Called then to check out a noisy dishwasher. They were the first to have an appointment open within the week. The representative who came to check it out was very polite and knowledgeable. Overall very professional and timely service.

Had to order parts for my washer, that part took some time. I get that, based on whats going on in the world today. Austin was on time for the repair and was efficient and friendly! Lexie was also awesome getting me on their busy schedule!

I called Nelsons because my refrigerator stopped cooling and they set me right up with an appointment. They called to confirm the day before and day of. The technician came out right at the beginning of the repair window so I didnt have to wait around. It took him 20 minutes to diagnose the problem and install a part to fix it! Less than $150 all in to fix my 10+ year old fridge and its working great again. I highly recommend Nelsons!

I had an appt for someone from Nelsons to come look at my refrigerator, that was not cooling. The appt was scheduled between 8am-10am on 2/17/21. The technician, Rob, called me at 8am & arrived at 8:10am. I was pleasantly surprised at the time & punctuality. Upon arrival, he took all safety precautions. He was very courteous and friendly. He wasted no time in getting right to my fridge to diagnose the problem. He worked quickly & efficiently. It only took him 15 min to fully diagnose the problem, bad Control Board. He thoroughly explained to me what the problem was, and how it was affecting my fridge. The Control Board would need to be ordered, so he told me that he would call me once he had an estimate for me.The pricing that Nelsons gave me when I initially called, for the service call & diagnosis, was spot on. Rob did not charge me a Penny over what I expected. Extremely happy with their Fair pricing!!!Bottom line: fast, efficient, extremely courteous & friendly service, and AFFORDABLE! I give Nelsons (and Rob) 3 very happy thumbs up!!! 😁👍👍👍

Kudos to Monty who took my call late this afternoon. We had run an auto clean cycle on our oven and unfortunately it had died completely at the end of the cycle. Would not turn on, not working at all. Monty was able to give me tips on what check myself to find the problem and I was able to solve the problem fairly quick. Turned out that the problem was a blown 240v fuse and not the strove. Thanks for the help. I definitely would recommend them to any one for repairs based on their knowledge, professionalism, and sincerity.

I was very impressed with Austin, the young man who came to fix our washer today. He was polite and knew exactly what was wrong. After 3 weeks of trying to fix my washing machine, Ive had to call them at every step of the way for this repair. ZERO follow through. My last call after hours on Monday hasnt even been returned yet by Friday. Thanks guys!--------------Update. After 4 weeks and 4 visits, my machine STILL isnt fixed. I havent received a single apology phone call or explanation as to why they are throwing parts and guessing at my repair. My machine is barely over 2 years old.

I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Nelsons appliance. My refrigerator suddenly stopped working. The folks at Nelsons were able to repair my refrigerator faster than they promised, and it was also much less expensive than I expected. Great place! Highly recommended!

Had a very good first time experience with Nelsons. They arrived when they said they would, the price was fair (half of what a replacement would cost) and the technician was knowledgeable and pleasant.

Sandy did a great job of fitting us into their schedule. And Rob, who came fully prepared with parts and knowledge, was great at troubleshooting and repairing our dryer. We enthusiastically recommend Nelsons.

At first I was concerned that my repair might be closer to replacement cost, but in the end the total to get up and rinnrun again was less than half of a new init. They advised me on my options and the cost was fair. The technician was also helpful and efficient. Will call again and recommend.

How far are you away Nelsons was fine but I was at Pizza

I needed a boot replaced on my Bosch washer. The first time the technician didnt have the part, the second time he didnt have the tools, the third time he did it wrong. The foot had also fallen off the washer and he hadnt noticed. I had to take four different occasions off from work to meet the technician. My son got involved and met them at my house twice and ultimately had to show them how to fix it. Dont use these people unless you want unending frustration.

Great honest people they have always been upfront about repairs letting me weigh all the options. Highly recommend them for anyone that needs an appliance repaired.

Since we have Consumers Energy Appliance Plan, I called and scheduled an appointment to have our dishwasher fixed. I was given a time between 3pm and 6pm on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018. I received a call on my personal cell phone (this is important to note) that they had a bump up in the schedule and could I be available between 11:30 to 3pm the same day? I said yes. This is when I realized that it was Nelsons Appliance who would be performing the work since I scheduled via Consumers Energy. I took the day off work and waited. I saw a Nelsons Appliance truck across the street at my neighbors home and I called, thinking maybe the technician was at the wrong location. The dispatcher laughed and confirmed our address, then stated, ohhh my, you are next on the list and its so odd that we have two services scheduled that are neighbors (this is also important to note, since she said we were next on the list) Having full view, full length glass doors in the front, I was able to view the technician departing my neighbors home at 2:09pm and I was thinking, great, he must need a part and its taking longer than normal, but thats ok, I have the entire day off work. At 3:00pm, I called the Nelsons Appliance dispatcher again and asked, what was going on? he left at 2pm and hasnt come back to my neighbors home. She asked if someone called me at the 388-xxxx number? - I told her I have a Washington, D.C number and not a local number as well as informing her that she called me on my personal cell phone to see if I could accept the bump up time from 11:30-3pm (LIE NUMBER 1). She double checked and confirmed my cell phone number, then said she would call me back. She called back a few minutes later, and stated that the technician was at your home earlier than my neighbors home and he rang the doorbell, knocked on the door, and left a door knocker flier (LIES NUMBER 2, 3, 4 AND 5) I just couldnt believe it! She asked if I wanted to reschedule the appointment since I was not home when he arrived and I told her that I was going to file a complaint with Consumers Energy, unless she could guarantee, the appointment would be kept and no further lies would be told to me. She sarcastically laughed and stated that this is ridiculous and Im sending this back to Consumers. I spoke to Consumers Energy, filed a complaint and made it my goal to have Nelsons Appliance removed from their authorized vendor list. 1. Dont Lie. 2. Keep your appointments. 3. I wish the guy would have just told me I didnt have lunch and can we do this tomorrow? I would have shook his hand and said enjoy the rest of your day. Its the lie that gets you and it will be Nelsons Appliances having to answer to Consumers Energy - they dont mess around. Maybe Nelsons Appliance is a good company, but the one bad employee will cost them a lot of business with Consumers. (I hope)

Nelsons Appliance has been at our house repairing all of our appliances at some point. I feel they are very trustworthy and professional. Most recently I had them come out to fix our Maytag wash machine (they dont make these like they used to) and rather than fixing it and making money for themselves they recommended I look at purchasing a new one for what it would cost to repair it. I appreciated this bit of advice as it turned out I was able to find a very nice machine for the same cost as the repair.I also am impressed with the customer service I receive on the phone. They are always so polite and friendly (what a nice change from a lot of people that you talk to in customer service).Thank you Nelsons!Deby WynneOtsego
