I wish I could give 10 starts, Ultimate Tire did a great job with reasonable Price I have my rare Axle/beam broken I went to like 5 AUTO Mechanic few was like nope this is heavy damage I cant and others was over Pricing Thank God I was able to spot Nick the manager of the shop Check everything and order the part and fix same day Which really amaze me, I thought needed a new car but Ultimate Tire team SAVE ME! will recommend and will definitely come back Again

I made three trips to the shop, I came on a Saturday because I had an issue but they closed at 12:00 and Mike was willing to stay late to fix my car concerning my safety, they were unable to get the parts for Saturday but he did fix it a little bit to make sure I was safe to get home. They were ordering the parts for Monday but I did not want to wait around for a call and then have to leave work so I said that I would be there first thing Tuesday morning when they opened expecting it to be a 3-hour job, 45 minutes later Nick handed me my keys and said I was all set, I was very pleased. But to make for an honest review there was an issue with the repair and they also notice something else when they did the initial repair but I could not get fixed at the time. I came back on Wednesday morning and they fixed the issue right away and then solve the other issue, complementary ., This is a difference between doing business with a small independent guy and doing business with Firestone or Mavis to make up for the mistake.. this is the difference in dealing with a small independent guy rather than a big box shop like Mavis or Firestone or Goodyear. I heard him interacting with other regular customers and I can tell you I was treated like I had been a customer for 10 years and it was only my first time there..

Refreshing to find an honest and fair priced mechanic. I was traveling and my car broke down on the highway the tow truck recommended this place. I was literally stranded. The mechanic immediately diagnosed my car ordered the part and got me back on the road a few hours later. The customer waiting area was comfortable with a TV. his price was extremely fair. If I lived locally to this repair shop I would always go there and give them all of my car repair work.

The only reason Im giving a 3 and not lower is because the price was good, and the mechanic did a good job. But whoever was behind the counter was condescending and rude. So for that reason alone I wont be going there again.

Great place we had a problem with our tire and we needed a special bolt for my moms car when we spoke to nick Johnson the owner he said all we needed to do was replace one of the bolts and he explained everything with honesty and integrity and after all that he didnt even charge us and his sons are wonderful young men if your ever in pakipsee NY look them up they are a honored group of people

If you post a negative review you just dont get it. If you actually want your car issues dealt with quickly, honestly and without being over charged you have found your place. Nick is old school. Hes been taking care of my family for over 20 years. He can be gruff. He swears a lot. But thats his style. Its part of the personality of this place. He keeps you on your toes and he doesnt have time for peoples bullshit. In the end, you get what you came for- a good job at a great price. And the owner is a great guy when you get to know him. He actually cares about your vehicle as opposed to other shops that just pretend to care.

I had been taking my girlfriends and my car to Nick for years and he always did good work and was usually polite (although not always) Then one winter we bought a nice new set of snow tires for my girlfriends Rav4 and I asked Nick to just have his guys throw the all seasonals in the spacious trunk because we dont really use the space that much. Fast forward 3 months and I needed to get into the trunk and I come find out that his guys had forced the door closed on the tires hard enough that it broke the latch mechanism. I was upset but not that upset because the guys obviously didnt do it intentionally and I figured Nick would be cool like he always had been, accept some culpability, and we could work something out. Instead he got angry at me for even suggesting that his guys would do that. He said sometimes things just break. Seems to me a strange coincidence that the one time the trunk breaks in 5 years is the one time it was forced closed onto 4 enormous tires...you form your own opinion from this story. It was 500 dollars worth of damage. He has since lost thousands of dollars of my business and will continue to for a long time. Get it together Nick.

Ive been buying tires from Nick for the last 5+ years, on my 2nd set from Ultimate Tire for both of our cars. I used to buy at BJs and Sams, but no more. Nick and his crew are knowledgeable and will always give me honest service and a good deal. He wont try to sell me something that I dont need, but will do if I ask. I read some negative reviews here, yeah, Nick is a little rough around the edges, but he has NEVER been dis-respectful or rude to me or other customers that I have seen while I was there. THEY WILL DO GREAT BY YOU.I come from a working class family and have driven lower end cars my whole driving life. I started taking my 2000 VW Passat wagon to them a few years ago. First for new tires, which Nick the owner showed me about 4 different levels of tires I could opt for. He called the lowest end ones black circles with holes in em, but said he was more than happy to put those on if Id like. He didnt try to upsell me anything. He showed me what the options were and gave me all the info he could to help me make my own informed decision. I chose the next level up of tires and they were very affordable to me, someone who makes very little money. i asked him if they did other work on cars and he said they did pretty much everything.Over the years I have taken this car in for various issues. Everything from replacing a section of the exhaust to mysterious check engine problems. Every single time, Nick was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. Im also used to be being talked down to at garages, because Im a slender young guy with music gear always in my car. No one there ever made me feel stupid or uncomfortable. Theyve all been straight up and just helpful.Nick and his people understand that working with a customer in need to help them find the most affordable option that will get them the strongest results is much more valuable than trying to make the quickest, biggest buck. Nick actually wants to help people.
