Great restaurant! Wonderful wait staff. Went for A birthday lunch; they recognized my day by placing birthday balloons on my chair. Had the fish and chips. Fish was tasty, but held the grease a bit, fries were delicious. Tried the house Merlot and it was a good wine. Took a creme Brule home to enjoy later, very good!

We love Alicia, one of the sweetest groomers at this Petsmart!!! She does such a great job on both of our Yorkie babies!

Im extremely disappointed with what happened to Zelda in this last clipping. Although, all the groomings prior to this one were just fine. Ive always specified that they never touch Zeldas face to shave, just to wash. But she came home with her face completely shaved. That was cruel to her and all of us in the family were extremely upset with this situation. What to do? The person who did the clipping didnt pay attention to my specifications, and did a terrible job. Zelda frequents this store and has been grooming in this same place since she was born, this should never have happened.

The pet professionals working here were very knowledgeable and insistent that we only buy certain fish for our fish tanks if we had big enough tanks for them. Very surprised, yet refreshing. I learned a few things and also- I guess the almighty dollar isnt the be all end all that it used to be. Good job PetSmart! Sidney was great.

My puppy just finished the beginner training class and the trainer is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and is excellent with the dogs. My pup loves him and is signed up for the next two trainings.

I was so thrilled to have found the SO Urinary dog food. Due to COVID, Vet Source cannot get in my dog’s prescription food so I tried Petsmart and they had it. I was thrilled to have found it. The curb side pick up was easy and fast. I would definitely recommend curb side!

Lance has been getting groomed here for years; starting after an injury sustained in a small grooming salon which left him with seizures which are controlled by medication. Again, Lance had been going to Pet Smart about every 8 weeks for years. I liked that they were open. It felt safer. We will never go back. After waiting weeks fir an appointment, days for a callback, being asked again about his shots because they neglect to update their records. I overcompensate for their deficiencies by bringing his shot record each time. Regardless, I drove Lance to his 9 am appointment and they refused to take him because of the medical condition he had had since we started coming there. There was nothing new or changed. It was a new person, she apologized like it was just a little inconvenient. She acted like we were a first time customer. I asked her to look at his history. She said I would have to reschedule his appointment when the vet was there. Did I tell you we have been going there for years. I will never go there again. All new people. Clueless. No sense or compassion. She didn’t even understand why I was a little upset. Never again.

PetSmart Port Charlotte, FL is my go to groomer when visiting family. Appointments are available online. Staff is timely, friendly and conscientious. I recently brought my Bichon Frise in for a brush out and shampoo with a nail grind after three weeks of hanging out in the pool. She looked brand new!

It was a good place. They had a good selection of stuff for our dog. The one negative I had about this place was at checkout, they pushed their discount card, which I declined but then the sales person just disrespected me with her comments. I just dont need to be treated like that so I might not be back.

Went in for an item for my rabbit. But I took a quick stroll through the store....no greeting when I came in. Got greeted through the store by another associate.....noticed the atmosphere has changed for the worse. There are no fish for sale. Never asked if I needed anything. Just bc times have changed you should be able to greet every customer. That is how you get paid at the end of the day!!!

My Labradoodle has been to multiple PetSmart locations for grooming and she has always been comfortable with their groomers. Being a new seasonal resident to the North Port/Port Charlotte area, I was happy to make an appointment at this PetSmart. When I arrived to drop my dog off for her grooming, the groomer recommended a longer cut than she got at her last visit at her Michigan Pet Smart location. I instead requested the shorter cut, which was exactly how long I wanted her hair to be. When I went to pick her up, the groomer was not there to go over her experience with me, but instead, the Lead Groomer, just handed me the bill without saying a word, and I left the salon. After checking out and as I was walking out, the groomer walked past me (I didn’t recognize her immediately) saying nothing. Each time at the other salons, every groomer has commented how good she was and asked if I have any questions. Nothing here. I paid $122 plus tip for this service. When I got home, I saw how awful her haircut was. Parts of her body were shaved right down to the skin, straggly hairs in other places, one set of eyelashes was cut, the other not, nails not cut very short, nicks in her skin (behind one ear, between her toes, and worst of all, on her lady parts, which caused her pain when going to the bathroom because she refused to go after we got home). I am sorry to say I won’t be bringing her back to this location and would not recommend others bring their furry friends either.

Most generally our experience here with the Grooming Salon what does overall Pleasant. However this last time we got done doing our errands a little early and decided to stop by the store and wait. When we walked in Wishing one of the groomers with one of my dogs and they had locked so much so that I later realized he had a broken blood vessel in his eye. Now I understand they have a job to do but I also understand they dont need to force to that extent.

They always have the dry cat food and we like looking bat the fish and other cats that are there for adoption.

The parking lot is covered in black asphalt!!!! I see clueless people walking their pet across this hot skillet parking lot too often. Petsmart should know better and so should all you terrible pet owners for not knowing theyre torturing their pets paws on this asphalt surface.

Aunt got Moe groomed hasnt been pleased with a personal groomer so a friend referred her to PAT @ PETSMART very PLEASED her Shitzu looked so adorable & handsome again

I always love this place. Staff is always friendly and helpful and informative about their animals and pets and products that they sell. Especially William I think his name is he is the most informative that explains and answers any questions you may have to the best of his abilities. But the store is well organized and cleaned I always love shopping here and coming here.

This was the worst experience. To start off I dropped him off and they didn’t even conduct a thorough look at his coat, nails, etc. I was asked what I wanted him cut to and I said anywhere between a #5 and a #7 (he is a mini-poodle and beagle mix with a very thick curly coat and I like him to still have his curl.) I arrived there at 2:30 and he wasn’t taken in until 2:50 by my own fault because I had to get his shot records that I had left at home. I left and was told he would be ready at 5:30 so I said goodbye to him and went home. I was called at 4:37 that he was ready to be picked up. This was the ONLY call I received and I have my phone records to show that. I arrived and the first thing that was told to me was that he looked weird. They grabbed him from the back and I didn’t even recognize it was my dog at first. He was shaved at a #10, his paws and his face werent properly trimmed, and he was visibly shaken up. They told me he was too anxious so that’s why he had to be shaved at a #10. I wasn’t called or notified in any way about the change that they would be taking into their own hands on MY dog or called that he was having anxiety and maybe it was best he be picked up and we take a different route. The excuse to his claws not being cut was that they looked fine. I’ll attach pictures below of his claws. At the beginning of the visit I was asked if I wanted his teeth brushed and specifically said NO. On his pawgress report they marked that his teeth were brushed. They left a passive aggressive comment in the report claiming he was extremely anxious and hard to work with. To top of this lovey experience the lady who did his grooming told me he needed to be neutered because it would calm him down. I didn’t pay her to give me unsolicited advice about my dog. Simply to groom him the way I asked and she couldn’t even do that correctly. When we got him home, he is completely terrified of women, he has a horrible shake and we found a cut on his ear that we weren’t informed about. He is clearly traumatized from his experience and it breaks my heart that I can’t go back and not take him to this horrible place. We called and they didn’t seem to care about the details so that the proper things could get done to make sure she wouldn’t do this to someone else’s dog again. They just refunded us the money and closed it up on their end. What about the money I need to take him to the vet now to do a deeper investigation of what’s hurting him since they clearly didn’t do a good enough job by letting us know about his ear and the huge blood red scrape on his back? What about making sure that the girl who did his grooming can never hurt another dog like that again and that she needs to learn better people skills? I’m so appalled at this situation and the way my dog was treated. I’d never ever recommend this place.

I was looking for some algae eaters for my 55 gallon tank Ive got show Fancy tail guppies and I said Id need some algae eaters and he had some in there meaning the sales person and he turned in his as well if you are fancy tail guppies these are a little aggressive and they might try to eat it that Guppies Tails he said well we have these other ones but we dont have any and I dont think today he was pleased to see that there was so I got them in their fine they dont go after the fish at all over something I didnt know myself touche in and that matter I did not know myself my experience was just wonderful

Better inventory than the other pet store near by today. Sometimes one is better than the other, seems to depend on what they have on stock.Again, due to obvious staffing issues, there is help that is slow, at best. I see this as a personnel staffing issue, as I have observed that people are working when on the floor.

Went to see about changing classes for our Corgi. Laura was awesome, and even recommended that we take the tricks class because our dog is still very young. We had talked about that in February, and appreciate the honesty, because we all felt she was getting a bit overwhelmed in the CGC class.

I LOVE that I can bring my dog with me. Its a great exercise for him in discipline & obeying. Also he loves going for car rides. They have the items Im looking for & great treats.

Bought LED Aquarium lights. Needed 3 but the Store only had 2. Bought 2 and looked online at home for the third light. The online price was half the store price! They honoured the online price and refunded me a hundred dollars.Very good service.

Literally the worst experience ever the manager accused me of lying about my age and told me she wasn’t selling me a hamster because I didn’t look like I was 18, I told her ma’am I’m 21 and she told me that I wasn’t and that she wasn’t going to sell me a hamster when I had just been in the store earlier I received the okay from another manger he sent someone to help me, I didn’t find the exact hamster I was looking for so I told him I was going to check somewhere else and if they didn’t have them I would be right back he told me that was okay 20 mins later I came back go into the store and ask who apparently is The Manger if I could please have this hamster I already knew witch one and how she looked, she then proceeded to look me up and down and said are you even 18 and I was like yes ma’am I’m 21 and she said you don’t look 18 so you need to show me your ID and I said ma’am I was in here earlier I wasn’t asked about an id she then pretty much proceeded to tell me I was lying about ever coming into the store and getting help so I went over to the gentleman that helped me earlier and asked if he remember me and he said yes ma’am and I told him do I need my ID to check out to get the hamster he told me no and I asked three times are you sure and he said yes ma’am you we’re in here earlier I’ll send some one to help you he called on the radio and the manger kept ignoring me walking right by me, so I called my mom to tell her about the situation so my mom came in and asked the manager if I could please get the hamster she then caught an attitude with my mom saying “ I just told your daughter I’m not selling her a hamster because she doesn’t look like she’s even 18” & my mom said yes she’s 21 and she told my mom that I wasn’t and pretty much said I was lying about my age I’m very tiny for my age but I’m covered in tattoos and a couple piercings & she proceeded to tell me I was lying and she refused to help me or sell me one all because “ She didn’t believe I was 18 & then told me she didn’t care what her cashier said he’s doesn’t know anything” so that’s an awesome way to talk about your employees, the man was super sweet to me he said I’m sorry idk why she’s even asking that I believe you.

Definitely by far the worst experience I’ve had at a pet store ever. Ordered online ahead of time to get crickets for my chameleons, sometimes they’re out of crickets and I understand that. This time it allowed me to add the crickets to my cart and change the quantity up to 60 even 80! I only needed 60 and paid for it in advance. I went to go to pick them up and said hello I’m here to pickup my order for 60 crickets for (my name). Immediately the other girl that just walked up says we’re out of crickets are you sure you didn’t mean to go to petco in a snarky remark. I said no I have an online order for the crickets but I left my phone in the car so I went back in and then showed her on the app where it said processing and was an actual order. She then explained how again they have no crickets and how I’ll have to wait for a refund because the order would be kicked out because they wouldn’t be able to fill it while being even more rude to me. This was around 6pm and it was a younger girl with straight dark hair and glasses, I honestly wish I would’ve gotten her name but probably best that I didn’t. I definitely will not be going back to this location. They’re known for it too because I went to petco and got 60 crickets afterwards and the lady in there said they hear that about them all the time.

They have a large selection of dog and cat toys, treats, food, collar, leashes, beds, crates, and related cleaning supplies. Though Ive never washed my dog or used their grooming service I know thats available. They also sell fish, aquariums, hamsters and other small pets plus the food, bedding and accessories for their care.We take our dogs to the Banfields Veterinary (for more than 10 years) located inside this Pet Smart. They have great Doctors and vet Techs that always show our pets great care and affection.

Came to this store because of the addition of a new puppy to the family. I spent a hundred fifty bucks in the store and three of the items I purchased were double the price listed on the shelf. So just be cautious when you go to the store because all lot of the prices they have listed on the shelves are not the prices of the actual product themselves. At the end of checking out my bill was an extra 60 bucks then what was originally calculated. So check the prices before you go. I will be returning the over priced items later on

I have been a customer for a good 20 years from Ohio to Florida. I now live in an assisted living facility and cant leave so my dog food has to be delivered. It shows 3 bags in stock but it wouldnt let me order one to have door dash deliver it. My dogs are old and thats the only food they have ever eaten. These people will not have one delivered because they are low which means the customer who walks in the door are more important than an old customer who cant get in the store. This is what I get for keeping my dogs on a food that can only be purchased at Pet Smart. My money is just as good as a walk in customer and I pay for Door Dash so there is not a good reason to not ship it!

They offer curbside pickup. Although the website was tricky to navigate, the store personnel were excellent, and my order was ready in literally minutes. Pulled up to the store, called to announce I had arrived, they brought my order right out and put it in the trunk. Great service!

Oh it was so much fun they offered a wonderful service to let us get our dogs picture with Santa Claus they were so excited. PetSmart has a wide variety of food items and toys there is also a grooming area for your dogs.

For the last 4 years my Fancy Leopard Gecko has remained healthy and allowed me to continue to feel a connection to my forever 23 year old son.
