Ive read quite a few bad reviews so after my experience today I felt like I should go ahead and write one myself. I called the store at 12:30 pm today (Thursday) to check on the status of my wedding ring delivery. I spoke with store manager Reina Hernandez and she was very friendly and informative. I knew that I should be receiving an email notification when my ring was ACTUALLY delivered, which I had not yet received, but the projected delivery date was yesterday. Being impatient, slightly concerned, and just wanting to take the initiative (what could it hurt and electronic systems do make mistakes) I figured Id call anyways. My other BIG concern was that when I clicked my tracking number in the email I received for my order it stated that my ring was undeliverable. Reina explained the notification process but went ahead and checked her system with my order number anyways. Although she couldnt necessarily determine when it would arrive, she politely assured me that its likely just running a little behind schedule. But, due to the undeliverable issue I should definitely call online customer service seeing as how I ordered my ring online. But, what she did next is where I feel she went above and beyond. She took down my number and said she would check her store inventory for a comparable ring in case there was an issue that would jeopardize our ring arriving on time for our wedding. I understand that shes a sales person so why wouldnt she attempt to have a back up plan to land a sale. But, I dont necessarily feel like that was her main agenda and that many other customer service/sales representatives may have missed this opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, give me piece of mind, and let me know that Im supported and will not have to panic/stress because shell make sure Im taken care of in a timely manner. I could say a quite a bit more about my opinion regarding that, but moving on. While I was waiting for online customer service to call me back (8 minute wait time). Reina promptly text messaged me two comparable ring options that she had in her store. I thanked her and let her know Id be in touch after I speak with customer service. Customer service then promptly called me back, looked into my order, and said it was in route and in Oregon... It was just running a little late... Praise be! lol... I let Reina know and she was super supportive and said shell be seeing me soon for pick up and if I ever needed anything to not hesitate and to contact her personal phone (which she text the ring pictures from). Great experience all around so far and Im excited to pick up our ring, thank you for your outstanding customer service Reina and for making me feel supported during a potentially stressful moment.

We called and talked to Samantha and told her we would be driving 3 hours to shop thereShe had all items we were interested in ready to show us with a very pleasant sales lady named Melinda. The manager Reina I believe is her name, was very helpful and responsive as well. The whole experience was pleasurable and we were very satisfied.

The chain to get a line going for Covid was different than just being able to peruse, but it makes sense. The person helping us (myself & a 9 year old buying his mom a present), was patient, educative, and understanding. We got what we came for. It was nice to have good customer service during holiday shopping

I can honestly say that I received some of the best customer service of my life at this store. Reina and her staff were more than helpful in resolving an issue I had with an online sale. Their handling of the situation completely turned my outlook of Zales around. Because of the staff here we will be return customers.

This is the 2nd time my fiancè and I have driven 50+ minutes to attempt to pick up my engagement ring after having it sized, only to find out that the store was closed, despite what it says on their website. We tried to call twice during what were supposed to be normal business hours and only got a busy tone--didnt even have an option to leave a voicemail. I just want my ring.Do not recommend. Will not be returning to Zales after we get the ring back.

The individual that sold my fiance and I my wedding band was not pushy, knew what she was doing and was pleasant to work with. They updated me about my ring being resized even before I got it back. Ive never experienced any of the negative things said in these comments from a Zales associate. I bought a ring for myself about 6 or 7 years ago at the same location, and even then I never had a bad experience.

Every encounter Ive had with zales has been terrible. I will never buy anything from them again. Today was the last straw. I went in for my wedding ring inspection for the warranty. The website said they opened at 11-7. Sign on the door says 12 -6 plus they close for lunch per sign on the door. I also called and there is no recording at all let alone the store hours. Huge waste of my time and money. Clackamas is the only regular store aside from Medford and I live downtown Portland. Theres more to the story Im exhausted just thinking about all the issues Ive had with them.

Reina, the store manager, was consistently helpful and eager to show excellent customer service. She especially impressed me when I called in about my jewelry (out for repair) and remembered both my visit and the prices she quoted off the top of her head.When I went in to pay for the repair, again, she remembered me personally, precisely what we had talked about as far as costs, and showed excessive helpfulness on some concerns and questions I expressed.Her associate was also very helpful and happy to go out of his way.I am pleased with the stores manager and customer service.

My husband got my engagement and wedding ring from Zales, originally the Vancouver location- once that one shut down we were forced to go to the Clackamas location. Not only is it a 45 minute drive, but each interaction that weve had with the staff has been a pain. Most recently, my ring was soldered after the wedding, when I dropped it off, the staff recommended stapling all my warranty paper/receipts that showed the purchase price and every time that it had been inspected into a packet. When my mother arrived to pick up the ring for me two weeks later (she works in Portland and offered to pick it up) she showed them the stack of stapled information for proof of pickup. The staff member took that to retrieve the ring from the back and never returned the papers to my mom. When she gave me the ring 3 hours later, she noted they never returned the papers. I immediately called and spoke with Selena on 11/27 who said she didnt know where they put it, but shed look. She called a few hours later and said she couldnt find it, but shed ask the other staff and call me back the next day. I never got a call back. Called and spoke with the manager Reina, on Monday 12/2. She assured me she would look for it and give me a call back, never did. I had to call her back 3 days later on 12/5. There was never any apology for losing this paperwork, the follow through was poor & it took 5 calls to get any answers. Reina said she would reprint the information she could find on file and I could come pick it up.... I asked her to mail it to me because I didnt want to drive 45 minutes to get papers they failed to return. She agreed and said shed get it in the mail for me. As I write this on 12/17, still nothing. *Update- finally received on 12/19* The team at Zales has dropped the ball every single time when it came to resolving this issue. Love my ring, but highly disappointed in their customer service. Save yourself the trouble, go elsewhere.

I drove 45 minutes to get my wifes ring I had gotten and they had closed 15 minutes early. So I came today and on the website it says 12 am not even 12 PM but their gates are closed and they are sitting there saying they dont open till 1 which is bs online and the website. Never shopping at zales again and never will tell anyone to come here worst customer service Ive had.

If i could I’d give it a zero! The manager here will be your nightmare you’d want to wake up from! Took my ring in and got a ring that looks completely different, its a special ring to me I want it no different than the day my husband gave it to me. I asked the manager to make sure no changes were made and her trying to convince me its same as if she’s blind and cant tell the difference between the prongs. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! UNFORTUNATELY CORPORATE IS JUST AS SORRY, take your ring and buy your ring from a place that would at least give some care about your situation.

I came in looking for either bracelets or necklaces for my wife. They have a very nice selection but the lady that helped me though had a very heavy accent and had a rude pushy attitude. She was not helpful at all. I ended up getting tired of the feeling that jewelry was being crammed down my thoat and went directly across the hall and bought way more then I planned.Stay away from this location, the Zales outlet in Troutdale has much better customer service. I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy.

Beautiful selection of rings and the sales associate Morgan that we worked with has been very accommodating. Had to special order my engagement ring and wedding band since I wear a small size. They said it could take up to 8 weeks and we received them in 6.After trying on my soon to be husbands ring a few times we decided it needed to be a bit smaller and when we went back in she special ordered a size down with no trouble at all.

Me and my wife had a fantastic experience here picking out a ring for me and on a separate time for her. The clerks were both very patient and calm and always held us both responsible for choosing the ring. This place is fantastic and outshines ( no pun intended ) the competition. Thank you!

I had the same experience here with extremely poor customer service. Went to have a few links put into a brand new 600 dollar watch and was greeted with a horrific attitude from of all people the store manager Reina Hernandez. Needles to say I got my money back from the 1200 dollar ring I had on layaway. Corporate was nice enough about the situation and other people in the store were helpful but Reina seems like a miserable person. I can’t help but feel sorry for her.

I came to see their selection, i am a jeweler and i go around to different jewelry stores every so often. I stopped by to see their jewelry and i wasnt greeted. They instead were talking to one another. The atmosphere seems a little depressing compared to other jewelry store ive been in the mall.

Needed to resize my ring... came back wavy and irregular shaped. Asked to repair their error and it was a hassle to have it redone. Got paperwork from other zales (on my own) and they final did the repair but it is still misshapen slightly where they added more gold to fix the last error. Already without my ring for 4 weeks so I probably will just deal with it.I also needed to get a 6 month inspection when they did the repair. I was told it would ne done at the same time. Called to confirm they actually did the inspection and the woman on the phone didnt know and couldnt confirm but could still guarantee it was ok until February for some reason? Odd...Everytime I go in they seem distracted and or on their cell phones. I most likely will be driving another 20 minutes from my already 40 minute drive to the next zales to avoid this one.You would think they would be more helpful and mindful when customers are spending thousands of dollars on something they will cherish for the rest of their lives....

I went in there to get my ring sized because I just got engaged. It should have been a happy moment but the lady working there was very rude, not helpful, and didn’t even talk to me other than to see what size I needed. When I was asking questions on to what size I needed she was very short with her words and had a complete attitude. I never even got any eye contact, and she never even asked for my name. Sad that I have to go in there to get all my work done. It also is going to be about a month to JUST get my ring sized... I even asked why it was going to take so long and I didn’t even get an answer.

I went into the Clackamas store to look at a white gold and morganite wedding ring set and was told that morganite is soft and chips ect and isnt really meant to be a wedding ring and that it wont stay bright for long. Thats all good and fine but the way the lady spoke to us and tried to drive me away from anything but diamonds was done in bad taste. We will not be going back or purchasing from zales, ever.

If there was a way to give 0 Stars I would. This has to be the worst experience ever. We came to Zales and had a interesting experience with a sales rep who which we bought the ring from. Then without them letting us know we had to bring it back to get sized and it was told that it would take 2 to 3 weeks and we asked for them to expedite it at the charge for not disclosing to the length of time that it would take to get it sized. They are blind and said that they would eat the cost of getting the ring expedited so it took about a week to get her ring back I told them that I was seriously concerned about jeopardizing the Integrity of the Ring. I called too many local Jewelers to see if I could get inside quicker and they said that they did not want to touch the ring because sizing a ring any more than one size down would jeopardize the ring and possibly make the diamonds fell out. 3 days later from getting the ring back sure enough the diamond fell out we had to take it back to the jewelry store and they recommended not replacing the diamond because the problem with just persist and to go ahead and get a Specialized ring ordered. Once I spent well over an hour in the store with us sales rep she called me back on my way home just to let me know that they do not make quarter-size is when they do specialize rings and that Not only was I going to have to wait 12 weeks for my ring to get back I was also going to have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks for it to be sized quarter sized down. We called continuously to check on a ring and they assured us that they had no way of checking the status it was either done or not and they will let us know. Needless to say after a very long time of waiting and many many empty promises weve decided to get our money back to be continued

It is Christmas ! I am furious . The Wedding Ring I bought my husband was left in the mail box. ! Recieved a text message in which they informed me was recieved and left with individual! I didnt notice this text I was watching for them to come so I wouldnt miss the knock on door!! Luckly my husband was watching for mail. :( When I open package My husbands wedding band was in an ugly earing box . I was told would be in a lovely gift box. This is the worst place I have ever bought from. ZALES when I called you noone answers. I realize its Christmas I thought you might care how it was delivered. What would you of done if stolen !! Even though I came into the store to pick-up several highly priced pieces of jewelry I had ordered online, the way I was treated in the store is reprehensible. To be exact, the sales clerk treated me like I was some kind of cheap street trash and talked to me like I was dirt! What she said to me was vulgar, humiliating, and beyond belief. ZERO STARS!!!!!

Bought a $500 watch. The strap came off the second time wearing. Clearly defective. The store said I ripped it off. Did not want to replace it because I wore it. Was going to charge me to get fixed. Check online prices before buying also.
