They are thoughtful, kind, have a wealth of knowledge and provide quality craftsmanship. The project manager was on site every day over the course of the project to oversee and be the point person for the subcontractors. Lloyd completely remodeled the basement and kitchen of our newly purchased old home. He created a newer home that maintains all of the old home character, yet has all of the features of a newer home that we envisioned. The kitchen is exquisite, comfortable and perfectly constructed in every way. Lloyd completely re-made a partially finished basement into a beautiful living space, with a master bedroom and sitting room, another large living area and a lovely bathroom. The attention to detail is astonishing, the design is perfect, and the quality is outstanding in every way. Our home is now not only beautiful, but it is also comfortable. He did a great job of explaining how he would do the project and what potential risks there might be to my existing tile. Lloyd and his team did an extensive remodel of our kitchen. Removed a wall, installed a steel beam, custom cabinetry, custom lighting, refinished floors, painted, installed appliances. His project manager was on site every day over the course of the project to oversee all of the subs and he was such a gem. He became an extension of our family. All the teams that they brought in were respectful and kind to our family. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Even with a project this large, his team was able to meet our tight timeline (6 weeks!) to get us finished before a shower I was hosting. They were responsive to all our requests and provided us with a two week timeline at the beginning of every week. We always knew what to expect.

I had LLoyd and his crew (Mark) do a basement remodel. They were fantastic. I cant imagine a nicer group of people to work with. They were very professional but also friendly. The workmanship was excellent and the finished room is wonderful. I recommend them very highly.

Lloyd and his amazing team transformed our blah and rather dingy townhouse into a beautiful, warm space filled with light. The remodel exceeded my expectation, I am absolutely thrilled with the result and grateful for the excellent work and commitment of C&K Remodeling. Our circa 1960 bathroom was dated, cramped feeling, and somewhat of an embarrassment after already having most of the rest of the house remodeled since moving in 8 years ago. There were unnecessary soffits that lowered the ceiling over the bath and shower areas, a bright yellow bathtub, sink and toilet, tired looking cabinetry, and unattractive dated fixtures.We chose C K Construction and Remodeling after interviewing several other contractors. We were most impressed by their presentation and felt the most comfortable with Lloyd Martindale, who manages the business processes for the company. Mark Perez was the most hands-on, hard working and onsite part of the partnership. He was always present on the jobsite, organized other specialized contractors, and often worked 12 hour days. We have been very happy with our choice of C&K.CK worked with us and our designer, Betsy Brandenburg, who we brought in for help with design, materials and color selections. They advised, accommodated and gave us everything that we wanted to happen with our project. CK offered several good ideas and provided a reality check on some ideas that we had which may have not worked well and/or would have cost too much. And they were able to adapt to small design changes that came up during the project.Both Lloyd and Mark were easy to work with. The project was well organized, and each week we were given a calendar of events about what would happen each day of the following 2 weeks. Even when a couple of minor issues came up, CK was able to stay on schedule, and completed all of the work in the agreed upon time and within budget.Without changing the basic footprint of the bathroom, CK was able to create a stunningly changed and beautiful room that appears to now be twice as big. The cabinetry is beautiful, as is all of the tile and the frameless shower.Any questions or issues that came up for us during the project were promptly and satisfactorily dealt with. And CK were willing to provide several extra services that were not included in the contract.All of the subcontractors that Lloyd and Mark brought in were very professional, considerate of us and our neighbors, and did excellent work. Each one contributed specialized expertise that made the project a complete success. We would whole-heatedly recommend that C K Construction and Remodeling should be considered for any bathroom or kitchen remodeling job you might have.
