After massive damage to our home from our water heater bursting we called Portland Servpro Northwest for our water restoration. They were responsive and timely in taking care of the problem. I would to give a shoutout to our Project Manager, Mason, who always acted in a professional manner, I feel went above and beyond the call of duty.

A plumber from George Morlan company was installing a new toilet and in the process busted a water pipe. The water pipe broke in two places and caused significant water damage upstairs and downstairs. I ended up calling ServPro on my own because I was not getting any response from George Morlan.ServPro was extremely helpful and extremely responsive. I called them at about 10 in the morning, and Within an hour, Jamaica and Patrick were out at our home to thoroughly assess the damage and to Install remediation. Everything was in place by 5 PM that day. Jamaica and Patrick are great. They answered all of the myriad of questions that we have, and helped us navigate through this dilemma. Jamaica continues to come out on a daily basis to inspect the equipment to ensure it is working appropriately. Servpro is awesome working with my insurance company as well. I would highly recommend using this company.

It’s pretty incredible that ServPro’s service is as good as it is considering you have literally no choice but to call them when, say, your washer empties into the second floor of your house. Lucas + his team were so great at calming me down when I was freaking out and at getting everything cleaned up super fast. They consistently showed up when they said they would, were kind and respectful, and made a horrible situation feel much less horrible! Lucas’s attention to detail was honestly unbelievable. Little things like making sure my hallway bathroom door would clear the big fans and still open. I wish they could do all the repairs too, because I know I won’t find service like this with a general contractor. This number should be saved in everyone’s phone! I hope I never have to call you again though.

Had a sewage pump leakage in my crawl space and contacted Servpro for service. The tech came out promptly to investigate and provided proper guidance on the entire clean up process. Paperwork was delivered via docusign and scheduling was a breeze. On day of service, Crew Chief, Lucas Paredes, managed the clean up and everything well smoothly. I would highly recommend Servpro.

We were replacing our kitchen flooring and found a dishwasher leak. Jamaica from Servepro came in with a calming confidence and a high degree of confidence that made us know that we were going to be well taken care of. She was able to give me an honest assessment of everything that needed to happen and when things would be done. Her and Albert worked seamlessly with our insurance company and was able to complete all our water mitigation and demo and had us prepped for rebuild in the time frame she described on the first day.I hope we never need restoration work done again- but if we ServPro will be our first and only call

Lucas and his team did a great job communicating and handling the water damage cleanup. The reason why Im giving one star is because of the management making this process extremely stressful for me and my family. Its already stressful enough being out of our house for 3 1/2 months due to an extensive remodel in regards to water damage, but the the lengths management has went to charge us more than the standard market rate is surprising and tiresome to deal with.Project coordinator Michael Sabatino initially asked me on multiple occasions to sign over my insurance rights and direction of pay (without considering my mortgage company) in order for ServePro to represent me and use that document as leverage in court to set a precedent for them to charge 30% higher than the standard market rate for the water mitigation and pack out job. After I refused to sign over my rights Mr. Sabatino sent email that threatened to, begin legal action, collection action, filing of mechanics liens, and applying interest charges on all unpaid balances. Ive paid them the amount that was provided to me via State Farm, but they still want 30% more. One of the reasons they charge more than these other mom & pop shops as Mr. Sabatino put it, is because, Were a bigger organization that requires more overhead.The work on my house will conclude in the next 48 hours, but our contents will be held in the ServePro NW warehouse for as long as Mr. Sabatino and upper management continue to squabble with State Farm over and additional $5,000. They are willing to spend more money on litigation (I assume) than what they are attempting to collect from me via State Farm. My wife gave birth to our third child one week after the initial water damage. All we want to do is finalize this process and go home. We hoped this would be a smooth process, but now our belongings will be held hostage due to the litigious leadership of Mr. Sabatino and the ServePro NW management.

He brought in a top notch mold inspector for the pre and post remediation testing.He made sure his team wore no fragrances that would have triggered chemical sensitivity.He used the botanical cleaner to preserve my health and successfully eradicate the mold.His team was hardworking, positive and kind.When we hit stumbling blocks with our HOA; he advocated for us. I had smoke and ash damage from the recent Oregon wildfires. And ServPro was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Would not give an hourly rate or estimate...took a deposit, and didnt complete the work. Left water in basement to do more damage, and had to finish the job myself. Kept my $500.00 deposit after 2.5 hours of work (again, did not finish and left water to do more damage!). Be warned!

I just want to give quick props to this company, I thought I had an emergency, they sent somebody out right away… Three brothers actually work for this company and they’re the ones that came out and evaluated what needed to be done, they were super professional very personal and super honest. We had a roof leak that was coming into our bedroom on a Saturday night. After calling ServPro, they had someone over within the hour. The mitigation manager called me to explain the process and the on-site manager showed up with a team to take steps to protect our home furnishings and slow the leak. Over the next few days, the ServPro team met with my contractor for the rebuild to discuss the demo of a wall and part of our ceiling, set up a tent around the area, laid down protective paper throughout our home, and completed the demo work in high quality fashion. Jamaica came to our home on time each day to take moisture readings and ensure the project was complete before we took any next steps. Throughout the process, every member of the team was professional and highly respectful and made what was inevitably a stressful situation far less stressful than I anticipated. We had a house fire and Martin and Race from ServPro showed up to help with anything needed to secure the home while it was vacant. What a relief it was to call SERVPRO and they came out right away to assess and to help uncover the source of the water damage in my basement. They were able to isolate the area using their water meter device which eventually lead us to finding the mysterious source (overflow of pee drain damaging the entire cork floor, but the drain subsided when we went looking for it). I was able to schedule a clean-up for the next day and their team came by on time, were very professional, and explained everything in detail to me - what they were going to do, why they were doing it, and what I should expect. Although the tech had to come out a couple times, it did not matter to me since the end result was a dried out basement. Highly recommend SERVPRO of NW Portland.

This was a disappointing experience. ServPro was recommended to me after a fire in my condo building to clean my condo of smoke damage. I was handed off to three different project managers. It was frustrating to never be contacted, always have to reach out numerous times for promised information. I never received a final quote, just suddenly was given the date they would arrive to do the cleaning. The painting was never quoted despite being need from the beginning.The workers who did the cleaning were on time, respectful, and good workers. They seemed to take pride in their work.After the cleaning, I notified the project manager that I was canceling any additional work due to lack of engagement on the part of ServPro. Disappointed and will not recommend.

We had a leak into our crawl space from a broken pipe. Servpro located the issue, removed items from around the pipe so the plumber could access it easily, packed, labeled, and removed all of the belongings, and dried the area. The crew was prompt, respectful of our home and the belongings, and careful to keep the path from the crawl space, across carpet, to the outside, clean and neat. I dealt with ServPro after a fire in my office building. The first day was strange because there was chaos and the person I was supposed to meet on day two wasnt there, but he was scrambling to manage all the logistics -- after that, things were very efficient. My account manager, Jon Thielke, was both informative and informed. He answered my emails at all times of day and night, and his crew removed and packaged and boxed and protected every item in my space -- even tiny scraps of paper and fragments of pencils. Not all items were restored and those decisions puzzled me, but they definitely erred on the side of just in case and removed/cleaned everything, including papers, pens, clothes hangers, toys, posters, tea mugs, silverware, umbrella, files, basket, pillow and blankets, mirrors, stapler, posters, shoes, (not mascara wands but yes, the crystal ball); they respected my 11 office plants ... they took PHOTOS of everything they didnt salvage (for posterity I could keep the photo of a long-expired condom still in its package); some things were inevitably lost to smoke damage, a few things were broken (but ServPro reimbursed me promptly and without fuss), and the third party electronics restoration company goofed and ignored critical item but as compensation I got a 1TB drive, and BOTH computers were salvaged, along with my printer and fax machine and phones and modem/router, etc. I always knew what was happening and when; the team was really efficient and professional and friendly, and Jon paid attention to all my persnickety requests and communicated with my insurance adjuster. He tracked things down for me in the vault, confirmed billing with me, acted as a liaison, stayed very cheerful and definitely went the extra metaphorical kilometer on many occasions. I made several trips to the storage site to retrieve important items, and at the end of six months two very affable and good-smelling reps came to my not-easily-accessible house with the last of the possessions. I had HUGE amounts of paper after unwrapping everything, but I’m grateful they packed with paper and not (shudder) bubble wrap or polystyrene. All in all, a good experience in unsettling circumstances.

They were here at my home for one hour and billed me 5 times what the plumber billed for 3 hours. Very dissatisfied.

Mason Bansch and his team were very professional and did exactly what they said they were going to do. He kept me updated with each part of the project, and always informed me about the process. They were also very pleasant to work with, and the crew was very nice. He was also extremely sincere to me when he discovered that my mother had passed. Mason and the Servpro team was wonderful.

We worked closely with water damage cleanup to our home. Mason Bansch and his team were responsible for talking care of our furnishings, moving them into storage and cleaning the items (couch and area rugs) that were soiled. We were very pleased with the extra efforts that Mason provided to ensure that we were completely satisfied that the furnishings were returned to us in pristine condition. We would highly recommend Mason and his team for this important work when a crisis occurs.
