Weve used Bills to service our HVAC system for many years. Recently decided to install a new a/c (16 years old) and furnace (28 years old), and Bills offered the best estimate. The installers were prompt and professional and got the work done quickly. A week later I had a concern about the furnace and Jacob came out right away and double checked everything very thoroughly. Ive never had a single problem with Bills, quite the opposite! Great local company

Bills heating crew were fantastic to work with and communication was on point. They explained what to expect physically, outlined the quote, very polite, professional, and respectful of my work space as I was working from home during the installation activities. They left the areas spotless and explained what to do should issues arise.Im very happy with our new high efficiency systems!

Responding to Bills response:Bills installed a different water heater without notice than what was quoted and purchased. They have not provided documentation or warranty information re this different water heater, nor have provided a receipt for payment. In addition, their installation of (new) furnace gas piping to the outside meter actually skewed the meter out of position. The technician from the gas company thankfully corrected Bills work, installing their own corrected piping from the house to the meter to properly square the meter before gas could was turned on. Bills technicians had advised that their gas installation passed all required inspections, however that turns out not to be the case, and further inspection is required. Well see how that goes. I would encourage buyers to look to other heating and cooling companies rather than using Bills.Update to Bills response: thats a lot of words for a defense. You neglected to mention in your response that I asked, several times through different lines, to speak to a manager to try to discuss these issues, and was assured someone would reach out, but that still didnt/hasnt happened. Its absurd to think that a vendor wouldnt notify a customer in advance that they changed from a quoted product-- let alone to try to defend that practice. And most vendors do provide a receipt for payment received, without any drama or requiring phone calls.

My husband and I would like to tell you what a WONDERFUL job Trevor did for us with our new gas water tank. He came out one day and the next day he was already back to remove our old one (which I’m still wondering how he pulled that off in the small space) and install our new one. He answered all of our questions and concerns, was extremely knowledgeable and his work was flawless. And being very personable on top of it!! What a great employee you have! I can not say I am impressed with the installation of my AC unit. the AC unit works perfectly however installation left my house a mess...I was reccomend Bills heating since the furnace I had was from them. and it was professionally done it was flush with the wall etc before the AC installation. somehow the AC installation from them was a mistake they cut 2 off one side of my wall.. and its not even straight.. you can see how jagged they left it...they also left a gash on my new laminate flooring that I recently had done not so long ago... There answer was that in there contract that they can pretty much mess up the house all they want and leave you to fix it. The prices may be slightly cheaper but by the time you hire someone for the house repairs it will probably cost you more then going with a different company, Unless your a handy man and know how do do all that yourself.

These guys are by far the best in this area for any heating or A/C needs. They installed a new furnace for me back in Nov. They were far more thorough than any of the other contractors when evaluating the best system for our needs and provided us with far more options. Install was super easy, professional and the guys were fantastic. We had a few questions after the install and they sent a guy out to chat with us and do an inspection of their work. As the heat hit this summer we noticed that the blower wasnt pushing cold air as much as it was when the furnace was on heat. They sent guys out, evaluated that it was a simple wiring issue and did not charge us at all. I would not hesitate to use and recommend Bills for anything heating or A/C related. Top Notch

Today two of the nicest young men came to just check and be sure all was well with my heating and air conditioning. They were so professional and so nice to answer all the questions that I had. They even washed the heating filter for me and told me how to put it back when dry. I cant tell you how pleased I was with the service and care that they took with my home. I will even purchase CO2 detectors as they suggested. They really show a caring attitude and I am so thankful for them!!

In February I paid to have my functional fireplace converted to a gas log set. It was set to install in April (due to Covid and delayed parts). By end of May I still hadn’t heard from Bill’s so I called and was told parts still delayed. Another month and no communication so I asked for a refund. Voila! Magic word “refund” and appointment made for installment today 8/30/2021! Company staff are super nice, installment guys were super nice and log set is beautiful —just need to work a bit on that follow through and communication and it would have earned a 5-star. Would I do business again? Yes.

We got a great service guy come the day after I called. (Our regular maintenance place was almost 2 weeks out). They put a rush on it & it was installed yesterday (June 28). 4 hours later, with 2-4 guys here working. We got a unit that was less expensive than our original installed 14 yrs ago and that works 100x better! In 24 hrs the 120 yr old house cooled from 88 to 75 throughout the house, even the upstairs.The quality of Bills service of old-fashioned Customer Service like in the old days. Start to finish they were AWESOME! There is no one better! Thanks to all who helped us.

Ive been happy with the installers. A couple times they showed up not prepared for the job as they were thrown into it by the scheduler. However they got the job done. I have not been happy with the receptionist, scheduler and all around admin of this company.

Unfortunately I have to leave a 1 start review for poor customer service. If I was rating the crew only, I would give a 4 start review.We had a bunch of work done back at the beginning of the year. They did a great job and were very friendly to work with, one of the things they did for us was installing a gas line to our stove. 2 months after the work was complete we got our new stove and unfortunately the installers put the line in the wrong spot for our stove to go flush against the wall (after they assured us all stoves were universal and would work). They agreed to come out and fix it and that is where things went south fast.They would put us on the schedule, lock in a day and time, then day of when they didnt show, at noon (hours after the appointment time), we would call and they would tell us we were re-scheduled. No call or anything. If this happened once, no big deal, but we were re-scheduled with no call no heads up of any kind 5 times! I even called after the 3rd time to complain and they told me it was not their fault that things got busy and they had paying jobs to do first (even though we already paid them). A simple call in the morning makes all the difference. Every time we were re-scheduled I would pull the stove out the night prior so they didnt have to move it. My wife would also stay home each time and wait all day for the techs to show, and the only way she would find out of the re-schedule would be after calling. Each time I called frustrated, they treated me like I was ridiculous for expecting a call to notify us of changes. Its pretty basic customer service, communication is key.

We reached out to Bills for a ductless heating and A/C option. We currently have baseboard heating and just 2 window A/C units. Our basement ceiling is too low to install traditional ducts so this ductless option was great. They were fast and professional and cleaned up their mess once they were done. 10/10 will recommend to family and friends

I decided to get AC in my home during the hottest week of the summer. I called 4 places to get estimates knowing all of them would be swamped with calls. Bills Heating and A/C returned my call quickly, came out to my home the next day and gave me an estimate. My AC was installed 2 1/2 weeks later. Very professional and excellent service. I called Bills Heating & A/C about replacing my boiler. They were prompt with returning my calls and when it came time to do the install everyone showed up on time. The install crew was very professional, they did a good job of explaining the workings of my new boiler and were very helpful with answering any questions I had. Bills came out and gave me a bid within less than a wk of making contact..during a heat wave..installed my new AC a few wks later..only took the day and they made repairs to my improperly installed furnace from another company that was only a couple years old. Very affordable and found me financing, so I am doing it all on an affordable monthly payment. FYI: Just got installed today so will update if anything changes.The primary install techs were great...very helpful and efficient. The company was also able to get me on the schedule quickly and everything from the estimate to the payment was quick and easy.I dont know if its really 5 stars because I dont have anything to compare them with, but I guess its as fair as anything.

Excellent service from the initial call throughout the installation. They contacted me within an hour or so after I emailed a bid request. They came out the next day to evaluate our needs. (Original electric furnace/heat pump installed in 1976!) Sent off pictures and within an hour a bid was emailed. Signed bid and they called within the hour to schedule installation. Today is one week after initial contact and whole system plus water heater installed today.... just in time for the coming 100+! Thank you Bills Heating!! Outstanding service!!!

I had AC Installed today. They came the day after I called for an estimate and were able to instal a week later. Before choosing Bills I had a few different bids done. Other companies were bidding $200-400 more. They were also going to leave my existing thermostat. Bills gave me the lowest quote and also changed out my thermostat for a new smart thermostat I can control from my phone. They were on time for my estimate and for installation. The crew was very efficient and did a fantastic job. Before leaving they walked me through the system and controls, they were very knowledgeable and were able to answer any and all questions I had.The only thing that seamed off to me, but l can still understand, was the fact that my account was charged for installation the day of booking the apt. Vs. waiting to charge me until the day of service. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the service.

Let me tell you I am so glad we went with Bills Heating and A/C. My wife and I have been shopping for central air for our home for a while and called Bills for a quote, they had just what we were looking for at a great price. Blake and crew did an excellent job with a retro install of an AC unit. They approached this job with a can-do attitude and they managed to avoid any mess or wallboard repair. The AC unit works well and I am pleased with the results.

Didnt offer any filter supply with the installation. No break on first Service. Good job running gas lines and providing Ts and caps for future installations. Replaced failing natural gas furnace and added central A/C unit. This required several workers AC&R and electricians. All were very professional and courteous. Highly recommended!

This morning one of their drivers on i90 pulling a trailer got mad at me because he was in the left lane doing 60 in the 70 zone so I passed him and I swung my arms out the window at him to say get out of that lane. He than followed me wrecklessly down I 90 at 2 occasions almost causing a collision and threatening to kill me and to pull over. Not what I expect from a local business. Will never use them nor recommend them to anyone. Im tempted to still file an assault charge as I didnt even get an apology or call as promised. If my employees ever got a call like this they would not have a job. No exceptions...

My house is very old, so the installation of a new AC required a little more work. They did a great job with careful attention to detail. They all were very nice and courteous. I felt bad for the extra work, especially in this exhausting heat, but they all tried to make me not feel so bad. I am very happy with their service.

The Bills team is amazing. Ask for Mike T. He is super knowledgeable and fast. He’s been in hvac 26+ years. He had my new A/C compressor working in no time! I also referred him to my friend’s salon where they were having trouble getting their hot water tanks working correctly. Mike at Bills was honest and fast! Crooks. They like to do bait and switch. they have two profiles on Google probably another tactic. Oh yeah we will look at your system no charge. Sold my wife an air purifier we didn’t need and never even looked at the AC. replaced the filter with my own filter and said that was the problem. Still having the same problem. Called them numerous times and the manager never called me back until I said I was going to complain to Costco and BBB. Still have never got an estimate and out 1400 for some air purifier that is probably a scam. Don’t fall for their scams I wish I read the reviews below before but I trusted Costco did their own due diligence letting these people in their warehouse

We wanted an estimate to add an AC. they came within a few days, in time. they recommended a new furnace as ours was pretty old and not very efficient, so we agreed. a few days later, we decided to change the water boiler. they came instantly and estimated that as well, the following Monday a full crew shows up right on time and in half a day they were able to get an AC put in, furnace and boiler swap. the guys went above and beyond and even offered to help us with what we were doing personally around the house. Amazing service. fast and very friendly.

When my water heater quit heating water... Well, we all know what thats like. Since my son played baseball for Bills heating (in fact the owner was his coach) I didnt have to look hard to decide who to call. Even with my busy work schedule, Bills was able to accommodate me for a Saturday service. The appointment was scheduled for noon, and I was asked if something comes up, or we have an earlier time would you want it? Absolutely! And that is exactly what they did. By 8 am I knew that my water heater was toast, and 5 minutes later I had 2 quotes for possible replacements. Monday morning I scheduled an appointment to have my familys new tankless water heater installed on Wednesday at 7am. (Pretty quick turn around time in my book, and by Bills having a vast knowledge of avista rebates, the tankless system was IMPOSSIBLE to turn down) all work was done by two teams ran out of Bills office, one being for electrical, and the other the plumbing and install. All I can say is that PROFESSIONAL doesnt give enough credit for the work they all put in. From the first phone call I felt completely comfortable with the service that was going to be done, and upon seeing the level of expertise that is housed under the Bills heating and cooling roof, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a heating/cooling or appliance need.

I took bids from 4 different places for a mini split system and Bills was the lowest. That isnt the only reason I went with them though. All the employees I dealt with were kind and easy going. I appreciated the no pressure call after the bid. Much better than the calls from other places. They were able to get my install done within a few days too. And then, it only took a few hours. The install people were great too. So in all: good price, better people, service I wanted faster than I expected. A+. Will call again when the time comes.

The crew was amazeing!! That stayed to make sure that the ac cooled down and the furnace heated up..and throughly cleaned up! Our house went to 93 degrees to 68 degrees less then 1 hour! Now we can make it through this heat wave now and in the future! It was blazing hot! This crew stuck to it even in this heat wave of 100 plus! Great job guys!! I tried to use Bills for the installation of two air conditioner units at my home. They were very responsive at first and got someone out to give me a quote within 48 hours. A few days later when I decided to schedule the installation, I called multiple times and left messages and nobody ever got back to me. After a week no response or calls back, I moved on to a different company. I just dont feel like I should have to beg any company to take my money.

Bills was asked to our new house by the previous owner after purchase to check the furnace. Bills technician said the furnace was shot and had rust inside as well as water damage and needed to be replaced for 2500 and up. After reading the bad reviews on bills we got in our own trusted technician to have a look... the furnace was fine and worked great as well as the ac unit and he couldnt find any of the things bills said was wrong, he laughed when we said bills came before saying ya they have a reputation for that kind of hinky stuff and said the tech probably didnt know what he was doing in the first place. Long story short always get a second opinion it could save you thousands!!!

My air conditioning unit went out i called other hvac outfits they couldnt come out until July 23. I called bills heating and they came out 2 days later these g I ys were putting in long hours.The showed up on Thursday let me no my unit was shot the Temps in my home were exceeding 92 to 97 degrees. I let there tech no I had my elderly mother living with me and she wasnt doing well.The technician called his office the moved us to the front of the list.By noon on Saturday the new system was in. I wont be going anywhere else except bills.Exceptional service and the 2 technician who put in the system were top notch 👌.Thank you Bills your awesome.

We signed a contract and gave a 50% down payment in February. It is now August 16th and the job is still not complete. We left a message with Danielle last week to inform us when they will complete the job, but no return call has been made.

Bills Heating/Cooling came within a week from my reaching out to them. No ventilation or cool air in a 1000 Sq ft home.(last summer) There so efficient I didnt know there were 2 electricians also on site. Brandon the lead is a winner and they wont have a shortage of customers.We take for granted comfort and shelter but Bills will remind you, the need for enhancements( like cool air} at a reasonable price.

Bills were pleasant from the first call I made to the end of instalation. They were very prompt with getting me an estimate. From the start I felt like they were honest. Everyone I interacted with were very friendly. My instalation went quick and within the day I had a brand new ac unit cold air. Id definitely recommend these guys.

Great service up until they came out, made service call/charge. Agreed to go with them for the repairs and then suddenly couldn’t get a appointment for the repair or a call back. Lady who answered phone was rude and unprofessional acted inconvenienced by my calls. Very bizarre and unprofessional

I needed my on demand hot water system serviced and they were here very quickly were reasonably priced and very friendly and informative when they got here! Didnt waste any of my time took care of their business and got on with their day and let me get on with mine! If you need Heating or water heating service I would highly recommend bills!

The guys were great.I have a service agreement so the only thing I got charged for was my water heater maintenance and I got 20% off that charge.They were polite, professional and on time.What more could I ask?

They added an additional gas line for a range. They did a fine job, my only thing is the time frame, it has to be between 7am and 9am, they cant make it for later time. I work till 11:30 and get home around 12am, so I felt inconvenienced when I tried to explain to the receptionist a later time...THEY DONT!! She was very rude and when I made the appointment with her she slammed the phone down. They did promptly take out $1300 plus dollars for 11 feet of piping though.

They were quick to come by, able to set up an install next day for a down furnace (others would be a week), and unlike the others I wasnt given a $200 bill just to be told my heat was off.Granted there would have been a fee, but much smaller and overlooked die to purchase of a new unit.Great guys, seemed friendly and even offered a few extra space heaters.Keep in mind, I was freezing so I may be bias to someone giving me heat, but unlike the other two companies I called. Quick. Friendly. Better price.

Amazing service as always. We have used Bills Heating & A/C before, but our furnace died in our new(to us) home and they saved the day. The AC unit was even older than the furnace so they did a super reasonable quote and installed both in 48 hours. During the bid/service call they took some time to look at a gas stove that had been wired incorrectly and hasnt worked since we bought the house. It took a couple minutes but that couple minutes meant we had heat to keep our house livable. Then during the install all the guys answered my questions and assisted in training me to use the new thermostat app and replacing filters and central maintenance. Im so happy with how everything went so smoothly considering it is the coldest week of the year.

Our furnace had died, they were able to be here within the next two hours for diagnosis and hopefully repair.
