I use to do the early morning delivery to this post office and I have to say it was one of my favorite places to go in and chat for a moment while dropping off and then heading out to my next stop. Some of the staff met my adopted pup Charlie and we occasionally chatted about my kid. I hope all of you are doing well, Anna, Maria, Tara and Shamus. ✌💚🐕‍🦺📦

The post office here in Port Townsend is amazing, and really deserves my 5-star rating! I’m a visitor, but that didn’t faze the wonderful lady behind the counter who listened to my story of woe just days before Christmas. She could see that I was disabled and offered an alternate way to get inside, in the future, bypassing some serious stairs; kudos for her thoughtfulness! She went on to find my package later (Christmas Eve) and had it delivered to me. I’ve been to some good and not so good post offices, but Port Townsend USPS... YOU ROCK!

This is a beautiful building and very cool inside. Built in 1893, a lot of the original character in tac. Worth a visit even if you do not have postal service needs.

This 1893 Romanesque stone building is exquisite. Built to accommodate a potential big railroad city. Luckily, that scenerio failed and we are left with the most charming town and historical architecture in the Olympic Peninsula.

Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly, plus the building itself is awesome. Go to the top floor to check out the view and the little post office museum on the ground floor is worth a look as well.

Amelia is the rudest postal worker I have ever had the unfortunate experience of having to speak with. Always have additude, a gross expression and extreme attitude. Avoid her at all costs!

3/13/20 usps left my order outside in the rain not protected from the rain in anyway. It was a box of diapers. Not a happy customer.

Located in the old Customs Building. Very helpful and friendly staff.
