My husband and I went to see Dr. Bonheur for marriage counseling. Ive had amazing individual therapists in the past and had never encountered poor therapy. Dr. Bonheur clipped his nails for the first part of the session. He then proceeded to NOD OFF multiple times while we were speaking to him. We stopped talking, and he woke up saying, Well, it seems like you two know how to communicate, lets set up another appointment. Im sorry that i was too passive of a person not to warn the person sitting in the waiting room. I felt as though our marital issues were so trivial and tiring to him that he, an actual licenced therapist, actually fell asleep in session. Maybe if you have serious trauma or something he finds interesting hed be ok for you. But if you have regular couples issues, it wont be enough to keep this counselor alert. Ive waited a long time to write a review, but if i could help a poor teenager with serious problems seeking therapy for the first time avoid having a therapist fall asleep during a session, then at least Ive helped someone. Please look elsewhere as this is horribly unacceptable behavior from a profession clinician.
Dr. Bonheur is absolutely amazing. I have had a hard time finding a good Doctor in the past and I couldn’t be more happier finding dr. Bonheur. He is by far the best in my personal opinion compared to all my experience I’ve had with others and I’m very particular about my doctors so this says a lot. I’m very grateful for him.Listens to fine details and gives wonderful advise. Very relatable, nonjudgmental, very down to earth personality, great with kids, homie comfortable atmosphere, knowledgeable.
So glad I found Dr Bonheur for my nephew. He is kind, down to earth and easy to talk to. Gives practical advice for real life situations
