After interviewing 5 different window companies, we decided on GJC to do the work.Jessi was professional, knowledged, polite and fun to deal with.We are supporters of local companies if at all possible.With all products being made locally I do not have to deal with a company in another state in case an issue arises.Their staff is their staff. No subcontracting. Again I deal with one person, one location.Windows are 14 - 16 weeks out due to supply demand.I feel I am in good hands.This is my home.I shall write an update after installation.Be safe. Jess Powers was an awesome salesman. He was patient and took his time to explain things. The showroom is big and clean with many windows and doors to choose from. Everyone we met or talked to on the phone was professional and always had time to help me. Any little issue with windows or doors are resolved to your satisfaction. The windows and doors look great, we have received many complaints. This team treats you like family. I could not be happier both with the service and the final products. You need to stop and see this team before you buy windows or doors.

Not my kind of place, at least thats how the sales man made me feel. 30 weeks to get one standard size door, lol. And said they are not an install company. Its probably best it worked out this way.

Great company to work with. During the Pandemic wait times were longer than usual to receive doors but was not big deal. Not GJC fault. Once my sliders came in they made an appointment to come out and install. The two gentleman that came out to do the install were professional and got the job done correctly. Melissa was the person that I had to speak with through the whole process and she was absolutely fantastic. Quality of product exceptional. Installers were efficient. Service from office support staff and communication very poor. Took an exceptionally long time from order to installation, however, COVID issues were partly to blame I suspect.

I talked to Jess about getting work done on my house. I needed new front doors and wanted new windows all the way around. I asked for an estimate and never received it, even after I talked with him 3 times. Jess did not represent the company well. Had to take my business elsewhere. Maybe it was the BIDEN/HARRIS sign in my yard !!

We replaced 11 windows and two doors with impacted rated ones and added shutters to cover the lanai.The installation crew was professional and experienced. They completed the job in three days. We are very satisfied with the way they did the work.

All windows were installed on time and with the minimum of fuss. No mess created and they all fit perfectly. Could not have gone better. I did not have to clean up or touch up anything. I referred them to my neighbor and they were also completely satisfied.

I would recommend GJC Window and Door (and regularly do) to anyone. I recently built a house in which the builder who went bankrupt installed three very inferior doors on the front before they left. I called GJC windows and doors and they came out - when they said they would - provided me a price at their showroom that was fair and installed high quality doors on my new home. We replaced 90s-era jalousie windows with hurricane resistant windows and couldnt be happier with GJC. Everyone we encountered there, be it the receptionist, salesman, installation crew, or final inspection team, was friendly, positive, and knowledgeable.The work went smoothly and minor issues with small imperfections in 2 panes of glass or repairing and replacing a few pieces of siding was done promptly and cheerfully.Couldnt recommend GJC more highly (and our monthly utility bill is dropping steadily with the tighter windows).

Our installers Erik and Tom were super polite and friendly! They kept me updated throughout the 2 days they installed 10 windows in our home. One window in particular was unique and they walked me through the options thoroughly so we could make an informed decision. I also appreciated the time they took to show me how to open and clean the outside of the windows from the inside, and how to remove the screens. Thank you!

About the first of May, I called for an estimate on a hurricane door. A salesman, Tyler, came over a few days later and promised an estimate that evening. Several days passed and no estimate. I contacted GJC again and asked about the estimate; Tyler returned my call and said that he would work it up an send it on. As of May 18, I still havent heard back from these guys. No problem, Sash and Sill came over and gave me an estimate in real time. They gave me a good price and got the job.

From the first contact with sales, all GJC people were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The job was completed on schedule. The installation little or no mess and they cleaned up nicely. Windows are beautiful and no more climbing ladders to put up storm protection!

I had two outside doors replaced yesterday and was so glad that I went with GJC Window & Door. The doors are well built and the front door made my plain house look a bit fancier. But better than the product is how I have been treated since the moment I stepped foot into their showroom. Mary Beth is a welcoming person and very sweet. The young men who installed the two doors, Tyler and Tino, are the most respectful crew I have ever met. They were very methodical in how they did their work, taking the time to make certain every part of installing the new doors were perfectly fitting. But even more impressive was how respectful they treated each other; polite and soft spoken. It was so refreshing to have these young men working in my home.

This company installed 16 impact windows and two impact doors for us. Their work was excellent. They obtained the permit expeditiously once the windows and doors were scheduled for delivery. The county inspection went smoothly. Two windows had to be replaced due to some manufacturers defects but this was taken care of in a very professional manner. We highly recommend them. Their prices were very reasonable as well.

The windows are beautiful however we wish they had cleaned them after install because we were left with smudges & hand prints.

I recently had GJC replace all of the windows in my house (26 windows total). It was a huge job but from my sales rep Derek to the install team--Daymond, Adam and Rich I was never disappointed. They arrived on time everyday, battled the elements, entertained my dogs, and did a fantastic job of installing my windows. Even the inspector for the City of North Port gave them high praise as he went through and checked the installation and function of every single window. I will definitely use them again when it is time to replace the sliding glass doors.

GJC Window and Door are the best! I bought a house built in 1974 and the windows were original. I needed storm impact windows and doors and these guys worked so hard and so quickly to get the job done. They were here first thing in the morning and worked until dark. They ate their lunch standing up at the truck for no more than 15 minutes. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful. They were even nice to my dogs. Everyone who enters my home compliments their work. They were very reasonably priced too. Thank you GJC!!!

GJC Windows & Doors did my entire home last May - impact windows and doors. Derek was my primary contact for the contract who was terrific to work with. My experience with them was exceptional. Their communication was excellent, and work excellent. The city of Punta Gorda inspector who came for final permitting commented that it was some of the best work he had seen. I have recommended them to many customers, as I am a realtor, and its important to have vendors that wont let you down when working with customers.

They are easy to get a hold of, understand deadlines and permits, and are a locally owned friendly company. They recommended custom window systems Windows, and we havent had a single issue. Their prices are also the most reasonable ( because I comparison shopped!) We cant thank them enough for their help and hard work ethic with everyone at GJC.

GJC installed new windows and franed up an old slider into a window. Great company from my initial call. Cant say enough about Daymon and Adam who did the entire job in 2 1/2 days.
