond. There had been furniture in the back of our car at the time of the accident, and Joe took time out of his day (after 5pm) to take the furniture to our house in his personal pickup. Outstanding secretary (cant remember her name), Joe is very personable, friendly, honest, and loves telling stories about his cars (which I utterly enjoy!), and Ron is just as personable, just quieter lol... Both represent their business with pride and confidence in the beautiful work they do. Ive now recently come back with yet another car after an accident, bc idk if I can trust anyone else! Estimates are fully explained and you receive a detailed work order. Joe will listen to your concerns, consider different options that might be more affordable, and will adjust the work order accordingly. You drop off the car at the appointed time, and the work isnt this long, drawn-out process. You pick up your car as beautiful as can be, paint that matches quite well, that doesnt bubble, and, in most cases, the work is guaranteed (Ive had him do things that he didnt agree with completely that he couldnt guarantee, understandably). Thats really all I, or anyone else, can ask for in a repair shop - being able to control the costs and yet receive a repair that is beautifully, and proudly, done.
