Ive been working with David since 2009 and have been very pleased with the relationship. I had just received an audit letter and David eased my fears and really helped me through the process. Anvil tax has done an amazing job helping us save on taxes but more importantly getting us to do it the right way. He keeps up with the ever changing laws and weve used that to our advantage. I have been in the Financial Services business for over a decade and in that time I realized that having a competent tax adviser was going to be critical for my clients. I used David for my business and personal returns since starting my business in 2010. He continually offered to sell us add-on services like audit insurance (which seems reasonable, but we declined) to greeting card services for my business (which we declined). He then began offering investment/life insurance services. As a courtesy, at Davids urging, I arranged time for me and my husband to meet to hear his life insurance/investment pitch. After learning the details and comparing to our other investment options, we decided that this type of investment didnt make sense for our situation and declined. In retrospect, I realize that he, who had access to all our financials, should have known that it was not a good investment for our situation. After the meeting my husband was not at all impressed. I tend to be very loyal. I had met his family, who live nearby, and was willing to overlook all that as just standard, if not particularly customer-focused, practice. However, not long after we declined his investment scheme, he dropped us as clients via letter with no discussion or warning - a few months before tax season. I, unfortunately, cannot recommend this business.

I have had some great tax and financial advising help in the past, but my experience with David by far exceeds all others. The big picture that we are building under Davids expert care gives me such a good feeling in my gut about securing more options for ourselves and increasing our freedom in our entire lives. After several years of experience working with David, we are all too happy to emphatically recommend him.

I scheduled a phone consult with David Tuck on his website. I sought clarification on taxation of HSAs and medical expenses on my individual income tax return. He said my questions confused him, that he would need to see the information to answer but he wasnt accepting new clients. Really? When I asked if there were other tax professionals he could recommend, he said the only two he knew also werent taking new clients and he just couldnt help me --- virtually shutting the door in my face.
