I was told when I arrived that the fee was 99.00 and I left my paperwork and then returned hours later when I was called by the preparer to pick them up and the fee jumped to 164.00. I complained and feel that it was very misleading and not the way a business should conduct themselves. I will therefor not return to a business that practices false and misleading information. The shop that I went to was also very disorganized. The office representative forgot to take a copy of my license then when I returned home, I realized she never took down my telephone number and I had to call them from home to give my telephone number. It was a series of mishaps that should not have happened.

Forgot to use my $25.00 off coupon for first time client. Associate asked me if I was a first time customer and I informed Joanne that I was. She never asked if I had a coupon, after I told her I was a first time client. Apparently they are hoping you forget to use it.Called the next day, when I saw the coupon in my paperwork, but of course there is nothing they can/will do. I was told to keep it and use it next year. There wont be a next time for me. More options out there for less money.

I could probably do my own taxes. However having H&R Block do them I know they are up to date on current and tax filing updates or changes. It gives me peace of mind knowing I havent missed any deductions available to me, its done right and my filing is accurate.
