This place is fantastic! I met with Chris and she was super polite and professional. She took time out of her busy schedule to give me a wonderful tour of the gym. I highly recommend Workout Anytime!
This gym is a scam and won’t cancel your membership even after your yearly contract is expired. Also the facility isn’t worth the money being paid for this gym. Plenty of other real gyms in the area at the same price.
So these people told me it was no contract and a month to month ordeal. Well my debit card was compromised so I got a new one and these guys tried to back charge me 190 bucks for services I never received. I never updated my card info with them when I got my new card and I stopped going there so why am I being charged for something I didnt use and was told it was a no contract deal? Just be careful with these sneaky people
I love this gym. The only gym I’ve been to where I actually feel comfortable and not judged while I work out. I go multiple times a week and I just really enjoy it. Also the tanning beds and massage chairs are a HUGE plus for such a great price. It’s really unbeatable!
Pretty good equipment but just not enough. Definitely lacking in free weights and bench/squat racks, but its doable if it isnt too busy.
The best! I love the convenience of going when I want. Clean and new equipment! I signed up for the personal trainer... one of the best decisions Ive made. Mine cares about my welfare and desire to better myself physically. Id recommend this place to anyone!
3 Stars for Staff Attitude and People skills4 Starts for the Facilities which should be great for most people.Please note: I was not going to write a review here initially, until I got an unprofessional follow up to a survey.I went mostly after 10pm, and on sundays the afternoon. It would usually have about 5 to 10 people there at that time. I could almost never get into the free weights area, it was always rather busy in that area. So i focused on machines instead. All the machines were new and in good condition. Bathrooms were clean and decent. The overall space was good, and it should be good for the majority of people out there. Lots of cardio equipment in good condition. Nice tvs. However, it wasnt the right place for me. After 2 weeks, I got frustrated enough that I joined a 2nd gym, which was more appropriate for my style.Here are the factors that contributed to me moving to another gym where I was MUCH happier:- one late night the door wasnt working when scanning my card, someone was kind enough to let me in, and said the scanner doesnt seem to be working. The next day i called and said i had issues with the door and i wanted to make sure it wouldnt happen the next night i tried to go. They told me to come in and they will test my card. I came in, and was told that they had multiple reports of issues, and that it was a problem with the security company that handles the door, and that it should be fixed now. It would have been great if i could have been told that before i drove in.- it was warm in there at night many of my visits, and for someone getting back into the swing of things, a bit too much warm stale air. I was told they were having AC issues later on.- The paper towels provided to wipe machinery down would fall apart on me when trying to wipe down. No towels provided, so you have to bring your own, or just sweat everywhere.- The equipment in the cardio area didnt have mirrors, so you were just staring at a blank white wall while trying to workout. Made it harder to watch your form.- The cardio section and equipment in the first half of the gym are all in a long narrow layout. it was hard to feel comfortable feeling so on display for the people on the cardio.- They were doing group classes in the mornings in the limited space that they had. HIstorically im a morning workout person. But didnt feel comfortable trying to deal with vying for space to workout. I believe they discontinued the group classes since.The number one reason that made me want to write this review is that after my month was up, i got a survey request, and provided a bunch of information and feedback. About a week later, I got a call from the manager wanting to follow up on the survey, and after introducing himself asked me Whats Up with my responses on the survey? I find this very aggressive manner to start a conversation. I already gave all my feedback in the survey, and now Im provided an open question to go over it all again? Im not looking for reasoning, excuses into why something happened., or is the way it is. Frankly its not my problem. I give you my feedback, you integrate it into trying to make improvements if enough other people report the same issues, and you discard random feedback as noise.If you are having AC issues, you try to manage the people/company who own the building to make sure those get addresses.If you are having afterhours door issues with your security company, you make sure your staff are aware it happened, and why, and that its fixed, and then they can tell people about it when they call in. You dont let your staff have them drive in to test their card, only to not do that and instead tell them that it has been fixed.Biggest thing is: If you get survey results with honest feedback in it, you dont go confronting the person in an aggressive manner.

Amazing gym super clean new equipment. I travel thru many towns and go to a lot of gyms this place is first class with amazing customer service. If I’m in town I will be back.
The gym has gone down hill. The treadmills are full of sweat and gunk. When we reported it to the assistant manager an showed her the bacteria we wiped off the machine she said we clean them on Tuesday Well I was in on Tuesday and all he did was use a feather duster. That will not clean bacteria. There is dirt in a lot more places also.

I never write reviews. This is my first one and I am more upset that I have to write one than anything.Back in November, I went looking for a new gym that was close to where I lived and came across two gyms (One being workout anytime and the other being Anytime Fitness). I went to Anytime Fitness and was disappointed when I found out they only offered yearly contracts and no cancel anytime policy so I went to workout anytime. I was told that the monthly contract can be terminated at anytime and I loved this. I was so hooked I even opted for the $25 membership over the $10, however, I was met with disappointment when a friend and I was told to leave when I brought him as a guest (as I had the $25 membership allowing me to do so) because the staff was going home. The next day when I went I wanted to downgrade my membership to $10 but they told me if I did so I would be charged but if I waited 2 months I would have the option to downgrade or cancel with no charge so I said fine (I thought was kinda odd about the cancel thing) and waited but then the Corona virus outbreak happened and I stopped going in January. Fast forward to June I went to cancel and they want to charge me $59 to cancel and on top of that an additional $26 for the following month THAT I WONT EVEN BE WORKING OUT!!!! I emailed them to try and straighten this out and they dont want to work with me and they told me Im just confused. The person I emailed also said I wasnt in a month to month agreement which is what I was told when signing up! This is ridiculous! I have seen a review on the neighborhood app about this place regarding finances and I wish I listened. I also wish I looked at the other reviews by people written here on google because it would of saved me a ton of money and problems.After emailing them they decided to stop responding and wouldnt get back to me. very unprofessional which also goes for their responses to other peoples reviews.Update: I seen the owner responded and was surprised to see that it was actually professionally which I appreciate, however, the point of the whole email was because I did sign a month to month agreement and wanted to explain that the agreement had been changed and looking at the other reviews I see it happened to other people. Be weary if you’re looking to join this gym. I’d recommended wearing a voice recorder or bringing a transcriber because of not just my experience but by the other experiences expressed in these reviews.

If I could put zero stars I would. DO NOT SIGN UP OR JOIN THIS GYM. I originally joined the beachside location. Than Covid happend. So I tried canceling 3 times with these people since the beachside location shut down for good. They charged me 55$ for a month when they were shut down. I kept telling them to cancel my membership. So after a few months of declined charges I called again. Still didnt cancel. Now I get a bill from an attorney stating I Owe them 202$. They tell me the business switched owners and it mess up a lot. So I call up the Port orange location see if we can compromise with their poor customer service. The regional manger tells me I need to at least pay 100$ of that debt. Absolutely mind blowing that i havent been there since April and they already got 55$ out of me, now they want another 100$ to settle a 200$ debt on my credit. Ill remove this review once yall remove my debt off my credit report.DO NOT SIGN UP OR JOIN THIS GYM!!
This gym is always clean, and the 24/7 access means even with a busy schedule I can always get a lift in. Great gym.
Horrible service, horrible customer care! They only care until they have your money. After that, good luck trying to get anything from these people! No one wants to get anything done, and any issues just keep getting the run around from one person to the next. They make it sound like everything is so easy and hassle-free when you first sign up, but its a completely different story after theyve got your credit card. And forget about trying to cancel, thats not happening. Join a different place, youll have better luck there!
The staff workers are very nice and cooperative! The personal trainer cares about your body and knows what each person should work on! The best gym I ever been to!
So my wife and isigned up because the gym looks great..Nice facility and the staff treats you good, but the owners are a different story.My wife and I signed up and due to our work schedules we never set foot in the gym. Four or five month later we decided to cancel our subscriptions and we were put through hell to do so. We spoke with one of the owners because even though werr canceling they they charged us two months from the day o cancelation. I consider that to be very petty...
Terrible billing service these guys use. ABC financial. Their Daytona beach shores location closed and the port orange Location immediately started charging me. Note the location closed within 60 days of having to pay my annual fee, no refund there either. Nice facility but the management does not have a clue as to how to run billing without using a 3rd party.
Joined in September. Kept passing by and not open. NEVER GOT CORRESPONDENCE from these people.They billed my card October 31 so I figured they were open. Door locked, so I took my key to Shores and it worked there. Went back a few days later in November and door would not open. Someone told me they would be open in a week or two. Like November 15. I just said cancel. They told me it was more to cancel then be there 1 year. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Still have never received a phone call Hey, do you know we are open, I see you never worked out yet? It costs more to cancel than stay a member. BIG RIP OFF
How they treat you as family speaks volumes! I couldn’t ask to be a member of a better club than Workout Anytime!!! Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable environment.Take the time and go check them out! 10 stars +++

Theyre about to shut down like the one on beachside, the gym is ran by 2 high school dropouts who will say anything to get your money. The gym is as big as my garage, dont go there unless you want covid. 5.5k cases in Florida today, the biggest 1 day increase weve ever had. this gym is going to go bankrupt the second it gets shut down again
Isnt it funny that nobody with a negative review gets a response from the owner. Never was notified that the gym was even open and got the runaround when I questioned about not being notified and got told that there was a glitch in the system. Theres no glitch in the system when it comes time to take the money out of your account. For the month of December they took out roughly $115 out of my account stating that it was monthly fees and annual fees, what annual fees youve been open 2 months. Biggest sham going !
I recently joined this gym Yazmin is a great worker she answered all questions I had she gave me a tour and Everytime Im working out she is cleaning up the gym. There are alot of machines and I love the tanning as well such a great place I recommend it to anyone else.

Since this gym is no longer a 24/7/365 gym, which is what we contracted for and need due to our schedule, we requested a prorated refund of our annual dues and any and all charges made for services not rendered. Lexi, Stacy and Steve Ayers all refused to give us our money back in a series of unprofessional phone calls and emails. Steve hung up on my husband at the end of their final phone contact. Steve charged us on 3-30-20 for April on the card they had on record. Refused to refund that too. The gym was completely closed during that period. They also lied about their ability to return to 24/7 status blaming it on DeSantis and a government ruling. Many gyms are 24/7 and have been, including the one we just joined. So a blatant falsehood.My husband and I, 68 and 72 respectively, feel very badly treated by Steve Ayers. We think Steve should have stuck with hustling cheap tires and oil changes in Ormond Beach. One of his past failed businesses. Steve also falsely accused my husband, Mike Gardner, of “cussing out his wife” whom Mike does not know, would not recognize and did not “cuss out” and Mike has never “cussed out” anyone at that gym.We were in business a long time. Civility and courtesy were always our policies and we always took care of the customer. Leaving a customer unhappy with your company is a poor business tactic and a rotten long term strategy. It always catches up with you. We never charged a customer for services not rendered and we worked mostly off referrals due to our excellent reputation as a reliable and trustworthy vendor for over 25 years in Volusia County. I resent these sharp business practices employed by Steve Ayers and his family members. This was an easy situation to resolve but for whatever absurd reason these folks chose to keep our money and treat us badly. I plan to tell everyone I can to avoid Steve, Stacy and Lexi Ayers in any business setting.
People are coughing on each other inside the gym. Just read that this gyms going bankrupt and closing down like the one on beachside. Dont sign up because theyll keep charging you. The gym is owned by 2 high school dropouts.
Mediocre gym in all. Nice machines but the staff is very misleading with their information, especially at initial signups and lack experience in exercise as it seems that everyone other than the trainer is able to answer questions. Management is lacking also as it seems to take everyone a while to receive responses from them. Bathrooms are messy majority of the time as well and tanning beds are not usually cleaned until you let the employees who stay glued to the desk know before you go in.

Friendly staff, clean facility...so far so good...new joiner. Just one thing I have to say is the music...UGH...its horrible! I went in yesterday and told myself I would not use my earbuds, just listen to what is being played, as it is a real pain to carry around the phone. Well, I quickly changed my mind when I heard Lady by Kenny Rogers...next up Keep on Loving You by REO Speedwagon...UGH! Its a gym, not a geriatric facility.
I am 58 years old and I’ve never been in a gym in my life decided to join this gym I have been in the gym for one full solid month and I’ve lost a total of 8 pounds already I am very happy with that the staff in the equipment is top notch and Lexi is a joy of sunshine every time you come in the door if she ever goes away I may not come back but everybody else is also very friendly but she goes Above and beyond to make sure you’re happy when you walk in the door she is the best person ever to have somebody greeting at the door please do not change anything Pete
BEWARE. This club makes it extremely inconvenient to terminate your membership. This is the only gym where u cannot terminate over the counter. This club also do not honor what they promise. This is also the only club they expects u to pay the annual fee even though u would like to terminate your membership before the annual fees are due.

I signed up while they were moving about three months ago. I asked if they take Florida health care, and the lady who I spoke to told me I couldn’t use Florida health care. A week ago I find out that another gym that’s also a 24 hour fitness, offers a free membership with Florida healthcare. So I go in to cancel my membership with workout anytime, and the girl tells me that they do actually except Florida healthcare. She told me that the lady who signed me up was fired because she was lying to everybody and this wasn’t the first time this had happened. She said she was going to talk to her father who was the owner, and get me a refund. My fiancé was also wanting to drop to the $10 plan. She said she couldn’t get the system to work for the ten dollar plan but she would call us that day after she speaks to her dad. It’s been about a week... never heard from her. I called her today, she was on break so the girl I spoke with said she would have her call me. 5 hours later, I decided this is enough and I’m going to just cancel. I walk in there, Lexi (the daughter of the owner) doesn’t even acknowledge any of the issues and fills out the card with the code for canceling and gives it to us. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service!! I was lied to, and then got brushed of like it didn’t even matter! Wish I could give no stars!Edit** in response to Steve’s (the owner) reply since I can’t reply directly.First, I would like to address the fact that she definitely DID say that is why the staff member was fired. I can give more details to what was said, but I don’t need to. I was also never called back nor spoke to Lexi on the phone at any point even though she told me she would call me back that day, and after I left a message earlier today. I was only ever able to speak to her when I came in to your establishment.So unless you are calling me a liar, you may want to be careful what you say. That is extremely unprofessional, especially being the owner. When I came in the first time I asked to speak to the manager, Lexi told me you were in a meeting and that she would speak to you very shortly after you were done with your meeting. She explained that she was your daughter. The problem was never about being able to process the cancellation. The problem was that I was told you offered FHC only after the fact when I came in to cancel and go to another gym, and that the lady who originally signed me up said that you didn’t accept the plan (which according to Lexi and the other staff member up front, you did. And that is one of many reasons why she was let go). This is why Lexi told me that she would speak to you (“you were in a meeting at the time”) about getting me a refund or partial refund and call me that day ( also in regards to the plan change for my fiancé). I never got a phone call. I even verified my number twice with your staff. As a business owner, you should understand that the situation is not OK. After reading all other reviews, I can see I’m not alone. Very disappointed in your response back to my concerns and the fact you are calling me a liar. Speaks volumes to how you run your business.
