Driver was professional and courteous. My only dislike was that it took almost an hour to arrive, but that doesnt warrant more than a 1 star reduction considering the circumstances.

If youre reading this, its probably because the police decided to have your vehicle towed there. Sorry. Bad luck for you. This place violates policy of towing vehicle to location near accident. So your vehicle ends up far away with huge towing fees. Their hours are extremely limited and they charge high storage fees, even when theyre closed. They hold your vehicle hostage until you find a way to get there in person and pay with cash. Its basically a scam that takes advantage of people in trouble. Surly and uncooperative. The worst. Competent local government would shut them down, but its Hampton, so youre hosed.

Got stranded in Suffolk Chesapeake and called. Drivers arrived within 1 hour like the lady and told me they would. They took me and my vehicle back to RK Chevrolet in Virginia Beach great conversation and very professional. Thanks Billy and Billy.

By far the fastest service I have ever received! Professional service and reasonable prices. The tow truck driver Greg was extremely helpful and greeted me with a smile. He was even kind enough the charge my phone because I waited so long for A&W towing whom never showed up. I was stranded at Wawa for hours due to Progressives horrible emergency assistance towing. I called around and everyone else was outrageous in price and wait time. I called Quality Towing & Recovery and was told less than an hour. Sure enough, on time. Greg was our driver and was super friendly and helpful. He even helped load the car in my garage AND helped put my garage door back on as it fell off! Thanks Greg and Quality Towing & Recovery! Highly recommend!

Our experience started out ok enough, but didnt end up so well. Portsmouth police were called following a vehicle breakdown. At the time, family members were on the way to pull the vehicle off the road (the poiiceman did not ask) The tow truck got there and hooked up the vehicle. As the vehicle was hooked up, arriving family members were told the tow was going to be $165. No one was available in their office to process a credit card, so the family was told the vehicle would have to be impounded unless they could come up with cash. (Expecting to tow it 2 miles themselves, they didnt have that much on them) The tow driver said payment arrangements could be made the next day with the office. So far - not to our liking, but not horrible either. And it got the vehicle off the road.The following day, no one was there in the office to process payment or facilitate retrieval - someone elsewhere answered the phone and dispatched. I had to cancel arrangements for transport of the vehicle to our usual repair facility for that reason. We left messages and were promised a return call that never came. Finally were able to reach someone days later, but they refused to process the credit card and demanded cash. The bill was inflated to $285! I understand the storage thing, but their website says 24/7 and it is not. ** The vehicle was essentially held hostage, and their driver had given false information. Refusal to accept payment by check or credit card is a violation of the code of the Commonwealth. **Eventually they agreed to tow to the repair shop if we would meet them there with payment. I called to confirm the time and was told their guy was on the way but would be a few minutes late. On the way turned out to be nearly 3 hours!**The Code of Virginia § 46.2-118, A1, A4, B1, B5, B8 contains the law regarding business practices tow companies must follow.
