Had a less than satisfactory experience with this establishment, I had pointed out a couple minor imperfections that the servicer acknowledged and failed to address. On the interior there was a coffee stain in the front and a juice stain in the back that didn’t have any improvement. For the exterior, there was a stain that I was later able to remove with just my fingernails. I felt like I paid for an interior and exterior detailing and nothing that I couldn’t do myself was done. When I picked up my car, the staff attempted to upswell me for a stain removing service that was an additional $65….

I booked my appointment at Maxs Auto Spa over the weekend after getting a quote on Thursday. They told me to bring it through at 8 AM PDT and I arrived just in time. Michael was nice enough to let me know they had 3-4 cars ahead of me and told me the wait was going to be towards 5 PM, which is perfectly understandable.Around 3 PM, I got the text message to come pick up my truck. When I arrived it looked amazing, almost as if it was brand new off the lot. The inside had a lot of dog hair since I am a pet owner and they got rid of everything. They charged a bit extra for the dog hair but thats totally understandable; you pay for what you get.Wes was the one that was working on my car the whole day and did a wonderful job. I just took the keys after he was finishing up a few touches and I was out the door.In the near future if I ever need a vacuum or deep clean, I know where to go.

The whole staff here was so thorough and friendly. They took the extra time out of their normal hours to finalize the detailing my car specifically needed. The spa is named after the owners 2-year-old son, Max, who is the most adorable boss around. Everything was easy from start to finish with this company, and I will absolutely be using them again!

Brought my black Honda Accord in for a winter prep special and it came out looking better then when I bought the vehicle.

After getting the Groupon I tried to reach out to them through phone and email. There wasn’t follow up so my partner reached out. They were quick and it looked good when we got it. The employees were friendly and professional in demeanor. Unfortunately, when I got in to drive away my battery was dead. This is the first time this car has had a dead battery and it came from the center light being left on by them. It took more than awhile for someone to come to help us get it restarted (although they walked by) We were going to leave that be because the inside looked nice and the people were friendly. Mistakes happen. Unfortunately, the morning after it smelled a bit weird and today, when we went to drive to work, our car has an extreme mold smell (like rotting gym shorts) to it that had never existed before. This was not a car we brought in because it was very messy or smelled at all. We are having a baby and thought getting it spiffed up might be a good move. The smell has been had enough that windows stay down unless we are in a public parking area (and even then cracked if it feels safe enough.We will likely be paying to hopefully get this fixed elsewhere. Smell is a lot harder than the dirt we brought it in for.I’m really hopeful they can tell us what happened and make it right because we really liked them for a bit there.

Searched for decently priced auto detailing and this place was not disappointing at all! It was a great experience, highly recommend.

So I got one of those Groupon basic interior + exterior deals. Scheduling was a pretty painless process. Got the truck in there pretty much the next day. They did an awesome job for the interior detailing. All the plastic and leather looks new again. Got pretty much every crack in the truck. I am in the mountains of Colorado 6 mo out of a year and my trucks exterior paint gets destroyed by salt, ice melt and sand. Lots stuff get embedded in there and they were hard to get it out. When I pick up the truck I noticed that there are some area still got some stuff in there and I was prepared to pay extra to get those stuff out. Since I know any other detailers I used in the pasted would charge me extra for those stuff.Then they took a look at the truck and had me bring it back the next week, it took them about 3 hrs to actually cleaned and rewaxed the truck with no charge. I was impressed at least. I guess I found the shop for all my future details in Portland area.Will bring the truck back for another detail next year!

Highly recommend this place for deep cleaning and detailing of the car. Our car had pet hairs, moss on outer side of windows and food splashes in trunk. Everything was gone after deep cleaning. Loved their work. I used a groupon deal.

I bought my boyfriend a Groupon voucher for a full interior/exterior detail for his birthday. All I can say is Max’s Auto Spa was fantastic from start to finish. Everyone I talked to was so friendly and communicative. When we picked his car up it was shinier than the day he bought it (and he bought it brand new), the interior was absolutely spotless and smelled so fresh and clean. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Strong recommend. My 15-year-old car looks news, and Curtis worked with me to get rid of some pretty major scratching and scuffing that I thought I needed to have repainted... he saved me hundreds, AND when I texted him asking if I could have the car ready faster than I originally thought, he made it happen. Never felt pressured, the result is better than I expected, and I will definitely be going back.

Hidden gem car detailing shop. Be sure to communicate the areas of concern youd like attention to regarding cleaning your vehicle. Curtis is great, never met him but he works hard and runs his operation smoothly and with superb customer service. This business is currently run out of a used car lot, but expanding and opening up new locations soon. Pull up to the glass sliding doors and theyll get you taken care of. Be sure to communicate your cleaning wishes to ensure they dont go unaddressed upon pick up. There arent many car detailing shops within Portland, but this one will most likely meet your detaining wants any desires. If youve made it this far down on my review, youre in luck! Now is a great time to check for available Groupon discounts.

I had Max do a full detail on my Tacoma today and was very impressed. He clearly explained the process to me, and what it mean for my truck in particular. It looks amazing. All in all a great job at a great price. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great deal on detailing services.

There has been some conflicting information on how to handle ash on your car from the fires. I called and talked with Curtis. He gave me his professional opinion and I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was. I was happy he was able to get my car in a couple hours later. I recently bought a newer Civic and I was worried about the potential damage that could happen with the rain on the way. My car looks amazing! Well worth the price.

Called Max for a same day service and he said he could try to make it happen depending on the job. I explained to him what I wanted to get done and why I needed it done the same day. He gave it some thought and was able to accommodate my last minute notice. I was expecting a very clean car but its almost as if it was brand new. He did a complete detail inside and out and his pricing is amazing. Im very pleased with the outcome, thanks Max! 🙏🏼 (will try to add photos later)

The interior of my Jeep was filthy and the cream interior was stained. The technician at Max’s did an incredible job making my car interior look new again at a very affordable price. Highly recommend!
