Be very careful working for this company. They will have employees spying on you to report back to the supervisor. Speaking of supervisor Im in belief that one of them who is a married man pushed me out of my job. He knows now that I know why. What I think what he should have done was worry more about his wife then a woman I was speaking too. Jealously from a married man for a single woman is not right. I know his secret lol
There is no diversity in the workplace what so ever. From superior all the way to corporate. They have no feelings towards what you are going through. I have had plenty of concerns that o have voiced but that seems to have just made me a target for write-ups and other discipline. I just received a call that my nephew passed so I went to speak to hr who told me they couldnt do anything until I spoke with a supervisor which I did and in return all I was told was sorry to hear that but you can take a few extra mins in the break room. In so many words what I took from that is who cares get over it and get back to work. This place is only set out for yes man if u have a opinion and speak about it you will b called a lier and nothing will change

Absolutely disgusting watching a driver for this company BLAST THROUGH A LIGHTED CROSS WALK WITH CHILDREN HALF WAY ACROSS IT!!!And your truck is missing a headlight so I highly doubt the quality of your services.
A LOT of the equipment I deal with at my job is old and somethings have not been made for years so its hard to find parts sometimes. Thats when I call Johnstone and viola parts are on their way to get me up and running again. Love my branch in Sioux Falls, SD.

Cheap product, horrible customer service. Maybe they should learn how to treat their employees so the employees would treat the customers right. Save yourself the headache and spend your money somewhere else.

F i could leave 0 stars i would. i was forced to spend almost $6000 in this place because my hvac installer uses them as a supplier. the salesperson joe is a rude, disgusting, condescending little punk. i was discussing with my installer about an ac unit i purchased on the internet and joe started in with his insults. he insulted me on on 3 different occasions, to the point where my hvac installer apologized for bringing me there. joe also lied to my installer telling him that he couldnt sell us a propane conversion kit for my furnace because i had purchased it on the internet. i had to order the same conversion kit that they sell and it held up work on my house for a week. i had some unused materials left and i called to see if i could exchange for something i needed and he told me to come in. as soon as i walked in the door, after i drove 45 minutes to go there, he insulted me and told me he couldnt take anything back. even though the stuff was brand new and i was only asking for store credit and i had the receipt with me. all this after i literally handed these people $6000 of my hard earned cash. its literally like a $200 bucks worth of stuff. places like this are the exact reason why people buy stuff on the internet. if you are using an installer to do work for you, do not let them go here. i have owned 2 businesses in my life, if i ever heard an employee talk to a customer like the way he did to me, i wouldve fired him on the spot. you cant treat people like this and from the other recent google review, it looks like this is commonplace for this company. i left 3 messages for the store manager george in syracuse and he has not reached out me.
The following is a ongoing issue taking place at one of a Johnstone Supply branchs that there Headquarters is kindly sweeping under the rug.The branch had given us the wrong part that was ordered. The part cost was over $1,000 dollars. And when we informed them that the wrong part was given to us and that we just wanted the correct one the owner of the Franchise (Paul Nestler) had refused to honor their mistake. He is insistant on telling us we ordered the wrong part. I being in the hvac field for over 25 years know the difference in parts but the question is does a counter guy being in the business for a few years know the difference? So we had to file a lawsuit to get our money back. We are still in the process of trying to get our money but in the meantime Johnstone Supply (Paul Nestler) has both the wrong part that he gave us and our money. We had also contacted Johnstones corporate office and spoke with Mark Askew who refused to help us in anyway. We will keep you posted as it unfolds but buyer beware DO NOT ORDER FROM JOHNSTONE SUPPLY OR THIS BRANCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
